ragnell.
I found some capybara in the market and just made it with rice, the problem is that I did not like it ( I can not stand my own food). Guess I will feed it to my parents when they come.
Freohr Datia
I hardly cook many things at all, but when I do, I always make sure it's something I like x3 I lose interest in doing well at all if I don't even like how it tastes. Samias
I once buried my dinner in the yard it was so bad. I will stick with Kraft dinner, take-and-bake pizza and instant ramen for the rest of my life.
Just call me AL
Sounds like you need better cooking skills. Maybe reading a cookbook and/or watching a cooking show (such as Emeril's Table, or America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Country) can help. As for my answer to your question: Yes. I do eat my own cooking. Granted, some of it doesn't turn out as good as I would have hoped, but I do try to help my folks (namely my dad) with the cooking from time to time. ragnell.
^ I am thinking of doing a basic course, I am sick of the same food almost everyday and no one in my house knows how to cook. Basically we eat to survive

Hash Jar
I love cooking. Cooking something delicious and then eating it is rather satisfying.

Vicious Sal
If you use poison... I also happen to be an adequate poison tester, I have to incorporate the daily antidote to Butterfly Dust in my meals to not die a very painful and slow musclewrenching death. Vicious Sal
wots the hardest thing u have cooked? I reckon a spiced cake with caramel-fruitsauce, and then having one of those crazy choclate orbs with like five different ice creams inside. Amazing to see, shit to make. Samias
On a more serious note I can cook out of cookbooks but fail at improvising. I rely on my better half to cook dinner since he is actually good at cooking.
Excellen Browning
I've been cooking my own meals for a year now and only twice have I found myself throwing away the stuff I made. The last time was an attempt at risotto that ended up burnt badly, along with very undercooked meat. Jotaro Kujo
I hate cooking, but yes, I do eat what I cook. Even though cooking is my bane, I can make omelets and spaghetti really well and I do know some different ways to prepare eggs and stuff. What I really like is baking. I don't know why I prefer to bake rather than cook, but I do. I can make pie, cake, bread, cookies, and gingerbread houses from scratch. Original Alear
I can't think of anything I have ever cooked that I have not eaten at least some of. There are many things I've cooked that I haven't eaten all of, but those were mostly things But, once or twice I've gotten prepackaged food where the instructions don't seem to mesh well with my microwave/oven and I end up not eating much of it because I can't get it to come out well. Oh, and once me and my bro were making cookies and we didn't put in enough flour and they came out tasting a bit softer (and were good). But, we didn't have a good grasp of what different combinations of basic baking ingredients would create, so we thought there wasn't enough baking soda (pretty much the inverse - I already had too much) and added some in. The next batch was disgusting and got tossed. The coolest thing I can make is baklava but I'm not as good at making it as my dad and brother. (I barely ever make it) Edited September 12, 2012 by L1049
riariadne
I tend not to cook because I'm bad at it and don't want to put any effort into getting good. ;/
Dark Sage
I pretty much never cook but I know how to cook basic things like pasta. I'm not a particularly good chef though.
