There is no denying that Sain's str is awesome. Even at base, he has 8 str. Kent needs to be 5/0 on average to match this. To illiterate on how strong he is, at 10/0 in Chapter 16, he almost 2HKO's the toughest non-Bauker enemies on the map(cavaliers)with an iron lance or steel sword and does it guaranteed with a steel lance. Ridiculous. And even in C17, he almost ORKO's knights with a steel lance. Even the higher end ones are 2RKO'd by iron lance or steel sword. And did I ever mention that he has the same str growth as Hector and Dorcas? To give out an idea of how strong Sain can actually be, at 16/1 he has 26 atk with an iron axe, which cleanly 2HKO's most of the wyvern riders in ~C21 with WTA(and leaves even the most durable ones at 3HP). 16/1 Kent cannot do this without a silver lance. 25 str cap isn't the greatest in the world, but Sain reaches it by 16/12, which is about his endgame level. Not bad. How's he doing on the doubling? 10/0 Sain has 10 speed, which doubles things like pegs, archers, and slower cavs, but doesn't get things like mercs(then again, only Lyn and Guy double those). So he's doubling most things, which means that he's ORKOing. His growth is only slightly lower than Kent's so Kent's speed advantage basically accounts for nothing. Like, there is basically nothing that 16/1 Kent(14AS)can double in ~C24 that 16/1 Sain(13AS)can't. And basically everything that Sain can't double, Kent can't either. Though I guess Kent can avoid getting doubled by the Silver sword hero at 16/1 while Sain needs to be 16/3 to do the same, though fuck having anybody except Raven or Oswin fight that guy. Sain's durability is about on par with Kent's. 35HP/11def at 16/1 is getting 3-4HKO'd on average by steel lance wyverns and definitely getting 4-7HKO'd by everything else, and even at 10/0, Sain is getting 3-4HKO'd. Not bad. 80HP/20def is about the same as Dorcas, but there's definitely worse out there. It should also be known that Sain can use the LHM knight crest by C10 or something, and he'd be doing your other KC users a favor by being promoted in C16.
