My favorite is the zebra and not because an electric zebra happened to be one of my fan ideas either. ;3 I think it's just plain cute. x3 That fire thing or whatever it is is hideous, imo. I would say they all look retarded, but I'll probably end up eating my words and saying that they kick ass like what happened when Gen 4 can. There is, at least in my opinion, a pretty salient difference. I suppose it's because the art style is a lot more crisp and clear compared to the 1st gen sprites, for example, but the resulting appearance is a little less than desirable. I am a fan of the Pigeon, the Zebra, and the Chinchilla. They are pretty amazing looking. I can;t wait for these games to come out! Also, I bet Gear is going to have a hardcore evolution. Gear looks pretty cool, but I have a feeling it will be a gimmick like Plusle and Minun (maybe a bit more useful for battling, but it feels like the same concept). The others just look strange to me. BTW they also revealed the types, the black legendary is elctric dragon, the white one is fire dragon. Could be the other way around. Unless its evolution gains the fighting type, its pure Fire for now. Gear is my favorite out of this batch. The new type combinations for the legendaries aren't helping me decide which to get. Fire/Dragon and Electric/Dragon are both new typings and both sound like they could be awesome. Guess I get to wait to learn what Pokemon are exclusive to what version and go off of that. Kriemhild Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 I don't like most of these new Pokemon. The zebra, pigeon, and the crocodile look okay but I hate the gears idea. Also, the legendaries look good but compared to Dialga/Palkia, Groudon/Kyogre, and Ho-Oh/Lugia, they just don't look epic enough. Still, Fire/Dragon and Electric/Dragon seem to be pretty good typings. Both weak to Earthquake, and the Fire/Dragon is the only Fire type so far not weak to Water. The offensive STAB combinations seem pretty good as well, with only Heatran resisting Fire+Dragon and Magnezone and Steelix for Electric/Dragon. Also, they have their own exclusive abilities this time, which is much better than just giving Pressure to nearly every legendary. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
