I think the problem was that I went to editing, I clicked the "edit the poll" bar instead of edit the opening post which somehow led to the mess from yesterday. In any case I've figured out all the problems why the polls were going heywire, so unless if the computer i'm on suddenly explodes, there should be no more issues.
