lol, not really. I'm just on my second playthrough period. Not just with Radiant Dawn. But with any Fire Emblem period. I just really like the Naesala and Leanne pairing and I find their ending adorable. I was just too afraid of getting Leanne killed to do it my first playthrough.

Yep, Elinicia was one of my best units and I really enjoyed using her. She was certainly the best out of any of the Pegasus riders in RD. She would be awesome/endgame material if she were just a healer on a Pegasus, but then she gets Amiti. Her strength isn't all that, but the fact that she usually attacked four times (her speed was pretty good) with a chance to Stun every turn. I just had to keep her away from bows, but meh. Everyone has their weakness and Elinicia more than made up for hers. Too bad I couldn't say the same for Marcia, Tanith, and Sigrun. I think my Marcia was strength screwed--I didn't even bother to restart when she was killed. Tanith and Sigrun were just...meh.

All right then, this sounds good (I'm glad is not next to impossible). But I've seen units activate their supports from up to three spaces away. The only time this wasn't the case was when Ranulf was supporting Ike when he was fighting the BK. There, Ranulf had to be directly behind or diagonal to Ike.

I'd love to get Naesala and Leanne to A support, but I need some tips to go about doing it. I mean, Naesala is a offensive unit and I try to keep my Herons nice and protected. So can anyone help me get this ending without getting Leanne constantly killed. And I apologize if this question is remedial.

Yay! I got through my first playthrough! ^^ 5. Ike- actually Ike was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think I used him that much 4. Zihark- I only used him in two parts o.o I guess I really used him when I had him 3. Shinon 2. Nephenee 1. Haar Aside from Ike and Zihark there were no surprised. I abused Haar, Nephenee, and Shinon to death.

And the spoiler tags are off ^^ Anyway, as far as I know, it's strongly implied that Stefan has lion laguz blood. That comes from his ending in Radiant Dawn "Lion Blooded" and the fact that his Japanese name has Soan (One of Ashera's three heroes) in it.

This line really made me laugh for some reason. Maybe because I like Shinon so much...who I'd like to see more of.

I've often heard that Edward is near useless in Hard Mode but he was excellent in easy mode (which was my first playthrough) and probably will be in Normal as well (which will be all my subsequent playthroughs). He was the best member of the Fail Brigade and now one of my favorite characters overall. He didn't need protection because he dodged a lot. Like I said, Micaiah was great for me as a unit(especially after getting Thani) right up until the endgame. She even doubled things ^^ But in my case, Sothe really WAS her shadow. She hardly ever made a move without having his support.

I too came here for the resources and discovered the forums. My friends started my Fire Emblem obsession so I really wanted to join a FE forum. I also decided to post my fic here as well (and I PROMISE I'm still working on it). However I still do more lurking than anything else.

I generally dislike actually talking on the phone so I like texting far better. My last phone spoiled me with it's full qwerty keypad so I'm making sure all subsequent phones have it too. I don't use text speak either. I like to spell everything out and use correct punctuation. I couldn't text speak if I wanted. Besides I'm far more likely to get back to you if you text me. A lot of people here say actually calling is faster but it's not for me. If given the choice I'll pick text nine times out of ten. The only reason I wouldn't is because for the person I'm trying contact, it may be cheaper to call or I need real time information. My current phone plan has so many minutes and unlimited email, picture, and text messaging. So it's cheaper to text/email me. And as with everything in my life, things may change. So in a few years, maybe I'll like talking better XD

Leyla is one the many characters that popped into my head so I decided to use her name as my username. And to keep up with my username theme, I picked a common Spanish last name. So no, it's not my real name and not even the name I mostly go by. (That's Carmen btw ^^)

The music of Fire Emblem is well done imo. Oliver's Fall aka Power Hungry Fool is a favorite of mine. Sometimes I pull this up on Youtube just to listen to it as I work. I also really adore Sanaki's theme, and Ike's as well. I heard With Mila's Divine Protection (I think that's the name) on Brawl first and then I looked up the original after that and I really liked both. That's a project of mine that I'm working on: I want to hear to hear music from all the FE games.

Lol, I'm wondering the same thing. I like her character but she's given me another reason to dislike Pegasus Knights who aren't named Elincia. <_< And while I am not a fan of Micaiah by no means, she does serve a (big) point to the story. As a unit, I never had any problems with Micaiah until after her second promotion because I didn't think she needed the BEXP spam, but I was wrong. So. very. wrong. And even though Micaiah is "weak" because she's supposed to be protected by Sothe, HE isn't all that great either come endgame. Well, at least he wasn't for me. I can sorta kinda excuse Sanaki's weakness because of her youth among other reasons

Ooh, so many choices. I pick Marth from his Brawl artwork. No, seriously, my vote goes to Sanaki for rocking that purple hair out of many other Fire Emblem characters with awesome hair.

Aww, Meg's hair is adorable! I love her meatball hair style. But back to the subject, I had to look at portraits from past games to be a fair judge but I'm going with Gheb and I'm not sure if it's him or his hair << But seeing L'archel's portrait blown up like that...shudder...she's running a very close, and I mean very, very close second. Her hair looks ridiculous.

Pretty sure this isn't necromancy Ike (Ragnell) and Ranulf I wanted Ranulf to go off with Ike to a distant continent Micaiah (Rexaura) and Sothe (Baselard) Sanaki (Cymbeline) Haar (Brave Axe) and Nephenee (Wishblade) Kurthnaga and Ena- I was ticked that I had to bring her at first...but then I forgot to bring a Restore/Silence Staff...yeah Shinon (Double Bow) and Gatrie (Brave Lance) Elincia (Amiti) and Zihark (Brave Sword) Soren (Rexcalibur) and Mist (Alondite) Titania (Urvan) Reyson Pretty standard choices for my first playthrough. And if some of my supports are odd, I basically just say "Oh look at this! You're seem to be together a lot so you should support each other!" That was the case with all of them except Ike and Ranulf and Zihark and Elinicia who I just put together just to have a support.

Maybe. I should've said this in the first post, but some units suck imo for other reasons than that they're bad units stats-wise. I love Meg's character, but I'd rather take Tauroneo for my next playthrough and I only want to use one Marshall. And I love Shinon too much to ever, ever use Leonardo ever or even Rolf for that matter. If I wanted a real challenge I'd use Astrid who I really want to make endgame material . And as for Fiona....no, just no. She just doesn't...I don't know, mesh with me for some unknown reason. Hopefully that will change. Next playthrough will be a big enough challenge for me because I'm trying to take a both a saint and non-required magic user to endgame at the same time. However you did convince me to use Meg on a later playthrough. After all I do find her adorable even if she does suck. And she will have A support with Zihark. Why? Because I can!

Wow, you actually kept Mercy on Elinicia? I yanked that off of her the second I could. While I dislike Micaiah's character (she made me cringe when she spoke at several points, but she is a pretty decent unit I'll admit), but when did she come off as racist? Or did I miss something?

For some reason I always saw Rolf as three years younger than Mist so would he have been 11 in PoR in 14 in Radiant Dawn? ...Even though his voice didn't really change. But then again maybe some boys' voices change later <<

I noticed this after a conversation with two friends: What's you natural style of playing Fire Emblem? I mean do you prefer to use certain classes of units or certain strategies? Or what makes a unit/class useful to you. For example, when before I started playing Radiant Dawn, I already had big plans for my endgame team. However it was a different story when I started playing. I had planned on taking Laura to the endgame with me, but in the course of the game, I found I disliked and pretty much sucked at using healers. There was just something about them that didn't suit my style. This extends to magic users as well, and in my final endgame team, besides Micaiah and Sanaki, I only have one other magic user and wouldn't have had him if Sanaki used staves. I tend to lean more toward units with good Defense and/or Strength. Not saying there the only kinds of units I use, but that's generally speaking. Haar, Nephenee, Shinon, and Gatrie rocked ^^ I guess that'd make me a defense orientated player because my stategies are pretty defensive in nature as well as well. ...and sorry if this topic/my post confused anyone. I'll also go into my awful relationship with Pegasus Riders not named Elincia later <_<

I agree with the general consensus of this thread: He's exaggerating. But he's hilarious and I like him so it doesn't matter. I've met some people in real life who've had enthusiasm like Kieran's too (but not the exaggeration), so...yeah ^^;;

Going to have to add part 4-5 to my favorite chapters list. Sure, your units could barely move through the swamp, but I got to pwn Izuka. And I made sure to give Zihark the honors.

Kieran rocks. I love his zealousness for his job and he's just hilarious (and is so coming to the Endgame with me my second playthrough). I need to make a special mention of Largo and Devdan's support conversation in PoR. I have to question the sanity of both of them after that, but I still love them!
