Shadow Mir
Hard to work with until evolution because of Truant, then it becomes decent. Once it evolves into Slaking, it gets amazing stats, but whoops, Truant keeps it from being great. 4/10 because Truant sucks, and I mean really sucks. Edit: Never actually put in the work to raise a Slaking, but out of curiosity, couldn't you cancel out truant by using only moves that must recharge, like Hyper Beam? ...Nope. You're still stuck doing nothing the next turn regardless. Why people continue to think recharge moves and Slaking go hand in hand is beyond me. TheVinceKnight
Well because your going to skip a turn anyway, you'd may as well use Hyper Beam, right? Make use of that stupidly monster attack. Too bad Truant doesn't help anything else. Skill Swap with your Slaking. I dare you. A lot of points that have been said are relevant and I don't need to say them again, 5/10 +1 bias 6/
Elieson
Skill Swap and Gastro Acid laugh at you, oh king of Slak. Boss stats over truant, which sucks monkeyfeet. 6/10 for scoring OHKOs like, a lot on wild pkmn.

WRT Skill Swap: By the time you get the TM, Double Battles aren't really prominent enough to really make it worth considering.

Unfortunately, it's much worse. It also has a wide TM movepool, but Wigglytuff is even slower than Clefable, and has a cruddy Sp. Atk stat too, as well as shitty defences. It has quite high HP, but that's really about it. 5/10 for early joining and movepool. Edited June 29, 2012 by BigBangMeteor
Elieson
Draws all over faces, and a mythical giant pokemon that soothed the souls of various angered beasts, but only decent in battle with its access to use a shitton of moves at mediocre - decent at best. 4/10. Early, if at all.

MacLovin
7/10 Kadabra is great, but a glass cannon. And low variety of moves is derp.
Ema Skye
Pretty much a faster, stronger and much frailer Gardevoir. 8-1 = 7/
FrostyFireMage
7.5/10. Abras are hard to obtain and you have to teach it TMs or baby it before it can even be usable. But when it fully evolves it becomes a monster with epic Special Attack and Speed.

Venusaur
It's kind of a shame that this doesn't have better stats, it gets a massive movepool. But, it can act as a kind of Jeigan with Mega Punch, I guess. Having to level it up initially to Pound is a pain, too. 4/10, with no bias. No Growlithes in Platinum, unless you trade one in or use the Dual Slot thing with Fire Red. Edited June 30, 2012 by Venusaur

Ema Skye
It's start is bad, since it will only know Sing. I believe it takes 6 levels for it to learn its first damaging move, Pound. Yeah, not a good start. If Clefable was being criticized for having low offensive stats, then Wigglytuff's are even worse. 70/75/45 are pretty pathetic for a final stage Pokemon. 140/45/50 defenses are very lopsided, but Wigglytuff should be able to take a hit. At least its movepool is very large. 3.5/10 - Comes underlevelled (Lv.3) at a point where we're still trying to build up a team, so it is somewhat of a liability in the beginning. MacLovin
mediocre, but useable and can evolve soon after you get it with the moon stone. 4.5/

Shadow Mir
6.5 (7.5-1 bias because I'm not very fond of trade evolutions)/10. It has to be switch-ground until it evolves, which is a serious headache. Its low move variety doesn't help it... That said, it's fast and powerful.
