Naglfar
I don't know if this has been posted before. Stop me if it has. With the exception of the six units you must take into the tower, the herons, the three you get inside the tower, and a certain Burger King, there are sixty playable units in FE10. You have free choice of any ten to take into the tower (really, I'm not so mean as to disallow everybody except those ten and any forced units for the entirety of the game, though you're welcome to if you really want). As such, it's easy enough to play six runs, using an entirely different team for the final chapter every time. As for who you use in which run, you can choose manually if you're frightened of what luck might give you, but I prefer to use the Sequence Generator on random.org. Assign every relevant unit a number between 1 and 60, then choose to generate the numbers from 1 to 60 in a sequence, and for ease on the brain, format it in six columns. There, you have six randomly chosen teams of ten, represented by the numbers assigned. You might want to write these down or something. Personally I'm doing this on Easy mode just so I get to know what it's like to use each of the characters without any downsides being too extreme or frustrating (read: Lyre). You're welcome to do this on whatever difficulty you want, really. I'll number each unit so you don't have to: 1. Edward 2. Leonardo 3. Nolan 4. Laura 5. Ilyana 6. Aran 7. Meg 8. Volug 9. Jill 10. Tauroneo 11. Zihark 12. Fiona 13. Tormod 14. Muarim 15. Vika 16. Nailah 17. Elincia 18. Marcia 19. Nealuchi 20. Haar 21. Brom 22. Nephenee 23. Heather 24. Lucia 25. Mordecai 26. Lethe 27. Geoffrey 28. Kieran 29. Astrid 30. Makalov 31. Danved 32. Calill 33. Titania 34. Soren 35. Mist 36. Rolf 37. Boyd 38. Oscar 39. Shinon 40. Gatrie 41. Rhys 42. Mia 43. Ranulf 44. Kyza 45. Lyre 46. Janaff 47. Ulki 48. Sigrun 49. Tanith 50. Skrimir 51. Tibarn 52. Naesala 53. Pelleas 54. Stefan 55. Oliver 56. Bastian 57. Volke 58. Caineghis 59. Giffca 60. Renning Discussplz. Defeatist Elitist
I'm trying this. First endgame team: Danved Brom Mordecai Laura Meg Muarim Tibarn Mist Haar Kieran I'm using other units though, I'm just going to only bring the listed units to Endgame. Dawn Brigade would be hell with just Meg, Laura, Micaiah and Sothe, although doable.
Jaybee
This looks interesting. First PT: Stefan Zihark Aran Soren Tanith Volke Mordecai Lucia Oscar Looks pretty nice, other than Lucia ;_; I'm looking forward to using Stefan and Tanith for once Note: Lyre's pretty shitty on EM as well, especially since your units consistently ORKO on that mode. Also, Normal Mode would be a better mode for this, EM is too, well, easy. And HM for this might drive some people insane. For example, Lucia wouldn't get very far on HM. Naglfar
You'll quickly notice that your endgame teams will overlap weapons horribly sometimes. XD Let me share my first run: Edward Ilyana Aran Ulki Elincia Volke Tanith Haar Marcia Geoffrey Very lance-heavy, to say the least. Ilyana and Geoffrey maxed everything. :3 And my current run: Heather Makalov Lethe Soren Skrimir Tibarn Naesala Giffca Leonardo Nailah This team has six laguz, all but Lethe being quite good. Yet I still manage to double up on knives. The logic behind playing on normal mode for this I have noted. I'll go to that on my third playthrough. I quite like how easy it is to get everyone you take into the tower to lv40 or 20/20/20 on easy mode, souped up with bonus experience abuse, however. Ah well. First post edited to be clear that this only applies to endgame. XD

CassieCinders
Damn. It seems that I'm the most fucked over... Why do you all have to get royals for your endgame... Look at it this way: We have all the royals early on, but might be screwed later on with teams consisting of units like Lyre, Meg and Leonardo(Those 3 on the same endgame team is bound to be disaster)
charmander6000
If you don't want to be screwed in your playthroughs because of having too many of the same weapon type you could always make sub-groups and pick one from each. Royals/Lions 1. Naliah 2. Skrimir 3. Tibarn 4. Naesala 5. Caineghis 6. Giffca Cats/Tigers 1. Muarim 2. Lethe 3. Mordecai 4. Ranulf 5. Kyza 6. Lyre Hawks/Ravens/Wolf/Dark Arch Sage 1. Volug 2. Vika 3. Nealuchi 4. Janaff 5. Ulki 6. Pelleas Thunder Arch Sages/Wind Arch Sages/Saints 1. Laura 2. Ilyana 3. Soren 4. Rhys 5. Oliver 6. Bastian Trueblades/Queen 1. Edward 2. Zihark 3. Lucia 4. Mia 5. Stefan 6. Elincia Marksmen/Bow Silver Knights/Fire Sage 1. Leonardo 2. Tormod 3. Astrid 4. Calill 5. Rolf 6. Shinon Serph Knights/Sentiel 1. Aran 2. Marcia 3. Nephenee 4. Danved 5. Sigrun 6. Tanith Reavers/Draco Lords/Axe Gold Knights 1. Nolan 2. Jill 3. Haar 4. Kieran 5. Titania 6. Boyd Lance Silver Knights/Lance Marshalls/Axe Marshalls 1. Tauroneo 2. Fiona 3. Brom 4. Geoffrey 5. Oscar 6. Gatrie Valkyries/Sword Marshalls/Sword Gold Knights/Whisper/Assassin 1. Meg 2. Heather 3. Makalov 4. Mist 5. Volke 6. Renning There, competition for SS items comes down to either two lance users or Brom and another axe user. Since you are playing 6 playthroughs each Heron gets to be used twice while Sothe/Sanaki/Kurth/Ena/Nasir/Gareth rotate and are used 4/6 playthoughs (Ike and Micaiah are forced and Lehran doesn't take up a spot)

For Heather, you can't forge daggers, only knives. Silver knife has 7 mt, 60 hit Peshkatz has 13 mt, 90 hit Basically, unless you think crit will help her or you give her an axe card or twin swords card, Peshkatz > Forged Silver. As for Fiona, if you are using her you are probably training her. Hence, she'll have 34 speed by then. So she gets the wishblade instead of Geoffrey for 4-E-4 anyway. You can switch stuff between them along the way. Brave Lance can be decent for Auras, especially if you stand her next to Nasir for quadding. It's just wishblade lets her double from more positions thanks to 1-2 range. Also, Meg can do well with Alondite's def increase in 4-E-3, but it is probably not the best for blessing. If you get a good card from coins, you could bless a silver forge with her. Or just have her bless a wyrmslayer. Lucia doubles without even Nasir, so unless you have a twin swords forge she may as well get the vague katti in 4-E-5.

Getting them there may be harder, but they are fine. I use Rolf on NM. He does fine by 3-8 or something. 19 AS base, 45% growth, high exp gains. Marcia doubles much better than the other pegs. Better than Titania and Gatrie, too, if you use her. Also she has canto and flight so can be better with the Wishblade despite a little less str than Neph. Don't forget she has fire. As for Oliver, Danved, Rhys, Heather, Tormod? I pity you. Still, you should be fine with: Gatrie Titania Neph Rolf Marcia Ike helping. Oh, and Micaiah + enough levels + cover tile (or seraph robe) + Nosferatu + enemy phase = near death Red Dragons and full health Micky. Danved and Rhys will probably hit the BEXP dump. Hey, I made Heather pretty rocking on EM. Of course, I always give her the 2-E drop and reset abuse her at the start of 2-2, 2-E, 3-2 to get 3 points before 3-2 to hit 20 str and steal the bolting. I didn't bother with her in 4-E in NM, but she was well on her way to capping most things if I had taken her. HM I got her to promotion but not much more. She still helped with Baselard in 4-4 (full inventory on Sothe in 4-3). Oh, and Micaiah + enough levels + cover tile (or seraph robe) + Nosferatu + enemy phase = near death Red Dragons and full health Micky. But should I get Rexaura or Nosferatu blessed? Don't tell me I have to raise up Sanaki's Light rank... You could just give Sanaki an arms scroll. But you have Oliver + Rhys + Micaiah + Sanaki. You can get: Rexaura 2 Nosferatus Purge if you want. Or: Rexaura 2 Nosferatus Valaura Or something else. The second option requires getting Sanaki to S, the first is fine with her base of A. Just get Rhys to S and either Oliver or Micaiah to SS. Micaiah to at least S. This sounds cool, though I don't when/if I'll actually get to it. Two Laguz royals, no one to use for the majority of part 1, and only lolHeather for part 3. A bunch of people who don't start really growing until part 4. You don't have to use just these people throughout the playthrough. Just when you reach the tower. Ercdouken
I'll might as well post all of my runs First run: Tanith Fiona Makalov Titania Ranulf Lucia Edward Haar Oscar Geoffrey Every Silver Knight, but one, on the same team, Two swordmasters, two Gold Knights, a Pegasus Knight, Ranulf and the epicness that is Haar. Oh boy, I gotta use Lucia and Fiona. Second Run: Danved Pelleas Boyd Muarim Shinon Mia Kieran Nolan Aran Astrid Oh boy, Danved, Pelleas, and Astrid. The only Reavers on the same team, both Male Sentinels on the same team, a decent Gold Knight, and the awesomeness of Shinon and Mia. Third Run: Soren Volug Skrimir Nealuchi Tibarn Tormod Caineghis Naesala Renning Ulki Laguz heavy team with three royals. Poor Soren is in a mostly laguz team. Oh boy, Tormod, and I have to use Renning. Forth Run: Janaff Mordecai Oliver Volke Marcia Heather Lyre Meg Laura Gatrie Oh god, Meg and Lyre. Also, Oliver. Two Knife users on the same team, that means all knife users are present since Sothe is forced. I got Janaff, Gatrie, and Marcia. Fifth Run: Bastain Leonardo Mist Elincia Lethe Giffca Calill Rolf Brom Rhys Half of the team is magic users. Also, two achers, two laguz, and a General. Sixth Run: Zihark Jill Vika Tauroneo Nephenee Ilyana Nailah Stefan Kyza Sigrun After redoing my runs with the generator, now Nephenee and Ilyana are on my last team rather than my first. Oh dear, Kyza, Sigrun, and Vika. I get Nailah though. Funny how I got three units that appear as NPCs on 1-5 on the same team. Defeatist Elitist
Here's all mine: First run: Danved Brom Mordecai Laura Meg Muarim Tibarn Mist Haar Kieran Already addressed this one. Second Run: Calill Volke Shinon Soren Jill Naesala Kyza Lyre Vika Nephenee A good mix of units, overall. Some weaker, some stronger, some mediocre. I have to use both Kyza and Lyre though. And Vika. I have a lot of Laguz. No swords, and only one axe, one lance, one knife, and one bow for weapons. Then Calill. :( Third Run: Ulki Mia Tormod Giffca Edward Pelleas Heather Tauroneo Ilyana Renning An interesting mix again. Mia and Ulki are YES, but other than that it's either lolnoavailability, lolweakstart, lolmediocre, or a combination. Fourth Run: Boyd Zihark Skrimir Fiona Sigrun Gatrie Ranulf Elincia Titania Aran I am going to run gaily through the GM chapters, stomping everyone I meet into the ground. DB shouldn't be too bad, what with Aran and Zihark there. If I can get Fiona off the ground, then I'm pretty much set. Then we have Elincia and Sigrun. Overall, it's pretty balanced. No magic users (other than Elincia's staff), but what the hell. Fifth Run: Rhys Bastian Oliver Volug Lucia Leonardo Oscar Janaff Nailah Stefan Batian, Oliver, Lucia and Stefan. Hmmm. Volug is a godsend, and Nailah is pretty cool. Alright overall. No axes at all though. Sixth Run: Tanith Geoffrey Nealuchi Rolf Astrid Marcia Makalov Nolan Caineghis Lethe Really seems to be a fairly balanced team. Not much to say.
