I freaked out about something (I can't remember what) sometime before that point and Baldrick wanted to modsub me anyway, so ... Also, even if we followed Prims' plan, I'd say that we were plenty fucked anyway. I don't particularly like "weak" roles if the person with that role is allowed to out who he is targeting. If scum doesn't shoot that person immediately, or if town doesn't plan ahead in advance, then that person can go on and clear people easily. I recommend just not including weak roles in your set-up unless you balance them OR make it so they are affected by godfather/miller and informed of such.
