Freohr Datia Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Hmm let's find facts from my old subject of study Weeeeeell anyway even though Mt. Everest is the highest mountain, it's not the tallest mountain. The tallest "mountain" on earth is Hawaii's Mauna Kea. Mt. Everest has the highest elevation (so, compared to sea level), while Mauna Kea isn't nearly as high above the sea level. But from base to the summit Mt. Everest is (from mauna kea's wikipedia page~) 11,980 to 15,260 ft (3,650 to 4,650 m) tall and Mauna Kea is 33,100 ft (10,100 m) tall~! I'm not sure how many people know this or not but I feel like some people get the wrong impression when they think of the height of mt. everest compared to the height of the hawaiian islands and it is up to me to inform them otherwise ^o^ Even though I'm probably the only person interested in this~

I just never took time to rethink anything about mt.EverestDid you know that you can see the great wall of China from the moon.
Parrhesia Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Sadly the Greece/TF2 thing isn't true according to the google searching I did. $50 million as of 2011, $283 billion.

I'm sure anybody could come up with that on their own except people probably don't usually think about it I learned in college that that is completely false, maybe I still have the book on me? I'm not sure...

That is a myth.

Original Alear Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Did you know that you can swim in lava, but only once.I dont think anyone would last long enough in lava to swim in it.Edit: besides, like, wesker.
Knight Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 You can't actually swim in lava, despite being a liquid it's too dense and not viscous enough to actually be able to swim in.
