What should Sakurai do next?

  1. 1. Now he's finished with the current game, what will he do next?

    • Spend time figuring out how to fit Ridley inside the next Smash disc
      8
    • Reboot Donkey Kong Jr. Math
      4
    • Team up with Hideo Kojima for "Mario and Solid Snake at the Olympic Games"
      10
    • Find another way to nerf Zelda even more
      9
    • Bask in the glory of all the salt he's created from DLC

If you're interested in playing a Kirby game, you should start with Nightmare in Dreamland, Anacybele!

Uhh, I said I wasn't interested. :/

Jave: This isn't the topic for that, but I'd be glad to PM you a list of the games I like from every genre, if you want.

Considering how many posts of yours I've read regarding your taste in games, I know of at least one genre you've never played.

But whatever, deep down I'm not interested. Let's go back to talk about Smash.

Settle down guys, we're not trying to shove games we like down anyone's throats here.

As far as the topic of Sakurai deriving things from the hacks and such goes, I don't think we can expect to see much of that. Even if Sakurai DOES follow these fan-projects, I'm fairly sure he wants to give us something we've never seen before as well. It'd be nice if we DID get Ike having blue fire or something, since that's actually a thing in the games, but who knows? We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I agree with you, Banyru. Nintendo doesn't really take ideas from fans, and if they do happen to use ones that they came up with, it's by complete coincidence. And I'm sure Sakurai isn't excluded from this.

But yeah, now I really want blue fire Ike. :D

I get that a lot of people know about Project M, and I heard the developers are making a port of the most recent version for the region, so it's (going to be?) playable there, but I haven't heard how much real exposure it has had outside of the west (or North America, if that)

Considering Brawl+ which was what Project M was spawned from was getting some good attention in Europe (ask Shin about that one.)

I'd think it has some worldwide knowledge

So I can officially get hyped as hell, god damn that is a good line-up, even if I never played a starfox game and I have only played bits of Metroid fuison I am still happy to see them back, especially if the 3ds metroid is 2d, if the conference gets my hipped I might buy a WiiU around christmas.

highly doubt it since Nintendo doesn't use the red logo anymore. They've been using the grey logo since 2006.

^^^

What this guy said. That and this lineup seems a tad too fanservicey to believe.

Then the person who made this deserves to get punched in the soul.

No one jokes about a new starfox. I've been waiting for 9 years count them 9 years.

It's not confirmed, didn't you read anything above? xP

That's a riot coming from you. Always misinformed always misunderstanding almost always making judgements before you get any information

You don't get how long I've been waiting for a new starfox game. I've been teased with fake pictures and titles for the past nine years Not to mention getting a starfox game that is even less of a starfox game then Adventures (I loved adventures) and a remake which doesn't count in the slightest.

I feel your pain. I've been anxious to know where they will go with the series now after the utter mess that was Command; I really, really want this to be true.
