"I'm with the group to the North fighting off the brigands. I looped around this way to help clear out the South-East while the others tackled the main force to the West... well, I dunno if with them is the right word, we were all staying at the local inn when these guys appeared and we decided to fight them off. You guys look military, are you the official response?" Lenora replied, sheathing her sword as she spoke. Last thing she needed was to be considered a threat and detained, or worse. "If you don't particularly mind, I was hoping to let the villagers living here know that at the very least, this area is clear for now." Thankfully, he was able to move to a blind spot of sorts, where he'd be safe from stray arrows. He let out a chuckle, ready to ruin someone's day. I can understand not completely taking me at my word but I'm starting to think she has a grudge against me already." Lenora replied to the Captain, the first cavalier to have appeared getting in her nerves. Either way, it would seem there was no point in trying to deny them. That in mind, Lenora made her way up to the others fighting the brigands, stopping next to another sword wielder. "Aye, looks like we've got some military backup. 'Course, whether they think all of us are a bunch of looters or just me, I don't know." Lenora noted to the rest, arriving just in time to watch a bow-wielding brigand get blown to shreds. Guess I'll help my share." Helen spoke quietly to herself, feeling like doing something other than being a crow picking out weakened foes, the group gained some trust, anyways. Helen charges to (11,8), attacking the adjacent Mage (10,8) and distancing herself to (12,8) afterwards. At some point during his stab he'd closed his eyes, opening them to find success. He laughed, and felt so on high that he didn't notice the soldier charging at him until the last moment. A quick turn dodged the lance, but it put him on awkward footing and his return missed the man. "Shoot! No matter. Let's try that again!"He couldn't say he was enjoying this, as he hated fighting, but he was enjoying how well it was going. Ashoks stays put and attacks Soldier B! Helen flies to (5,8). Flying away from the focus of battle, Helen reaches the unguarded house far at the west, as a bearer of good news. "Excuse me, I bring news of combat. The bandits have been all but contained in here, the fight is almost over and citizens won't be in danger soon enough! Her speech fell on nothing, as it was clear that this was an abandoned house. The furniture was upheaved and broken, and the entire place was a mess. It had clearly already been raided. As she was walking out, her foot clipped something and when she looked she saw a ring on the floor. She shrugged, picked it up and stashed it, and walked out. Helen got an Energy Ring (+1 to Magic)!
