Alright, still Mid-22, but here's my team so far.

Etzel has A rank in Staves, and mid B rank in Tomes, so he's pretty versatile now.

Salad and Roger still need to get promoted...I hope i get 2 master seals next chapter^^

Ok, here's the official team stats. I must admit that I'm surprised as to how fast Beck was able to max his level, and that the Starsphere REALLY helped that out. Nothing like plinking the Boss to give you a few levels. Same goes for Tiki, though she got criticals so often that I couldn't keep up and ended up just killing Michalis.

Speaking of Michalis, those Swarm bishops really messed with my entire plan. I had to burn through some Fortifies and almost an entire Psychic staff to keep Palla alive, because her attempt at storming the base alone (when there were 2 left), resulted in the remaining 2 D.knights blocking her route into the base, and the 4 of them plinking at her pretty rough. She got down to 1 HP I think 3 times...rough stuff. I don't reccommend that plan.

Also, I reclassed Caeda, Palla, Catria and Nabarl to Loladins, for the extra res. I don't think it'll help that much, but every point counts.

I get my last 2 required Master Seals in this fight, so I get to promote Roger and Salad at some point soon!!!

And, the clincher. Merric has 28 Atk with Starlight, and Gharnef has 10 Res and 44 HP, meaning that I need to hit him for 3 rounds to kill him. Their speeds are close enough that neither one doubles. Also, with the +7 res from Barrier, Merric has 24 Res, which means Gharnef's 28 attack with Imhullu won't be that scary. I'm tempted to reclass Merric to a Bishop for this fight, just to give him the +3 res, but his Str drops to 1, and which means Starlight puts him at 21 Spd and Gharnef would be able to double him, and I want to avoid that if at all possible.

I look forward to this chapter, but not to the incredible challenge that the Swarms and Thorons will bring... At least next chapter is the Manakete level. And hopefully I can pull the Aum out in 1 piece. Having my overpowered Tiki for the final fight would be really nice, and having Nagi there to help would be sweet too.

I told you Merric was Mag-screwed. He's been that way for a long time. Even Lena was keeping it close with her Mag...and that's not right.

Entering Chapter 24 now. I got a Bullion to sell, so I have 10,5~~ in Gold to probably stock up on Heals with. I totally forgot about Elice...Is she worth pumping up? I have a spare Master Seal...so I might be able to work with her if she's actually worth my time...Plus, Etzel is lv. 19 and Merric is lv. 17, so Healing won't allot them too much experience.

And, alternative strategy to defeat the thief and get Aum. Give a flier unit a Javelin and the Iote's Shield that can take survive under the formula [100 - 4(Unit's Def) > Unit's HP], and have a Ballistician hit the thief, then have the flier finish him off in Turn 1. Worked for me, since the only ones that could hit (who was Catria for me) with their Brave Bows 4 times for 8 damage couldn't kill her unless they got lucky and scored a crit. The 100 is the archer's combined attack power btw.

I'll post my team in a little while. Basically, Tiki is lv. 20, the majority of my team is floating around 20/10 (except Ogma, who is 3, and my mages, who are 17+)

Gotta hit the next chapter too. I wonder if I cram Elice with a few Arms Scrolls, that if she could effectively use the Aura tome. That would prove helpful...no?

I haven't quit at this yet! I just don't know how to deal with all the reinforcements yet....it's overwhelming. I don't want to kill the boss to end them though...It's valuable experience!

Remember that you have Endgame to deal with, too. Don't kill yourself over this.

There's a certain spot you can park a Dracoknight (and only a Dracoknight) such that he/she can snipe with a Javelin/Hand Axe, with no fear or counterattack.

Reinforcements have been defeated! Now I just hafta poke my way around and take my time getting Aum. ABOUT FRICKEN TIME!

Barst, Etzel and Merric are lv. 20

Marth is 28.97

Tiki is umm...21 or 22. Max'd skill, speed, and luck, and has 13 Str and 9 Def. She's my secret weapon. She does 60 to the generic Manaketes in this chapter.

Catria, Palla, and Abel are 15+

Cain is 13ish

Caeda is 10ish

Elice is 11 unpromoted. Ogma, Nabarl, and others are below 20/10,

Still got all my legendary weaponry all max'd out.

I'm in a small dillema though. Should I kill off Tiki w/ the Falchion and Aum her back next chapter...so as to get last minute experience for the rest of the party?

I should've probably taken the extra Fortify and the Swarm spam, but for some reason, I decided to stick with Elice and Nagi. I pumped the sh!t outta Elice in 24x, promoting her and getting her well beyond lv. 20/10. That was a smart move. I had mediocre-speed Etzel and plain ol' Merric. I needed someone else, and Elice filled the slot way better.

Before I finished 24 though (Hardest. Chapter. Ever.), I sold a buncha goods that I wasn't planning on using, so that I could afford 2 Mends, 2 Recovers, and all the items in the secret shop excluding the Talismans (because what's 8 Res going to do to save me against a Magestone that doubles me for 25 anyway?). Pumped up Elice's Tome rank to A, and let her poke a few enemies in ch24. Got her all the way to 13.36 before the fight ended...woo hoo. Oh yea, I promoted Salad too. I didn't use him in the 2 fights, but little did I know that this would be the smartest move of all.

Also, reclassed all my Paladins to Dragon Knights, and reclassed Barst to Berserker. The extra crit and offensive thrust was key in surviving this chapter...and was why I failed to beat it in the past. Basically, just hit at the mountain cross section and let him be the first hit, and let Palla, Catria, and Abel do most of the rest of the work. Cain & Caeda sat in the mountains to the left and teamed against the enemy reinforcement Peg. Knight that kept annoying me, and Tiki & Marth took turns taking out the 1 stray manakete that came around the mountains to flank my team.

I wanted Elice for the end fight, after her successful performance in my PMT run, so I did. I set Beck (with 25 Def!) on 1 staircase, and let him be a wall for Elice to plink behind with Fires. Worked like a charm. She hit things for 3-4 rounds before killing anything, giving her excellent experience. I think now that the Arms scrolls weren't necessary though, but oh well, it's just Weapon rank. Everyone else is pretty much set on their ranks.

You can see who really got pumped. Most of it (for all but Elice) was in Chapter 24 though. Marth, Barst, Catria, and Palla got the brunt of the experience, with Tiki and Abel close behind.

This chapter was fun. I'm actually almost done with it already.

Items were set. No stat boosters were used. None. At. All.

Deployment went as follows.

Roger: Benchwarmer

[MB]Marth's brick: Marth, Beck, Abel, Cain, and Auto-Nagi.

[NE]Northeast Corner: Caesar, Tiki, Merric, Barst

[NW]Northwest Corner: Etzel (no Fortify, has Psychic), Palla, Nabarl, Ogma (Mercurius)

[CC]Central Corridor: Catria (Gradivus), Elice (Aura), Caeda

[MB] Geosphered/Fortified on the first turn, and had Palla take out 1 Ballis, and Beck take out the other. Bumrushed Nabarl to take out the Manakete and had Etzel and Ogma sit near the top door, just enough to prevent lockout. [MB] then went to sit on the forts, while Beck kept plinking away at a few lone units before shifting over and having Marth run over with the Door Key. I'm thinking I'll go back and have Abel make his way over.

[CC] stayed still, aside from Elice fortifying.

[NE] did their best, but lost Barst in the process. Merric got locked into the top room, but he's safe up there, able to Fortify away as the need arises. Tiki and Caesar made it out safely.

Palla and Etzel block the Ballis/Hero reinforcements, and they';re locked in.

All of a sudden, it's Tiki, Caesar, Elice, Catria, and Caeda left...but wait, the furious 5 at the top got a lucky smash on Caeda and took her out (she took out 4 by herself, the General finished her off). Elice Aura'd him. Sweetness.

Tiki, Caesar, Elice, and Catria left. Catria has the Iote's shield, so she bait's the 2 archers and takes them out quickly, since they're still hurt from Geosphere.

The 4 struggle to get to the remaining stairways where the Manakete and Hero are coming from, but manage to get there w/o any more deaths! Elice is on 1, Ceaser on the other. Thank god he made it through! If I didn't have all 4, I could'nt have made it to the stairs before the reinforcements kicked in. Only had to deal with 4 (maybe 5) waves.

Now, I have 1 Door key, so I'm deciding on whether to bring Marth or Abel up. Abel has the tasty longbow, so I think I'll do that. Tiki hits Medeus for 45...so yea.

All reinforcements are blocked, and I still have Catria, Tiki, and 1 other unit able to roam around! (well, Merric too, but he's stuck).

I'm just gonna take my time and mosey Abel up, Save, Longbow the shit outta Medeus, and Win!

Oh Yea, btw. THIS IS MY FIRST FRICKEN ATTEMPT! No Warps too! Just Rushed the shit outta the enemy and with some strategic placement, it all worked out!

I'm at work now, but I'll be done with this game as soon as I get off. Perfect timing, since my draft tourney is about ready to begin.
