Raven
1. Why are ships coming out of the base? 2. Would you play a Senran Kagura game 3. Have you played any shmups 4. Are you excited for Pokemon GO 5. Are you excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon 1. A quick Google search tells me that ships are coming out of the base because there a bomb has been planted in the base. I'd imagine people are trying to escape from the bomb. 2. A quick Google search tells me that I would sooner fap to Senran Kagura than actually play it. I do not spend money on my fap material. It is unlikely I will ever actually play this game. 3. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. 4. Not really; the only spin-off Pokemon game I have legitimately owned and played was Pokemon Pinball. 5. Yeah, out of a stale of 1-10 I'd say my excitement level for these is a solid 7.8. Ask me more Ace Combat-related questions EmFox, you know you want to and I know you can. --- I will return in due time to answer the remaining unanswered questions. Raven
Had some more questions. Just hadn't gotten around to it. Okay... time for the Impressions Questions! 11) impressions... do you do any? Like voices? 12) what is you opinion on impressionist art? 13) how does one leave a good impression in general, in your opinion? 14) have you ever struggled with depression? (Not necessary to answer if uncomfortable) 15) ...and I guess original/current impressions of me? 11. Yeah actually, I think can pull off a Solid Snake voice. I can also mimic some Pokemon such as bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pikachu, Mew and Charmander. And Slowpoke. And a bunch of other random shit I can pull off that isn't reference to anything in particular. 12. A lot of the stuff is really nice. It's not photo-perfect but I don't think that's the intention. Quite a bit more interesting to look at than your average lifelike painting, I think. 13. This ain't easy to answer but I think it has a lot to do with how agreeable you are and how likeable you are. With this in mind, you will never leave a good impression on everyone because you will never have an opinion that everyone will agree with. Despite that, if people have a good enough reason to like you because you are a nice, kind and selfless chap then it can become easier to overlook disagreements you have with them about whatever. Being understanding and talkative without being oppressive or acting superior is generally good too, I think. 14. I'm not sure. It's not like I ever went to a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with depression or anything. But the lowest point of my life was during my last year of A-levels (16-18 years old, normally). I fucked up the first year of my A-levels pretty badly, so I basically re-did it, and ended up doing 3 years of A-levels in total. Anyway that's not the point, that's just context for my explaining how I was in my last year of A-levels and 18-19 years old during the time. I was in a relationship with a girl a year younger than me for 20 or so months, starting from when I was 16 and she was 15. I'd known her since primary school, so when I was 10 and she was 9, where we were kind-of "boyfriend and girlfriend" for a few years but just in a kids/friends way, for lack of a better explanation. When we were both in Comprehensive school (11-16 years) we kind of slowly drifted apart, primarily due to the stigma that follows a person for going out with someone in the year below them. Anyway I was 16, just starting A-levels, and I was writing Christmas cards for friends in school when I debated with myself to write one for her, too. I did, but never gave it to her. Instead I made contact with her when school started back up in January. We began dating. Things were good for a long time, about 20 months to be exact, and I was in love. I was determined to make her happy and make up for the time where we'd previously drifted apart. I began socialising with her group of friends more often and less so with my own. The end of the second year came along and as I mentioned earlier, I was doing a third year of A-levels whilst my own friends finished their 2 years and moved on to find jobs or go to university. Just less than 2 months into that school year (begins September) and we'd broken up. She had always liked this other guy, and recently this other guy had told her his feelings for her. He was in our group of friends too. Anyway she was with him for a few weeks or something, before he split with her and said he was gay. She was heartbroken by this, probably how I'd felt when she ended it with me. Hey and I were still friends to some degree because I'd now integrated with her and the same group of friends. I tried to stick it for a while. Maybe she'll one day come back if I show I still love and care for her. Anyway I somehow began dating a girl a month after our break-up, she was very nice and I could see us going somewhere. To be honest she was probably just a rebound but that's not how I felt at the time. That lasted about 2 weeks before she called it off. Found her flirting about with other guys on a night out around town literally the same day she'd finished it. But I think that was hardly relevant now that I think about it. It was always about my first. She would continue a few other relationships during the remaining time of school. So by the end of the school year she'd been with me, and at least 3 other guys, over varying lengths of time. Bearing in mind this is just one year after my Great-grandfather had died on 15th December 2006. he was like my father figure and I still miss him after nearly 10 years. During the Christmas break I had nothing to do, and fell into a habit of walking to Tesco's at about 11pm, picking up some beers, and get back home before midnight. I would then drink and play games and internet all night until I either crashed out on my bed or fell asleep in my computer chair. This habit continued on even when school term started in January 2008. My attendance dropped from close to 100% to just over 50% total by the end of the school year. I would set my alarm for school but ignore it. Going to school would mean seeing her. She was on my bus stop to school so we were always on the same bus, getting on and off at the same stop. She was in my art class. She was with the friends I'd inherited from my time with her. I drifted apart from most of them as a result of pushing myself away from her. As the saying goes, damned if you do, damned if you don't. The end of that January was the time I'd joined SF as a recommendation from one of my online friends at the time. I don't think I realised it much but I just hardly gave a damn about myself and my school life, and wanted it all to just move on. I did wonder what things would be like if I ended myself, but I am not the type to do this. I cared too much about my family. Particularly my Grandparents who had already lost a baby Grand-daughter 6 years prior, and my Grandmother's father just a year ago. I would never do such a thing to them, so I continued living. I just wanted to disconnect for the majority of my day, forget about my situation, my love for her and the fact that I'll never get her back in my life. I should have carried on with my school life and try to focus on school, but I simply could not stand to be in the same bus, the same class, with the same group of friends as her. It was torture for me to try. I continued on like this, attending school when I needed to - exams and whatnot - but I ultimately did rather shit in the end. The university course I applied for (full 3 years) had a foundation year (1 year extra prior to the 3 year main course) that had way lower prerequisites to enter. I received a message that my university placed my application into this foundation year before the official A-level results were even released. I was a bit puzzled, I'm sure they knew. But I was also relieved to no extent because I would have otherwise failed to attend university if it wasn't for the foundation year. All the exams had finished, and I was still doing my usual shit throughout the extended summer holidays, waiting for the A-level results to come out. I eventually got them, received confirmation that I was going to Glamorgan University, and moved into their halls of residence mid-September. The next 4 years would be the best time of my life thus far. tl;dr: probably maybe i never checked 5. As I've said with other impression questions, I've not got a lot of time in with many newer members joining after 2010. However what I can say is that you're a pretty down to earth guy with his head screwed on right. I see you posting around and from what I remember you always add something insightful and valuable to the conversation. Good to have you around, for sure. I'll continue my answers later. Got a friend over right now and we're going to do some gaming.
Raven
OK time for a huge push to answer everything else asked that's unanswered: 6.Favorite Bond movie? 7.Favorite Disney movie? 8.Favorite Shakespeare play? 9.Favorite Queen song? 10.Favorite Harry Potter Character? 6. For me, it must be GoldenEye. It was the first Bond movie I watched as it was released in '95, when I was 5/6 years old. Pierce Brosnan, to me, will always be somewhat special for taking my Bond virginity. But I am also really enjoying Daniel Craig's Bond. I can't wait for his next three. 7. Big Hero 6, no contest 8. I haven't read many, but I would say Romeo and Juliet. We studied that in great detail during my English classes in school 9. Don't Stop Me Now. 10. Hmm tough one, but I must say that I enjoyed everything involving Sirius Black. Both in the films and the books. favourite city in the smelly USneverThat's what I intend to do with those horns dude. Is that a question? Not sure, but I have only ever visited Orlando, Florida. I would love to visit Los Angeles and new York, though. 6. How hype are you for Ace Combat 7 7. What's your favorite plane to use in the Ace Combat games 8. Who is your favorite wingman 9. Do you think Project Aces wrote themselves in a corner with Ace Combat 3 10. Have you tried Ace Combat AH+ with the amibo yet 6. Like I will never spend the money on VR goggles but I'm still pretty fucking hype for AC7. WE BACK IN STRANGEREAL. But I hope the voice acting will be better than it was in the promo video we got. That was kind-of cringey. 7. Call me a Mobius One fanboy, but it's got to be the F-22 Raptor and its different variants. Or rather, the Faptor. 8. Chopper. I never tired of his chatter and witty rebuttals towards AWACS Thunderhead. I felt something wrong would happen when he called himself Razgriz 3. May he rest in peace. 9. I must say I have not played AC3, but I assume you're referring to the fact they wrote it in the somewhat near future, limiting themselves to what they can write for stories that may take place before it, then yeah I think they've fucked themselves quite well there. I would be quite happy with a retcon of AC3 if it means that it will give them more freedom to make great stories in Strangereal. 10. Nope. I don't own AC: Assault Horizon Legacy +. I don't own a New 3DS or the amiibo scanner that works on standard 3DS models. 1. Hey? 2. Have you ever had paella? If so what did you think of it? 3. Which of the seven virtues do you think can do the most harm to a person? 4. Which of the 12 zodiac (east or west) that isn't yours, do you like the most? 5. Are you a better leader or a better follower? 1. Hello? Is it me you're looking for? 2. Yes I went to Spain a few years ago actually, and the paella dishes were pretty damn neat with all the seafood and the rice. Full of flavour and shrimp is just great, even on its own. 3. I assume you're talking about these so I'll answer based off this. The one that I think could do most harm to a person (themselves and/or others) is probably none of them. All the virtues I'm reading about here are nothing but positives, and wouldn't affect themselves or anyone else in a negative way. While I don't think all of them would necessary bring positives to a person's life (e.g. abstaining from sex) it's certainly not a negative thing, either. 4. My West zodiac is Pisces since I was born on 8th March, and I think Scorpio is pretty cool, as scorpions are pretty badass. My East zodiac is Snake as I was born in 1989. I'm conflicted in choosing what's my favourite because sheep (Welsh are sheep shaggers), dragons (Welsh flag), and dog (DOG). 5. I think I can do both. If I feel I didn't have the time or knowledge to lead, I would much rather take a back seat and follow someone else who knows better. But if it's something I am good at and enjoy doing, I can bring others to follow my example and instruction, also allowing room for individuality where and when a strict method isn't necessary. 1. Have you played the older FE games? 2. Are you familiar with Tolkien's works (The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings etc.)? 3. Do you cycle? 4. Do you speak any languages other than English and a bit of Welsh? Would you like to learn more? 5. You mentioned something along the lines of you'd like to be in the police force. Why is that? 1. I played like about 3 or 4 chapters of FE4 and I kind-of-lost-interest, for some reason. But I've played every game past FE6, aside from FE12. 2. YES. The movies, at least. I saw each LotR film as they were released in cinemas with my Grandmother, and we're doing the same with The Hobbit series, too. Very enjoyable. 3. I used to cycle a lot as a kid, say 11 and younger. It became a lot less frequent, and now these days, hardly ever. Cycling machines inside a gym count? 4. Aside from English and minimal Welsh, I know some Polish. It's fucking hard. 5. This is what my university course was all about, essentially. When I was doing the A-levels and didn't know what to do with my life afterwards, I was looking through University courses to apply for. I picked "Police Sciences" on a whim, not knowing what else to do. But I've always had a sense of justice and to help those in need. The course was essentially "Social Sciences" with law aspects related to policing, as well as policing methods and interactions with the public, victims, criminals, other emergency services, and the media, with some criminology and forensics in the mix, too. It was a rather varied and interesting course. I'd have liked to follow it up with a job within a force, but it's not that easy since the application windows are tight, and you can't apply for more than one force at any one time. It was simply easier to pick up another job outside the field. One day, if I get the chance, maybe I'll start looking for these windows of opportunities again. 1) When we go to a pub together for drinks, what do you buy me?2) What do I buy you?3) Would you smooch a ghost?4) Spiders: great invertebrate, or best invertebrate?5) How many roads must a man walk down, before they call him a man? 1. Ah a familiar question, and everyone will get the same answer: Whatever you would like! 2. You may buy for me a pint of Erdinger, assuming the place sells it. Failing that, some sort of wheat bear. Failing that, a regular pint of any beer will do me fine. 3. I would certainly give it a try. 4. Interesting you should mention spiders because I have a rather interesting story to tell during my first year of university about one. I was sitting about at my desk in my dorm room doing internet and gaming stuff, and I see something absolutely tiny on top of my speaker. I take a closer look and it is one of these: A Zebra spider. No bigger than half a centimetre wide/long. The picture may look scary but when you see it you'll think it's the cutest little fucker if you see one for real. Now I don't think I have arachnophobia but I generally dislike spiders, particularly large, hairy, fast ones. But this was cute and tiny. I have never seen such a thing before. I went to put some paper under it, so I could put something like a glass over it and chuck it outside. As soon as the paper touched its front legs... HOP. The fucking thing disappeared and I absolutely lost my shit. I gave out a rather deep manly shout of surprise, jumped from my seat and made a swift dash towards my (open) door. I couldn't see it on me, so I started looking everywhere around the desk. Nope. The walls beside the desks. Nope. I then went to my friend in the next room, asked if he heard any many yelps, he said no, much to my relief. I repeated the story to him up to this point, and went back to my room. I looked up at the light, and the little fucker was just sitting on the ceiling, nearby the light. How the fuck did it get up there in like 10 minutes? I got up on my chair to reach it, put a glass around it which startled it making it fall into the glass, then put paper over the top then chucked him outside as originally planned. That was a fun day, and I learned that jumping spiders were a thing in the UK. I'll say spiders are the best invertebrate as they catch annoying as fuck flies. 5. The road where a person finally finds his meaning in life and the desire and means to achieve his goal, you may finally call him a man.
