Whoops.

Sorry Aero, I didn't think he'd actually do it :P:

IMO Pick Dusclops then. It takes forever to kill. And shadow ball is stab.

Or Starmie. It resists psychic and assrapes lategame.

Be prepared to buy a lot from the casino.

Tough call on that, going one way, someone could fill their box with low level clones that don't matter. Going the other, someone could level something really high and then not use it for the E4. I say only the E4 fighters count, with an unwritten-but-now-written "don't be a dick about it" rule.

Does anyone else have any thoughts about this? I think my original Sableye should count, personally, because I didn't do any of the above mentioned. Without any of my Sableyes, the average is 34.5. Not a big difference.

how about the sableye you used for repel duty in victory road?

I personally think you should count only the higher leveled unless you didn't use it in any point of the game. If you did use it, you have obtained advantage out of it and thus deserve to have it in you average

I ended up not catching a repel Sableye and just gave my lead pokemon a cleanse tag. The level 34 Sableye didn't see battle at all, I checked and it doesn't have any experience. But since I caught it with the intention to use it, I guess it can be averaged.

No Sableye: 34.5

Sableye1 only: 34

Sableye2 only: 34.43

Both Sableyes: 34

edit: cleanse tag not spell tag

Well I suppose it (higher leveled) could/should be counted if you had every intention to use it. I wouldn't exactly mind if you don't count it seeing it really had no exp.

However counting both is just stupid because it opens whole yards new grey area between being a major dick and utilitymon usage

Done.

Juan was trolled by Shedinja.

Elite Four was mostly get in a Toxic on what can kill Shedinja, stall it out, and bring in Shedinja. Except for Glacia, Minun swept, but I only had a few items left at the end. Final Party:

Shedinja Lv 35

Minun Lv 36

Ninjask Lv 32

Marshtomp Lv 33

Gyarados Lv 32

Mightyena Lv 31

Average: 33.16

Dayum! Nice one Bolting! Beating both Horace and CR!

I am pondering on what I should be doing for the troll twins 'cause I accidentally didn't draft any Dark types :(. Swampert is getting gang raped so I need to think this one over.

Chapter 2: Brawly why fite

So like, I got the PokeNav from the President, um yeah, I don't feel like going all out since Brawly is kind of, iunno. Anyway, I beat him. Artemis nearly swept him, but Focus Punching Meditite said no.

Yoshi and Artemis were on level 18.

Chapter 3: Wattson has his Manectric cure his ED

Yep, don't feel like going all out for this either. Maybe for Flannery or Norman. Anyway, I basically had to stall out his Magneton with Artemis and the use of Calm Mind. She leveled up after she knocked out Wattson's Magneton and learned Psychic. I grinned and won.

Also, I went ahead and caught a Numel and Grimer. Both with defensive natures as well (Relaxed and Lax). smug.gif

P.S. My levels are kind of high, so lul.

Chapter 4: Flannery isn't cool at all I do not see her appeal.

The road to Lavaridge was annoying, thanks to Team Aqua and Magma. BAH Gym time.

So anyway, Artemis and Terrablaze did all of the work here and I spanked Flannery.

P.S.; Where is everyone? I mean really, did you all give up?

I played T+L to death trying every strategy I could come up with short of powerleveling and got a whole ton of nowhere. I might just bite the bullet one of these days and get Xatu or Kadabra to like 40ish.

Fun fact: it turns out if you Skill Swap Levitate off of something, its partner will NOT Earthquake it to death.

Oh, and I lost interest a bit once I realized that the main strategies I was planning on using I picked up from a LLC run I did on GameFAQs once in which Shedinja, Wobbs, X items, and switching Pokemon (other than Shedinja and Castform) out of your party were all banned, but you could use whatever you wanted. Everyone got behind using REALLY fast Pokemon with Screech (Crobat, Electrode, Ninjask), Paralysis (Secret Power, Thunder), residual damage (Toxic, Leech Seed), and priority moves (Swellow, Absol, Breloom).

And I'm still convinced Spionk could have been PIVOTAL.

Okay, you've convinced me to get back at it.

I finally got Liza And Tate by giving half my team Protect to buy time to give Xatu enough time to get in an X Speed and a bunch of X Attacks that he could set up Light Screen and sweep with Fly and Steel Wing. Crobat helped out with a Screech on Claydol. Everyone else drew Psychics and Earthquakes.

Then I go beat up the grunts at the Space Station. I actually lost once to Maxie, but didn't restart because I hadn't saved since before T+L, then I lost AGAIN to Maxie, still not having learned my lesson, so I lost about 50k in the process. Basically, I'm an idiot. Hopefully between mass-berry farming, selling absolutely everything, and the money I'll earn between now and then, I'll have enough left to supply myself for the E4.

At this point, I got the underwater Water Stone from the Abandoned Ship, and a Chinchou (Bold nature + Volt Absorb ftw), so my team is actually looking like the epic-Special-Defense-based water-killing one I had planned. I teach Chinchou Thunderbolt and Surf. I also did some treasure hunting in the meantime.

Team Aqua and Archie got wrecked, thanks to my numerous grass and water types. I'm about to go release Rayquaza.

Everyone is currently between lv 28 (Marshtomp) and 31 (Crobat). Plus Xatu is chillin' in the box at 33.

I've been working out strategies for Tate and Liza. Its been going on for days don't worry, I'm not out of this yet. Also what are you gonna do about that Harpoon?

Marshtomp got EQ because no one else can learn it. Juan wasn't too bad, thanks to x4 water resistance and Toxic on Ludicolo. I didn't even have to evolve Chinchou beforehand.

Then I sailed on over to Ever Grande. Wally was kinda tricky, but I got a bit of lucky confusion and Crobat is as awesome as ever. So I'm currently making my way through the cave.

I should wrap things up this week. All levels are 30-33. I'm about at the point where I should start feeding all mandatory exp to Lanturn and Crobat, since they level the slowest.
