Well it was known he was getting a Mega Evolution due to someone getting his stone, but the guy didn't have an Aerodactyl on hand.

An alternate evolution to Dragonair is pretty doubtful.

Fire/Flying attack from a Fire/Flying Pokemon versus Parasect with Dry Skin:

(Dry Skin weakness to Fire) x2

(Bug weakness to Fire) x2

(Bug weakness to Flying) x2

(Grass weakness to Fire) x2

(Grass weakness to Flying) x2

That's a good x32 multiplier, more with STAB.

YEAHHHHHHHH

you forgot x3 nasty plot

and the sun

Is Morpheus a different pokemon? Or is it just a Gengar mega evolution? Either way, it looks cool.

I'm hoping I don't have to play to the end of the game to get most of the Kalos pokemon. This is starting to mak me think that I'm going to have to get through a large part of the game with mostly just previous gen pokemon, which I'd rather not do.... :(

I have no idea. When my mate sent me the picture of Morpheus he said it was Mega Gengar, and the two do have similar faces. A pokemon's name doesn't change when it mega evolves though I think, so I have no idea

I think for dual-typed moves, whatever is listed as the 'primary' type (Fighting in the case of Flying Press) is what determines STAB. The dual-types in the description (Fighting and Flying) are damage effectiveness. So for Flying Press here (copy-pasted from another site where a user calculated it, and ignoring STAB)

2x against: Fight, Grass, Normal, Ice, Dark
1/2x against: Electric, Poison, Flying, Psychic, Fairy
1x against: Rock, Steel, Bug, Dragon, Ground, Fire, Water
0x against: Ghost

I'm trying to figure out how Goomy could possibly be a dragon....all I see is a blob with antennae.....

And does this mean that pre-ordered games can be out earlier??? Or are they just promotional empty boxes on shelves? I really want my copy sooo bad right now...

Goomy.

His name is Goomy.

I just came to terms with Chestnaught.

Auuuuuuuugh...

Also chestnaught has eleven letters and oddly enough no other OFFICIALLY revealed pokemon has more than ten.

It's bothering me.

And now that I've calmed down over Goomy, I really hope he gets a cool poison/dragon blob-ness to deal with the inevitable fairy conquest.

Otherwise he'll probably suck.
