If it's the latter, isn't the person who posted "aren't those interchangeable" essentially right? If I can be allowed to muck it up further, what about pretty guys/hot guys? Are those interchangeable concepts? Are they even concepts which have manifested to begin with? I know I've heard the phrase "hot guy" before so surely there are "hot guys" out there somewhere, but hold that thought because is on my tv right now and screw you guys. They're kind of interchangeable I guess, but "pretty" is more polite and can refer to simple beauty whereas "hot" of course refers to more sexually stimulating material. Of course a person can be both at varying times. A woman in her wedding gown is pretty, and that same woman in a miniskirt is hot. Like that, I guess.
