Fateborn
the only real thing that is missing are lesbian besides... Shiori already seems a little bit lesbian with fa together so i don't see a problem Pls Alfred :> You could argue Fa x Cattleya. I ship that more than I ship the si.... uh... that's a spoiler, sorry, more than I ship Fa and Shiori. I means... ince... uh... that sort of relationship is wrong. The Baelstrom should lay eggs, like the Gorgons in Chapter 18 of SS. Just sayin' (since mating is the least horrible thing that it could do) flashback to hundred of hentai with egg laying scenes. /cry blood. Are we talking chestbursters here? ...You should have kept the Baelstrom quiet Alfred! What have you started here?

Hmmm. . .I have no idea how hard it would be to code, but. . .imagine if a unit dies, and then it "replaces" the dead unit with an egg. Oh, imagine the mayhem~! I dunno about you guys but the last human spider THING I ever saw was THIS .image.jpg (hope I did that attacment corect and if anyone wants to Tell me how to put that in a spoiler tag please do.) and its ugly as HECK SO yeah male monster please. The werewolf thing (I forget who said it and what the monster is called) sounds kinda cool. The Contessa? Yeah, she was a despicable villain all right. Probably one of the tamer monsters though, when all's said and done. For spoiler tags, use <spoiler> (replacing < with [ and > with ] - I've changed the symbols to avoid Serenes mistaking this for a spoiler) to start, type whatever you want to hide, then use </spoiler> (again, replace < with [ and > with ]) to finish it. You can also set a subject by adjusting the opening to read <spoiler= Insert subject here>. So: <spoiler=The Contessa> Nasty villain from Sly 2: Band of Thieves</spoiler> shows up as [spoiler=The Contessa] Nasty villain from Sly 2: Band of Thieves By the way, it's usually better to upload pictures to a separate site (I use photobucket) and use IMG tags to display it here. Serenes doesn't give you much storage, and images will eat into it quick. <IMG>Image link here</IMG> - same symbol substitution. Example: <IMG>http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y451/WaywardWinds/FE%20Hack%20-%20Echoes%20of%20the%20Mist/Prologue2Sceneonly6C00A36E10X15_zpsbc8433a3.png</IMG> (Serenes has auto-shortened that address) Becomes: Edited April 21, 2015 by Wayward Winds

EvictedOne
Then we ended up with this massive, uber awesome conversation full of prodigious brainfood. Congratulations! Someone earned their brownie today! And now we're all gonna be swallowed by the digusting thought of our bodies being replaced/turned into spider eggs. Oh god WHY?! Wayward Winds
I did try to be the voice of reason for as long as I could, but there's just no resisting some things....Anyway, Alfred? If you're still taking level ideas, I've got another concept you might be interested in.[spoiler=Don't worry, no squick potential here]This idea works on the basis that there's a powerful force somewhere off map that you would rather not fight. Said force is looking for you. You need to seize something/defeat a particular enemy, and you've got the usual array of opponents already. But this other force is going to turn up and wreck your day if it gets wind of your position. At certain points during gameplay, either turn based (probably easier to code given that I don't know of an "X turns after event Y" condition) or when you reach certain locations, a scout from this other force arrives on the map (a low leveled flier or hoofed unit). You've got about two turns to kill him, or he'll vanish from the map and go to report your position. If this happens, a couple of turns later some much more powerful units spawn where the scout was and actively start chasing you down. These reinforcements shouldn't be impossible to beat, but they should be a serious threat. If someone thinks they can leave the scouts alone then powerlevel from the reinforcements, they should at least have to take some serious risk - undroppable Brave and Killer weapons. Throw in a flier or two, and they can worm their way around the physical barricade units and hit the healers. Basically, something you can't just cheese for exp (Hmm. Better yet, if that 0 exp trick from Dream of Five can work on FE8, use that).Plot connections? You're sneaking into the DK's lands and don't want to face his OP centaur things. Or the king of Lazulis has ordered his most elite force to find and destroy you before you bring the fighting any closer to his capital. Story justification is the easy part. TornadoGenerator456
You know I did have an idea about a hack there is this big map and the only enemys are summoners (can't spell) but instead of just normal old phantoms you bring phantoms with res def and health give them more weapons that aren't axes and make it so the summoners can still summon even if there summoned phantom is still there. Because the developers put those nerfs on the phantom to prevent him from cheesing entire chapters. So having one of these summoners would be broken as hell. Silith13
Or like one character appears early in one route but later on the other and another character in visa versa. (Like Geric and Cormag in FE:8)

Of course if you were given summoners you wouldn't get the OP ones you would get normal ones. That being said I think we should give a name to our unit. Anyone thinking archsummoner? Or the king of Lazulis has ordered his most elite force to find and destroy you before you bring the fighting any closer to his capital. Story justification is the easy part. This is very sweet, Ashley! I like the concept. I'll probably use this for ch.13A/B. Thanks. You know I did have an idea about a hack there is this big map and the only enemys are summoners (can't spell) but instead of just normal old phantoms you bring phantoms with res def and health give them more weapons that aren't axes and make it so the summoners can still summon even if there summoned phantom is still there. That's not doable because the enemy AI doesn't know how to summon. Question for Alfred: will there be route-exclusive characters or characters made drastically better by choosing one route (a la Gonzales)? Yes. A couple characters will be route-exclusive... well, partially exclusive. You know, like FE8 did with Duessel (Ephraim exclusive) or Saleh (Eirika exclusive). You normally get all the characters in either route, but for those ones, you'll have to wait for ch.15, when the two groups reunite. As for some units being stronger... It may be that some of them appear later, meaning that they'll be some lvl higher compared to the other route. But I'll balance their stats accordingly using the average stats sheets I made some time ago. So, there won't be any nonsense like a lvl 12 unit in Shiori's mode that gets recruited at lvl 15 in Fa's route with the same exact stats (it gets 3 autolevel ups, basically). This applies to Shiori too. Since she'll appear in Fa's route in ch.15, she won't be at level 9, but 16. And so she'll also have her stats adapted. Do you want to help? I need a few animations, so if you can sheet and/or script any of these, it'll be highly appreciated! Of course I'll give credit. - Mageknight (M/F) with swords. - Valkyrie (F) with swords. - Barbarian (some sort of berserker riding a bear, using axes and a staff with a skull on it)

Blademaster!
it doesn't summon phantoms, but I guess you could use the same AI maybe I know that if the player uses the demon king summon it just summons enemy units still, so maybe even if you get the enemy AI use phantom summoning, it'd still just load a player unit phantom. I think the Demon Knight summoning is documented on FEU but I don't remember if the non demon king one is which might create a few more hurdles. Alternatively what you could do for summoning is just attach a specific event id to a unit death quote, make them be a summoner in the chapter, check if that event has passed every turn/at a specific turn, and then just load units to emulate the effect of summoning so long as they aren't dead. The problem with this is if you want the summoner to move and still summon units in the right spot, but even in FE2 I don't think enemy summoners would move? Edited April 25, 2015 by Blademaster! Book of Ereshkigal
That's probably just a flashy ambush spawn. It's a 'skill' you can apply to player units, IIRC. That, and doing so(summoning, I mean) ends the Demon King's turn. That, and it's not even an ambush spawn as the monsters don't move until the next turn.
