After a Hyper Mega Launcher + G-Bits combo, Zengar's HP is in the red!

Which also means Guts kicks in. You know, considering things, it's a good thing Zengar has Guts instead of Prevail, even though Guts is technically useless since Thrudgelmir is more to tank than dodge, and the HP Regen means it won't stay active for long. Prevail would've made him much, MUCH, more tougher to take down. And most likely for another reason...

As luck would have it, at low enough HP (how much exactly? don't know, all I know is that it could be as low as 5K HP from 55K!) an alternate event triggers, which is NOT what I want.

Zengar still had around 9K HP left. For the coup de grace, I send Voltes V to do the Choudenji Ball V no Gikiri, supported by Moonlight Butterfly. Good thing, since Zengar survived the first attack with about 700 HP left. Which means that...

YES, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I DID IT. I BEAT ZENGAR!!! Got the skill point, and...

With the Thrudgelmir defeated, it's not long before the Machine Cells begin to repair it. However, the beat-up actually knocked Zengar out of their control. Once he realizes this, he's now willing to go against the Ancestors. He knows it won't make up for everything, but he's willing to escort the heroes deep within the Cradle to stop Magus. And thus, he leaves the map.

If he hadn't been defeated in this chapter and back in Chapter 40, or his HP had got low enough without defeating him, he'd die instead after coming back to his senses (and most likely this is his default fate in the Medium and Easy paths as well). As you can guess, this last secret was recruiting Zengar. Of course, he's not joining just yet.

Well, I have a turn and a half to rout the remaining Belgelmirs if I want to. I'll try to do so. But that's for another day. This was too much... too much for one day... hahaha...

Istanbul was originally called Byzantium and was later known as Constantinople. It was only remained Istanbul in the 20th century.

Istanbul was Constantinople
Now its Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople

Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobodys business but the Turks

I'd say... SRW R's final stage was much more manageable... lol

And seems I was wrong. The final boss did had a Super Repair Kit... in its 2nd and 3rd forms one each, go figure.

@Trisitei If we look at his Lunatic stats to figure out his stat spread, Valter could end up with 43/32/31/35/19

Meaning that with his lance and Fury, he'd reach 43/37/36/38/22 which is pretty impressive. He'd need 1 more damage after the recoil to enter desperation range, which if he's under the effect of Hone/Fortify Flier, would leave you with a unit that has a 59/42/44/28 spread all while having a killer weapon effect. Sure he's not a DC unit, but he'll probably be pretty good regardless.

The stat spread could vary, but it would likely be 1 less point in Spd or Atk, which aren't enough to ruin him IMO.

Now thats a good thing
I always felt lacking on spear units(Flying Spear units i mean. Camus is a beautiful man, regardless of giant hands)
Good thing Valter might fill that niche

as well as giving hope to future units i would like to see like Altena or Dean
Can't wait

also did you see that Reddit already pieced together the Hero Fest units?

wow i totally thought it had started being called istanbul in 1453 when it fell

Istanbul started becoming a popular name for the city during the Turkish rule of Greece, but the name wasn't officially changed until after the Turkish War of Independence.

Actually, me and some other SF peeps in the stream thread were able to do it as well. I only noticed that reddit had did it after we'd figured it out ourselves.

Someone figured out Genny and Ike and I figured out Ninian and Julia.
