They were the words spoken by Elendil as he came to Middle-earth after the Downfall of Númenor. They were spoken as a token of great sadness felt over the loss of Númenor, his home, and home to many things of beauty and greatness besides. The "oath" was repeated many millennia later by King Elessar at his coronation, but this time with a very different connotation: it sounded like an oath made by the new King to protect the peoples of Middle-earth. To be honest I liked Robin's art a little better, but I chose Corrin anyway because I liked her more to begin with. I am actually happy Gaius made it to the finals because I liked his character too. I'm on team Gaius for the feathers, so I'm glad Gaius is getting destroyed by Corrin because of all those sweet multipliers. And Corrin's damaged art is something else...
