MarkyJoe1990
Next episode is up! And I managed to credit Gabriel Knight for Alfred Kamon's portraits.
TheWill
If I recall, Gabriel done the weapon icons and Arcfalchion done the portraits. I think it's better if credits are done after the playthrough when you're giving an overall synopsis of your feelings on things like characters, graphics, music and the like. Siuloir
Eh... fair enough. You aren't the first one to point out that it's the lack of experience that explains poor gameplay in hacks, and I don't have a strong argument against it either. Just for clarity's sake It wasn't my intent to use this to invalidate your argument - Merely attempting to shed light on another facet that might have been overlooked. Nanami Touko
Alfred explained the use of Vassal in his hacking topic, as opposed to Vessel. You can ask him about it, but he definitely use the right word. He did his homework.

Eh... No worries. I have a lot of respect for you, and I know you don't have any ill intent behind your posts. Alfred explained the use of Vassal in his hacking topic, as opposed to Vessel. HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
honestly mark, i do like your style. its about one of the few things that prevents the fire emblem hacking community from becoming a hugbox where romhacks never improve because they lack critique. Zhoaer
Hey Marky what do you use to record your videos? I've been messing around with Fraps and Camtasia.
MarkyJoe1990
Oh? You wanna know my incredibly convoluted but totally free (sans microphone) method of recording and editting videos? Here ya go! http://markyjoe1990.elementfx.com/?page=faq#VideoCreation Edited June 2, 2014 by MarkyJoe1990
Zhoaer
Holy crap that is a lot more stuff then I thought using just Camtasia or Fraps both provide good video they just make VBA produce some static.

But it gives me perfect video quality, records at a good fps, and the editting software I use is way more efficient and precise then most commercial video editors. It may be worth your time to get it just cause it is all free.If you decide to learn avisynth, I'll be happy to send you my custom filters. Zhoaer
I'm completely confused by how SCFH DSF works I can't get VBA to appear in the "Select Process" menu. Edited June 2, 2014 by Zhoaer
MarkyJoe1990
I'm completely confused by how SCFH DSF works I can't get VBA to appear in the "Select Process" menu. You need virtual dub or some other process that has a video capture feature in order to use SCFH DSF. When you get virtual dub, go to file -> capture AVI. Then refresh the SCFH DSF "select process" menu thing. Virtual Dub should show up. You record with Virtual Dub, and SCFH DSF simply tells it what to record. I think the tutorial covers what you need to do afterwards. MarkyJoe1990
[Area] - Area Selection... Uh... I'm not sure what... You mean SCFH DSF's area select? If so, that's not resizing. Let's talk about this over PM or skype. This is derailing the thread.

MarkyJoe1990
As requested by a few people, I'm showing off the other endings to Chapter 2, and a small amount of updates Alfred made after I recorded. Special thanks to Alfred for also recording the alternate endings for me when I forgot to record the game audio for my own footage. >_<
