She thwapped the end of her staff into his cheek out of displeasure at his carefree state, huffing and placing both hands on her hips. "Honestly. And there were still the sounds of fighting outside, too. None of this looked particularly pleasant... swiftly beheading the first man to attack her, and after kicking her body aside into the pool, rushing the man behind him, bringing her axe down. The corridor's only exit was straight up ahead, where a brute with an enormous axe struggled against his chains. So overall, they weren't in the best spot. Moving towards him was certainly dangerous, but waiting him to break free and trap them was suicide. Going forward was the only option. Claire to (7,12). Aaaaaaaaaaaaand scratch that idea. Run away! Here, let me help you undress..." *SMACK* "AH- " Cass' staff brought Doug out of his fantasy and back to reality. He jerked up suddenly, only to be silenced by the crack of his back. Apparently, falling from his mount had caused him a major injury, the kind that would need time to recover from. The pain had caused Doug to lay back down; he blocked out whatever Cass was berating him about. All he could think about was this this wasn't such a bad position, even with the copious amounts of dung beside him. Whatever soothed his pain. Then the roar of Baleros signaled that the giant was coming his way. Doug found it ironic that he was saved from drifting to death in his unconscious only to watch a more gruesome one come barreling towards him. He caught sight of his pegasus Oldtimer flying around the room. Thankfully, he was no longer raining poop all over the room. He'd have to reconsider feeding him leftover beans next time. For now, Doug whistled, causing the pegasus to calm and land at his side. All the rider had to do was get on and fly away. In order to get on, Doug had to get up. But any jerk up caused intense pain.
