I recently realised Tahra might refer to the Hill of Tara (though this doesn't exactly fit with Tahra in either game, being a large city), which was considered the seat of the High King of Ireland (Despite the High King not ruling all of Ireland. No matter how hard some tried.). I bring it up as on this site, Tahra has no translation suggested, and wanted to see if this made sense with the Japanese. Another question I have is in relation to Geneology: who actually survived the Battle of Barhara? Considering that the survivors have been rather confusing, I just want to make sure.

OK, so all this news on the special edition aside, does anyone know whether they'll be using the japanese or american script as material for translation? And honestly, what's the deal with the american version's script (asking as I have not been keeping up on this and I am worried from what I heard)? And I apologise if this causes a shitstorm, I still need to be sure what I might be getting into.

Heard of the series a few years back, and liked the (international) GBA games when I first played them. Managed to play most of the series since. 7 was first though.

Honestly, hate's a strong word. To be honest, I'm just more of a fan of Gen 4. Also, would both be an issue to keep track of?

Well that's just awful to read. I've been asking around too and there was no answer so far from people, though with online updates that 69.99 is ridiculous. And I'm pretty much consigned to not getting the special edition. One silver lining is that Smyths have also updated their prices and it's 44.99 for each. Not much silver, but still.

70% avoidant, 74% for Scizotypal and Dependant- Right on the money (probably need to be offline for a while). 58% paranoid + Antisocial- Pretty sure these should be lower. 10% Narcissism- I really do not like me apparently. 50%=< Histronic, Borderline- May be right but not for the reasons expressed. 30% OCD + Scizoid- Probably should do something about these. All in all, I made myself sad.

Skip the effect? No. Skip listening to it? Down + A speeds through it. But you can ignore the support conversation in the support area from it to technically not count the support at all (Avoiding Fred/Sumia in my hard classic for example). Though I'm assuming you want Olivia/Maiden, so not as helpful to that. It doesn't increase it that much though, so maybe it won't have as much of an effect. Just try to keep them away from each other in battle.

Case you're wondering, I didn't count Awakening because Marth's only playable in DLC (Free or otherwise), and the person called Marth is disguised as him (for about a quarter of the main game). Therefore, technically no Marth (Besides, isn't DLC Marth from a card, and (depending on interpretation) not him? I can't begin to explain Spotpass though.) Ignore base stupidity. Besides, the line was kinda meant to be thoughtless, throwaway. I thought people'd ignore it. :P

....Only one FE game with Marth in it (outside DLC) outside Japan? Who knew adding fuel would be fun? Ah, Christmas trees. (i.e. whatever pines suit.) My uncle gave one to all his siblings already, so we have the tree really early. Going to want to decorate it when I'm back home. (In case you're wondering about them Integ the "leaves" are quite spiky initially, it can be tough at times to get decorations on and you need to keep water at the base to prevent it dying in 2 weeks. The effort is worth it, with the beauty of it in the end. That and the smell of a conifer. That almost does it alone.)

OK, two questions. 1: For headered roms, is it recommended to look for a workaround? Because I tried a hardpatch of FE 4 + 5, and 4 seems to be alright, while 5 is much more awkward with all 3 versions. Any recommendations there? 2: If you happen to have a previously patched rom of FE12, can you try to get an update patch, or does it have to be clean and if so is there any way to remove the patch? Let me know if I unintentionally broke any rules, as I'm not sure if these questions may break them.

..... I avoided mentioning that as reduced avoid (and possibly hit) would be bad enough without you sliding. (Make an attack? lolnope now u slide across the lake.... into a promoted berserker with perfect skill.) Now imagine FE6 with that. Or any other really. (I would have trained Shin so hard to avoid that horrible fate.)

Snow should reduce avoid, along with ice. Make the Ilia arc harder, dammit! (Except 20, maybe ease on the Berserk there. Or the entire game.) Meanwhile, we don't really have much in the way of real castle combat. I'm not certain what to do with it, just make some more interesting situations (like taking staircases (which were usually designed to repel invaders) or making certain places when you take them useful (forges, kitchens and so on: used for supplies, which is relevant for a scenario where you are besieged.) Sorry about the tangent there. Other terrains? Most of them cover things pretty well. Stuff like roads and hills have affected things in games I haven't really played. Though using a dark battlefield to your advantage, rather than fumbling about without torch/thieves, would be cool.

Me? While I tend to see Lucius get more crits early on (:D for Lightning), Erk has being in from the start going for him. Both also have a good support network (Being able to be with the Cornwell twins/Serra doesn't hurt), and do take up separate tomes, leaving more units with unique weapons. That being said, I'm a fan of offensive magic, so I like both.

Because if it wasn't Weird Al would be in the right. What does a baby dream?

-Listens for 10 seconds. Holy shit that is too silly. Part of me wants to say it's good. But on the other hand it crosses a weird line for me in mixing music. If I did an LP I'd so use that for a running gag though.
