great knights use the weapon triangle it has been shown frederick's stat sheet near the middle shows swords lances and axes

Good find. Frederick's screen also confirms that Great Knights are indeed classified as an armored class, and therefore confirms them as a Knight promotion.

Looking at that scan again, I noticed two odd things with Sumia's scan. First, she has the Pegasus icon, but also a horse icon. So perhaps this means flying characters are now also vulnerable to Horseslayers and related weapons? Odd.

The other is the stat bonuses. Her screen shows her with +3 Str, +2 Spd, and +5 Def from fighting alongside Callum. The Str and Def make sense; those are his best stats, and in fact the bonuses are the difference between Sumia's Str/Def and Callum's. The Spd is just odd, but looking at the screen to the left of it where Sumia is first teaming up with Callum, only the Str and Def bonuses are shown. So it seems the Spd bonus may be coming from somewhere else. Also, both of their overall bonuses add up to 10, and aside from the similar anomaly of Callum's +2 Def, his bonuses seem just as much aimed at closing the gap between their best stats, only not as completely.

Generals in FE11/12 used lances and bows, maybe they'll do the same here. Soldiers and Halberdiers just strike me as Lance specialists, but maybe Soldier could get another promotion with some cool combination.

Well, I don't think they could get away with just lances/bows here. Consider that they'll almost certainly have the choice of promoting to Great Knight, which offers the gain of swords, axes, and +3 Move. General couldn't compete with that by offering just +1 Move and bows, especially when it appears General will not be able to boast a higher Def stat. General will almost certainly need three weapons (or more) to compete, although I'm becoming increasingly convinced that with all of this wackiness, bows will be one of those three to further help set the class apart.

If Soldiers are playable, which certainly seems to be the case with Donny, they'll need two promotions, and I doubt they'll both be entirely lance-dedicated. Of course, they might just have one promotion to Halberdier and the other to Paladin or General.

Or just Pegasi. I always thought that should be the case personally since pegasi are flying horses.

True. If they're getting that weakness, though, I hope Dracoknights stay weak to bows unlike in FE10; otherwise it would be getting really imbalanced against Pegasi in favor of Dragons. Not that it wasn't already with that system. The low damage Ziharcher does to one Dracoknight seems a bit concerning for that reason. On the other hand, it would make sense if this is just meant to balance them so they both have slayer weapons as a weakness in addition to bows and magic; in the GBA games, they all had the same weaknesses except dragon-slaying weapons.

Say, didn't someone say something about Dragons looking more like Wyverns, like in FE8? Has there been any clear difference between some "dragons" and others as to indicate the possibility of a wyvern class?

Wyverns are typically smaller dragons with no arms or just stubby arms. FE8 wyvern riders and wyvern lords had actual arms on the sprite, but the wyvern knight got it right by having an armless, serpentine look.

Okay, that seems to be the standard, then, maybe just to differentiate from dragon enemies.

This is from one of the videos, right? Which one?

So, is Tiamo the one with the black peggy? I know the black pegasus has a rider with red hair.

It looks like it which probably means she gets the black pegasus may be the result of a promotion branch. Though there's always the chance there's another red haired Pegasus Knight/Falco Knight since there are usually 3 per game for the triangle attack.(Though there is also FE2's Claire as a DLC charcter)

It's more likely Tiamo, though. If you look carefully on her model, there's the small white clips in her hair as well. I don't think IS will make another peg with the same exact hairstyle down to position of hairclips.
