Aneda followed Zach, a little pep in her step compared to the other day. "Finding Lia... You think maybe someone took her out shopping or something? That'd be hilarious." Aneda toyed with that idea, and it brought her giggles.

Davod continued to have a quiet argument with his selves before Faatina started mumbling in her sleep, to which Davod decided to try and parse what she said. "... Brother? Ah crap, I forget, did she mention a brother when we talked last time?" Hell if I know, I have a hard time just trying to keep you in line, I don't have enough time to remember things in your own damn memory. "It was just a simple question..." And that was just a rude response, your point? "Nevermind."

"Well I guess I'm her guardian now for lack of a better term." Zach mused "Anyways, she's an Artificial Human created by Cervantes for use in his cult." Hearing Aneda's comment about shopping reminded Zach of Lia's clothes "Actually we do need to take her out for some clothes, because I don't think what she's wearing now even counts."

"I can make her some clothes myself if you have the hide. They will fit perfectly as well and match my own. What is an 'artificial human' though? That... word... I do not know it. She looks weird, I can tell, is that what 'artificial' means? 'Weird?"

A Man Called Gar

"According to Shade Drake, artificial humans are humans born through magic instead of the womb, for the express purpose of being a weapon." Gar explained as he pulled out the green cloak that Raquel had made for him. "Here, if you take her into the city for any reason you can use this to cloak her until she gets some proper clothes."

Infirmary

"Merrrrrrrwho is that ...?" Raquel muttered, still mostly asleep. Within a second or two she was comfortable and barely responsive again. Reign had been waiting to see how Veronika would go about waking her, and so when Raquel didn't lift up, he leaned forward enough to give his left arm some room ... and then he slammed his elbow into the wall behind him as hard as he could. The wall wasn't as firm as he feared, and so the 'bang' was resounding and Raquel woke up with "Wha ... uuuuuuug." and immediately began to sway sleepily.

"Oh, good. That still works." Reign commented.

"Don't dent up the wall, boy. I've got to work here." the physician spoke up.

"What's going on?" Raquel asked once she realized she was in bed and probably not anywhere near the battle.

Galley

One of the cooks finally came out with a pair of large plates, both overflowing with bacon. He set one at each of the tables. "You'll have to get your own dishes; we're in a hurry here."

"No sweat! I can just use my hands!" one of the sailors called out in reply as he picked out one of the strips and tossed it into his mouth before going back to reading Shadrak's el tome. He got a bit of grease on the tome, and it did not go unnoticed by the young shaman.

"Get your grimy hands off my tome, barbarian!" he called out while struggling to reach him.

"Hey, now, those are fighting words~" the man restraining him teased. They honestly didn't care, having been called all manner of things in the past, but Shadrak didn't know that.

Dauntless

"The Dauntless' cargo's been taken out and then put back in a few toimes. There's was a gun rack, but I don't see it anywhere." Gabbie explained while scanning the interior. "It probably won't matter too much until she has more than a handful."

Docks

Having delivered the flowers in all their apathy, Mandy and Talitha rode down the streets heading toward the docks, with Mandy atop Summer, and Talitha atop Autumn.

''A couple things apparently,'' John answered. ''But first things first, you were brought to the ship after the battle. Sadly we didn't found much, only that the girl is an artificial the organization sent to the cult.'' That should probably do for a good start.

"Well that wouldn't be so bad Robin but I don't really carry a ton of fur around with me ya know? Besides the kid needs clothes as soon as possible." He said with a chuckle as he took the cloak from Gar "Thanks, I'll probably take her into town today to get some clothes. This will come in handy>"

"Another artificial? Like the ones we fought in Ursentius? What did you do with her ...?"

Good question. I've been here all night, so I honestly don't know. Reign thought to himself.

"Yeah sure, a woman's opinion is just what I could use. Heck all my outfits are this thing in either green or black, so I'm not really used to the shopping thing" Zach responded "Think we should bring along anyone else?"

''Well, we brought her back with us. She probably must be awake already, somewhere on the ship.'' John said. ''Anyway, also during the night, the Arena was attacked by ruffians. This is relevant to us since Faatina got involved and was carried back here by this guy,'' here he motioned with his head at Fred. ''And also, he's interested in joining us by the way.''

Connor

"Uh yeah it has gotten a bit messy in here," Connor said sheepishly. "To be fair the Dauntless isn't really built for being dropped out of other dimensions, under normal driving conditions things shouldn't shift around too much," he offered.

Veronika

"In more pressing news, Captain Bogdan informed me that the rebels may soon be closing in on the Leverager. We should decide whether to remain onboard or seek another ship. Staying here might be dangerous, but remaining on Tremere isn't necessarily safe either," Veronika cautioned Raquel.

Nadya

After brushing Riley for a while, Nadya noticed one of the pegasi seemed agitated. That's Bert's, right? she thought to herself, leaving some food for Raquel's horses as well as her own before heading to the infirmary. Bert's probably here- he was out cold last I remember. she deduced, heading inside and locating him on an empty cot.

"Rise and shine sleepyhead," she said to him, poking him in the ribs with her healing staff.

Infirmary

Raquel was about to utter 'hello' to the newest armored mercenary when Veronika brought her up to speed on the ship situation. For once she didn't just take the information and run with it and instead asked "Wait, how do they know the rebels are coming?" She figured they had either inadvertently drawn attention to themselves somehow or a message got out, but they were so far south ... "Are there spies here or something?"

Dauntless

"Hopefully Weyland can get us a realm crossing version once we get back ... that way we won't have to worry about the rough landings, anymore ..." Gabbie looked unusually serious when she said that.

When the food was brought out, Gytha's attention went to it, but she didn't want to eat without a plate, so she got up and hurried over to where she guessed the plates were stored. The chefs had told them to get their own, so she figured it'd be okay. Initially, she'd opened the wrong cabinet, but it didn't take too many tries before she found the plates and took two of them. Then, she hurried back to the actual food, passing a plate to Synthia as she returned. "Better take it while ye can -- there're some hungry people around here," she advised before filling her plate with a careful eye, making sure she only took enough to fill her up so she wouldn't feel hungry anymore. That finished, she seated herself back down and began to happily munch on the cooked strips of meat.

Norbert had remained unconscious through the night and morning. Well, as far into the morning as it'd gone, anyway. When Nadya prodded his side, though his subconscious registered it, it didn't reach his actual thoughts -- he was still out of it and clearly still hadn't recovered the blood he'd lost. That would take a few days, even though his unconsciousness wouldn't last that long. It'd likely take more than some light pokes to wake him up, though...

<So that was it huh,> John thought. <Looks like this isn't over yet. And now I see why they're departing at noon. But if so...> ''Well, considering they speed up repairs to be completed around noon, it means they found out while here in port, which probably means the crew of the Utka had a contact here in port, I take it?'' He guessed.

-----

Sophia laughed a little. ''I suppose so,'' She said, before turning to face Lia. ''We should be going now,'' she told her. Hopefully she won't get distracted by something else.

Veronika

"He's in the brig now. We're supposed to have made our decision by the time repairs are completed- which means we don't have much time," she said, looking at Raquel specifically.

Connor

"Or we could just stay right here on Sardius, that's certainly my preference," Connor said, heading back into the Dauntless as Sophia and Lia seemed to be done with the wagon.

Nadya

Man he must really be out. I guess I can give his pegasus food and water at least- someone's gotta take care of the animals on here. Nadya thought to herself, heading out of the infirmary to back down below decks.

"Well I guess that would be fine if Aneda wanted to come along, her choice. I don't have a girlfriend let alone girlfriends though, the cult and my planning sort of took up all my free time ya know?" Zach said back

"Really?" a shocked look came across Robins face. She had fully expected him to have found some new relationship with a woman in the two years he had been gone, or at least starting up one with some other girl, but to have no girlfriend at all?

"Yes, Aneda will be fine, good even, so long as she does not make Lia wear multi-colored clothing."

"And I'll go as long as Lia isn't wearing some silly tiger outfit~" she shot right back at Robin, "And besides, it's not like I go around advocating 'hey everyone, rainbows are awesome!' No, it's just a phase I'm going through. I like to express my individuality, much as you do, sound cool?" Hands on her hips, Aneda had a smug look on her face.

"Tiger hide? What? Ew! No! I would use deer hide or horse hide! If anything it would be a rainbow colored horse costume!" exclaimed Robin as the image of Lia dressed in a rainbow colored horse costume popped into her head. The thought of her prancing about, possibly flying through the air like a pegasus, struck her as so odd and funny she couldn't help but laugh.

"Phahahahah! Okay. Fair enough. No hide, no rainbows, or anything like that. Let us just head out and be careful. Your fashion and my practicality should be able to find something so long as we do not just dash through the market."

"Hmm," Raquel held her head low while she mulled over their options. On one side they had an expensive offloading and reloading fee that could easily double or even triple if they were foolish enough or too rushed to not find a new ship in advance. Another ship might not take them as close to Ursium as they needed to go, and another transfer would mean more transfer fees. It could add up pretty fast if their luck didn't hold. On the other side, there was the threat of facing off against the very people they were trying to keep the dragons away from. Fighting their hired muscle was one thing, but she had a feeling if they really wanted those eggs, they were going to send enough ships to recapture the Dark Utka, and destroy the Leverager, and do so with enough force and initiative to have minimal losses on their side. "How many ships would ... that take ... ... at least five ... or maybe six?" her thoughts began to slip out in parts.

"You want to take out two galleons, you send at least five medium weight ships or three galleons and some siege range magic support. You want to shut them down and shut them up in the first volley, you send two line ships with standard escort and some dragon support. Latter is the Neviskotian variant if I recall correctly, so the rebels might use it, too." Reign assessed with his hand on his chin. "Could be wrong, though. They might just try to 'capture' both ships using high speed interceptors and some well trained boarding specialists."

"Do they know about the Leverager?" Raquel asked.

One of their smuggling ships got captured; they have to know there's two ships they're looking for. Sure, you can ditch the original ship and transfer everyone and everything to the smuggler ship, but that's just a waste when you've still got a week's headstart and at least one rebel free route back to the west.

Loading Ramp

Once they arrived at the Leverager's watery parking space(yes, parking space), they dismounted and tied up their horses to the dock poles. There were some crewmen hanging out by the loading ramp already-waiting for breakfast-and they waved to the two women ... and one of them whistled. Mandy was somewhat receptive, if not a bit bashful, but Talitha tried to glance off in some other direction. "Hi, there! Is Faatina here? Or maybe Shadrak? Any of those ring a bell?" the former asked, waving her arm at them.

"Haven't seen'em since we got out here. Ya don't wanna stay here and talk with us?" the man replied feigning sadness.

"Awww, maybe later. For now, is it okay if we head on up and look for them? We're from the Warrior's Guild. We're just checking up on them and maybe asking them a few questions~"

"Oh, alright ..." he conceded flirtatiously. And they were heading up.

"Oh hey, there's one of our challengers from yesterday." Mandy noted as they reached the top of the ramp.

"You didn't deserve to have that much fun." Talitha repeated.

''I suppose it's a matter of time,'' John said. ''If that guy wasn't the only contact in the port, they might as well already be in the process of finding out what happened, if not already. On the other hand, they'd still need to deliver the message, and then come back with the ships intended on the recapture. Unless they have them relatively nearby, there could still be enough time to get away before they can intercept.''
