Or make it simpler, I know you want him a biiit on the buff side, but at least make it smooth enough first.

Red lines are over shading, simplify them like Merc's Karel. Then look at, saaay Vamp's Fargus for help with the muscle bulge.

Tealish color should have less 3 skin tons, and a bit less 2nd, but the majority should come from the 2nd.

Purple area has......fairly bad shading,as it really shows the jagged lines, which you really don't want. Use more of the darker tones.

Pink area could just use more shading, since it's fairly stark right next to the jet black hair.

So yeah, there's my fairly crappy attempt at trying to critique.

Vamp can correct anything that I say since I know nothing about muscle mass, lol

You want the general shape to be more like this, as for theupper arm/shoulder(trapz/bicep/delt/tricep) shading i think it's a bit too dark and extended too far, you'd be best using 2nd tone to define alot of it :D

I think the near red box area was over-shaded, but I also think Merc's Karel is a little under-shaded, great, but more shading would be an improvement.
