1. Ow cool, another photographer! I hope I am not too rude, but may I ask what camera you're using? It looks like some of the photos are a bit unsharp... As for the flowers, have you ever considered doing macro photography? You'd be amazed about the results. If you like rain, storm and wind, you can always come over to the coastal areas of Europe ;) PS My parents are from Hong Kong and I've been in Hong Kong during summers as well, so I know how you feel ><
2. It basically lets you perform some actions when you can't. For example, if everyone has a negative BP count, you can still use Bravely Second to perform some action, because this does not deduct BP points (instead, it deducts BS points). Nevertheless, I only used this feature during an accidental mispress of the start button.
3. Well, before calling Ninty tech support, have you checked your wifi settings? According to the FAQ of Ninty , the N3DS only supports Wifi networks with: Nintendo 3DS family*Wireless Frequency: 2.4 GHz Frequency Wireless Modes: 802.11b, 802.11g Wireless Security Modes: WEP/WPA/WPA2 * Games for the Nintendo DS only support 802.11b wireless mode and WEP security.
4. I have played Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, FE11, FE12, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Devil Survivor I and 999 without problems on it. (ow and Luminous Arc II, but I got bored). There may be some issues, but I haven't seen any so far. (Possessing a R4 card since last year October) Main problem regarding this issue, is the available processing power. Most of the R4 cards have a CPU and amount of RAM which is capable of emulating the DS environment. Emulating a GBA environment would require more resources, as the cards cannot directly use the power of the N3DS. The gbaemu4nds which I linked earlier is for example only limited to homebrew and roms till 2 MB. (though it can play commercial titles, but it will be very laggy or buggy) The DSTwo more or less circumvents the issue by having a more powerful CPU. However, I do not know what the performance is or will be when emulating GBA games. Only troublesome thing is that it's more expensive than a R4 card. I bought mine for 10USD (including shipping fees). A DSTwo would be somewhere around 40 USD.
5. The whole strategy in Bravely Default is to time the correct use of brave and drfault. Default when the boss is invincible (or preparing a deciding attack), Brave when the boss is weak (normally after said attack). Also bosses tend to have an attack pattern, so observe closely and use that pattern against them. And finally, don't forget to exploit their weaknesses. Either use the "Examine" skill of Freeloader or just try it out with a mage class. Or to save you some effort:
is lightning attacks. The game itself is a lot of trial and error, I got my team whiped out several times as well ;)
6. I am using the R4i RTS with the N3DS, no problems with it so far. Only thing is that you'll need to update the kernel once in a while and depending on the firmware of the N3DS, you might to flash the flashcard as well (note: this is different from updating the kernel) As for the games, forget about N3DS games, this only works with the Gateway card. However, the card is still buggy and only works for N3DS till version 6.1.0.XX (iirc). Regarding GBA games, it is possible on a R4 card, but once again, it is very laggy. Most GBA games tend to crash (when sound is on) and it requires a separate program on your flashcard. If you want to know more, check here for more information DSTwo however, is able to play GBA games, I quite certain Rey will be more than happy to elaborate on this :p
7. You could also try the NES FE games, there should be a NES emulator in the play store (iirc)
8. Have fun, warzone 2100 became freeware after Eidos / Pumpkin studios abandonded the project. Nevertheless, the community is rather still active and bringing patches on a frequent basis. And of course, skirmises / custom maps are always the best when you're a child. I remember in the many RTS games I played (and still play), the first thing I wanted to try out were those maps where I could see the awesomeness of the air force. Even though flier units are normally "weak", those are still the most awesome units :p Anyways, have fun, the freeware download can be found here btw: http://wz2100.net/
9. It looks like an internal fracture, might be even a crack of the LCD screen. As for your button problem (and maybe screen problem), you might try it yourself by disassemblling it and putting spare / replacement parts in place. An image by image tutorial can be found here: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nintendo+3DS+Teardown/5029 Good luck ;)
10. No, this definitely does not sound like CnC, especially because of: The only game that fits the majority of his points in his description is Warzone 2100: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warzone_2100
11. Haven't checked the topic lately, but regarding the collectors edition, you'll get: - A CD with the OST of Bravely Default - The game (duh) - Some AR cards - the art book and... the infamous Agnes figurine: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=92495611 I am not sure if it's really worth it especially because the figurine is really bad painted, if you can, go for the pre-order bonus edition. They had it over here and you'll get the game and the art book too bad, I was just 10 minutes too late
12. Go do your chores, instead of slacking around
13. Hmmm, lets see: Amazon: games and hardware related stuff. The VAT of 21% on luxury products is a pain in the *** where I live. Also the selling prices are rather outrageous, especially for games (I think I can shave up 10 till 15% off the prices if I order at Amazon) Bookdepository: I need to supply my (technical) literature somehow. Same as for games and hardware, technical (English) books are rather pricey over here. It helps that book depository has a free delivery service Then again, I don't order that much to be honest.
14. Only thing I use are those microfibre clothes that you use to wipe clean your glasses. Works like a charm for smudgy screens ;)
15. Temporarily afk from the IP chat for an indeterminate amount of time...

16. Although I can't give any morr advice than already offered, I would like to clarify how the messages are caused. The messages are usually a consequence of outdated certificates for authentication and therefore the connection becomes "untrusted". See http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/connection-untrusted-error-message#w_certificates-and-identification . I do have to admit it's rather weird though that the services of Mozilla itself generate the same error message...
17. So the tut says: summon a friend during a battle. Sounds fine to me, but...
Shy Tenda's Agnes summon basically whiped out that dragon in one hit o_o
18. putting things on peoples' head >:]
