Let's change that. + I will be using Wil, Lowen and Dorcas. Also Sain, Heath, the lords, various prepromotes and possibly a couple other guys. Possibly including Guy. + I will not attempt to rank anything but Tactics, which I want an A in but will settle for a B. + I'm going in mostly blind to HHM's bullshit. + Getting every sidestory. I'll pick this up when I'm out of Lyn Mode. Wish me luck! Oh, yeah, first, recommend a decent number of units to use throughout the game. I've heard HHM has bloody spartan deployment. Harken's filler for lategame, not really a TRAINED FROM WHEN HE WERE JUST A MITE unit. Raven's an angsty little bitch with a boner for his sister. I don't find those attractive character traits. In which I realise I should've trained Matthew, but I'm indifferent towards Matthew, so no. Well, I like the guy, but... he's competing with Legault, and four strength isn't... particularly much. Humiliatingly, Matthew bites it to a knight because I'm not fully paying attention. However, in the next run, the archer gimps himself in defence and is a lot easier to take out. Even so, I'm preeeeetty sure the way to handle that wasn't to grab the chest, trade the vulnerary to Matthew and then rescue him. FWOOSH While these idiots chase Hector, on the final turn I grab this Lockpick out of spite and then hack down Wire. Victory in nine turns! I could get used to this. Tomorrow, because that was a tiny and pathetic chapter and I'm very distracted, the LP starts proper! ... Actually fuck it, let's make it now, because... THIS MOTHERFUCKER RIGHT HERE. Oswin... don't try my patience. I sorta want to use you but you'd be a move behind everyone else (Hector is getting the boots). I love Hector's animation, but I really wish he started with an iron axe. ... Okay, maybe I did overextend myself just a bit. Dorcas is hacking through the universe pretty well. Rebecca's five damage on the same foe? Not so impressive. Turn Three... my dudes are weathering it pretty well. ... Well, relatively well. Oswin doubles back to kill the mercenary who's eating Matt and Serra, Hector cowers, Marcus hacks everything into a bloody pulp. Having camped in the forest left of the brigand for most of the map, Hector finally breaks cover for the final charge on Zagan. Oh... oh my. Yeah, THAT ain't happening. ... This is kinda sad. Because FE7 has a boring and shit earlygame I'll throw a final mission into this update. I'll add stats post C16. This is after a strength level on Zagan. Someone kill me. It bears mentioning that this cavalier is -3 luck, -1 con, +2 HP and +1 res on Lowen. Or +8 HP, +3 strength, +1 speed and +4 defence on Rebecca. Fuck Rebecca. AUGH WHY Then Rebecca dies to a pegasus because I don't check enemy ranges often. I'm just lucky Dorcas is a fuckin' whirlwind of righteous 1-2 range death right now... MY VILLAGE, MOTHERFUCKER. See, I've always hated this part coming up. But, you know, sticking Marcus on that fort and letting enemies melt on him? Wait, they all have two-range. Aw, fuck it! CHARGE! I never knew that could happen. Oh, well. I WAS only testing that with a savestate, because I was curious. The mine ends up trapping the bandit anyway, so it's all good. I AM UNUSED TO 8 STRENGTH GUY BUT IT PLEASES ME. I just wish he'd dodged that iron axe, is all... ... then the north sort of explodes. As does Rebecca. I swear those fucking cavaliers aren't there on lower difficulties! I reload my mine savestate. I mean, hell, it's THERE. ... Then I step on the fucking mine. BRILL. Somehow nothing dies. For a turn, anyway. Then Eliwood bites it, or Matthew, or Bartre or someone. EVENTUALLY DROWN IN IRON, SERRATED SHAFT. Next time; Merlinus. I... I think this will end in a Marcus charge. ... THIS IS THE EXACT POINT AT WHICH I ACCIDENTALLY HIT TO LOAD A SAVESTATE. I'm I'm going to kill myself I LOST A DORCAS SPEED LEVEL. Ugh. See you next time.
