Soren and ike will do most of the stuff in the gm chapters anyway. Nolan wont need it since hes like lv 20/4 in 1-E (ill post the log tomorrow). zorbees Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 Might as well report the first couple of chapters that I have done. 1-P: 5 turns + 4 for Eddie = 9 for this chapter, 9 Total Eddie got a useful wrath crit on the boss on turn 4 enemy phase, and then took the boss kill on turn 5 player phase as Micaiah was out of range. He also got a wrath crit on a random bandit on turn 3 enemy phase which made it so that Micaiah didn't have to dodge a hit on the next turn. 1-1: 6 turns + 4 for Nolan = 10 for this chapter, 19 Total Nolan held chokepoints for the most part. Micaiah needed to dodge the archer from 2 HP at the end of the chapter but she did so all went well. 1-2: 7 turns + 4 for Nolan = 11 for this chapter, 30 Total Nolan went up the ledge, Leo rescued Laura in the upper left corner of the starting room, and Micaiah took hits while healing on player phase. Sothe's arrival helped immensely. I took an extra turn for the Energy Drop. Leo dropped Laura in front of the Arrive spot once everything was clear. BEXPed Micaiah up to level 20, particularly since Volug shouldn't need the BEXP for part 3. I tried to do RFoF's 4 turn strategy but I actually found a slightly different one. I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I know that Jarod was killed on enemy phase and not player phase. BK moved into Jarod's range on turn 4 while Micaiah was busy killing things. Micaiah also found a coin. Rafiel was useful on turn 1 and the last couple. Muarim used the Chest Key to obtain the Parity scroll on turn 7. Not sure about Micaiah's weapon levels since you go right to part 2. Marcia fought as well as she could, which was not very good, considering she had to rescue Leanne to protect her. It was pretty tough getting Marcia to survive with Nealuchi and Elincia unattacked but I pulled it off. 2-1: 6 turns + 4 for Nephenee + 4 for Brom = 14 for this chapter, 103 Total. I used both Brom and Nephenee and broke through the front. Nephenee was luckily able to double the Lance armor near the start. Nephenee survived with 3 HP after poison on turn 5 enemy phase by dodging a couple of attacks, and wrathcrit the boss on turn 6 player phase. I recruited Heather with Brom on turn 6 as well. I originally tried a Nephenee solo but couldn't get it to be fast enough while also recruiting Heather. 2-2: 7 turns with no penalties = 7 for this chapter, 110 Total. I gave Lucia 2 levels of BEXP and she capped Res, which will be helpful for her last couple of BEXP levels in tier two, come part 4. Nealuchi was used as the free unit. I used a lot of careful positioning to expose Lucia more often than Nealuchi. I went the northern route, and placed Lucia in front of the General blocking the boss on Turn 6 Enemy Phase. I killed the Armor with Lucia on Turn 7 Player Phase, killed the boss with a Nealuchi wrath crit (he was hit by some crossbows earlier in the chapter), then danced and arrived. Lucia reached S Swords on this chapter. Lvl HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Weapons Lucia: 16.21 39 18 11 29 27 19 14 17 Sword S 2-3: 5 turns + 4 for Geoffrey = 9 for this chapter, 119 Total. Gave Geoffrey a level of BEXP so he could gain Str to 2HKO the boss with the Brave Lance. Geoffrey solo. I used the NPCs as decoys by having them target Geoffrey. This was so Geoffrey would have enough HP to survive, as I sent him alone once and he failed. I didn't get the Speedwing, as it would have cost a turn. Set Marcia up with some items to give to the GM units, such as the Hammer, Concoction, and Silver Axe. Kieran hid in the corner. 2-E: 1 turn + 4 for Elincia = 5 for this chapter, 124 Total, 44 for Part Two. Standard strategy after giving Elincia 3 levels of BEXP and she got Str in all of them. No Energy Drop unfortunately. I saved my part 3 file before I listed the stuff I transferred, but it was mainly laguz items, strong weapons, and concoctions. I am 7 turns behind Pegknightlover thus far, which isn't too bad because I believe I can make up turns in parts 3 and 4, particularly 3-1 and 3-3. I will still lose some chapters, like 3-5 and 3-9, but I think I am doing pretty well, especially for my first time. No one else has posted anything so I can't compare my run to theirs. I know she killed the archer that Nolan chipped on EP, and then she chipped a soldier or killed him I can't remember but alot of the chipped enemies were fed to her so she won MVP:. She got 6def now . Sothe cleared the rest, he even got the boss kill and the steel bow , of course the drop was grabbed too. Miccy got Thani. Miccy is turning up her defensive side ^^'. Laura was the one who grabbed the money chest and Ilyana blocked the way in, the reinforcement tiger died on Ilyana and the cat died on Sothe (cat attacked first though). Miccy found Beastfoe and killed the left side boss (Wrath FTW). He wrath critical the boss at turn 6. 6+4= 10 turns 1-1: Nolan use the choke point to shield Micaiah, who kills left-overs benhind him. At turn 7, Nolan kill the fighter guarding the escape point and Micaiah escape. 7+4= 11 turns 1-2: Nolan and Micaiah team to defeat the incomming enemies. Sothe appears and clear the way for Laura.On turn 8, Miccy kills the myrmydon with the chest key,Nolan get Thani and Laura arrive. 8+4= 12 turns 1-3: I decided to go to the left instead of the right like I usually do. Sothe cleared the first few enemies and nolan helped until Laura recruited Aran. Then, Aran helped Nolan and Sothe,and gained a level in the process. It worked out because the other enemies got Miccy and resolve and died, the archer needed to die first though because he had higher hit on Mic. First Part was done in 5 turns. Second part was completed in 3 turns, Sothe FTW! Micaiah was shoved by Laura on turn 1 to kill an enemy and Ilyana killed another. Gatrie diverted/killed most of the enemies while Ike and Mia charged ahead as fast as they could. I did have to get a little lucky with the bosskill though, but that is to be expected when using Mia. I needed either a crit and an adept, or two crits, on either player or enemy phase with the Wo Dao equipped, as well as to dodge one of the two Crossbow attacks (plus the general south of the boss but he only had like 30 hit on Mia). The undrafteds moved over to where the laguz started, as to not get hit by an enemy using the ballistae. One of the enemy halberdiers blocked Skrimir on turn 7 but he was killed by a laguz NPC before Skrimir moved. Ike and Kyza led the way, with Mia and Gatrie not far behind. Kyza was actually doing decently with the resources I gave him, he doubled the boss for a good amount of damage, allowing Ike to finish with an Ettard crit (20% chance). Provoke really helped keep enemies away from attacking Ranulf. On the last turn, I cleared just enough enemies out of the way for Ranulf to arrive. Mia attacked Lombroso with a Wind Edge, and she needed (and got) one crit in four attacks. On turn 3, Gatrie rescued Reyson after being vigored, so that Reyson could survive. Ike chilled on the defend square. Stats will be updated after 3-7 (I cleared the chapter on Enemy Phase and didn't have a chance to check). 3-6: 9 turns with no penalties = 9 for this chapter, 171 Total. Gave Zihark Savior, Hammer, Storm Sword, and Brave Axe to transfer on 3-7. Gave Volug Beastfoe and Paragon, Micaiah got Shade and Wrath, Sothe got Cancel and Resolve. Volug took the north, Sothe followed for a bit but then doubled back to the east with Micaiah and the Black Knight. I had to do some clever positioning in the last couple of turns to maximize exposure to enemies. Sothe was shoved by the BK and was able to get into an open area of land where he could finish off the last few enemies. Forgot stats again, as I ended on enemy phase again. Volug was level 22 or so I think. 3-7: 13 turns with no penalties = 13 for this chapter, 184 Total. I BEXP'd Ike to level 20 because his speed was lacking and he had already capped some stats. Gave Mordecai Celerity so he would have an easier time avoiding enemies. Gave Kyza Provoke and Wrath, Gatrie and Mia got Adept, Reyson got Miracle (because I forgot at 3-5) and Ike had Smite. I killed a whole lot of stuff, mainly working to give strike exp to Janaff and Kyza. From turn 7 to turn 9, I had to disarm Aran so Sothe could go and snatch the Seraph Robe. 1-5: 6 turns. Sothe and Aran took care of the first few enemies, with Micaiah getting a few potshot kills. Then, Sothe took care of the renforcements while Micccy and Aran moved foward. 1-6-1: 10 turns. Zihark took care of the armors in the south while Miccy,Sothe and Aran moved foward. First time trying out Resolve on Miccy, and damn, it makes her way more useful! 1-6-2: 3 turns. Sothe went to the left to kill all the enemies.Then, he lured the boss and Miccy OHKO'ed him. 1-7: 10 turns. Everybody went right and climbed the ledge to get to the boss. Sothe weakened the boss with an Iron Knife forge and Aran killed him. Miccy seized at turn 10. 1-8: 8+4=12 turns. Zihark took the left side,Tormod took the north side and Miccy,Sothe and Aran cleared the midle side. The only pain here was the dracoknight and the bandits that kept going through the swamp.Aran promoted and he now has a delicious 18 speed :) 1-9: 5 turns. Micaiah couldn't handle all the enemies, even in resolve form, so on turn 3, I placed her on thicket. It let her survive, but I had to take one more turn than Rfof's strategy, which I should give credit here.Pretty good strat, man. Miccy is very speed blessed: 16 speed at level 20 :D I will probably do around 9-10 turns for 1-E, which mean that Part 1 would go with a bit more than 100 turns. Pretty good for me, I did around 140 turns at my last draft for part 1. I followed the upper route (the one everyone takes). BEXPd Lethe a bit and getting her ready for P3. I tried giving her alot of combat for raising her strike ^^'. Had to take Lucia penalty. I love Normal mode Astrid because she actually doubles and kills unlike HM mode Astrid, it was depressing in the HM draft seeing her not double and not even killing if landing crits but NM Astrid is amazing <3. Lethe was fed BEXP to level 27 that was she can help in 3-1 and that way GM BEXP is more abundant. I did leave some BEXP for Astrid when she comes back in 3-9 though. Lethe was fed a stone and Elincia broke the wall, Leanne vigored them. I did this to have Lethe raise her strike, she's my only laguz anyway (beside Vika) . I did use some BEXP on Elincia now that I recall, idk why though lol. I'm kinda thinking about sending Zihark to GMs, they really will need all the possible help(How am I going to get through 3-7,3-8 and 3-10 with only Ike, Shinon, Heather and Mordecai?).What do you guys think about that? Oh, and does anyone has a good strategy for 2-1? I hate this chapter with burning passion. 2-P: 8 turns. Elincia just hung out in the middle of the map while the others stayed in the corner. RNG Princess Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 (edited) Give Heather Adept and several MAX MT forges (like 10 in 3-2 because they burn fast) she's really good IMO she's Mia Lite ^^' Mordy is Solid enough you should be fine just BEXP him to 30 give him a satori sign and he'll rock. Besides you have Shinnon to top it off ^^'. I think Aran can manage the DB chapters by himself. Well, no offense, but you kinda did blow it by drafting him AND Aran unnecesarily. Anyhow, it's not to say he's far from reedemption. Far from it. Zihark would just really appreciate an Energy Drop, a Robe and a Secret Book for BEXP slowplay. Just give him Resolve and support him with Aran.
