"Trying to attack people over such matters, especially ones that barely involve you..." Any attempt at lecturing the man was interrupted by a sharp poke at her back. While it was hardly any trouble to her, it was still worth addressing more than someone who didn't even bother trying to hit her. Fine. He would go first.

"Damn" said Constance. It still won't open. There's too many people on the other side. "Stand back" she warned the people on the other side. "This door is coming down."

No sooner things escalated, a familiar face breaking through one of the church's window. Furthermore, some peasants thought of breaking the entrance's door. "For crying out... We should've made the ceremony back home after all, the commoners would answer to me for such a mess. I'm truly sorry, Cass." Owen sighed, was it so hard for things to go their way on these matters? "It would be a shame if your dress got torn or dirtied over this, sister. Leave the sticks and shovels to me."

As if this mess couldn't get worse, the sound of glass and the sight of their lovely, murderous friend, made Cass realize that socking peasants was not her top priority, right now. With the door breaking behind her as well, she grimaced. "Owen, I'm sorry!" She'd have to leave him if she was going to get up there to stop this mess in time.

As the man lashed out at her with his shovel in response to her assault, it stung. It stung quite a bit, but that didn't stop her from beating the man unconscious... and taking a few more swings at his unmoving body with the bludgeon, until more peasants approached and took their shot at her. Really, she would have killed someone to have an axe on hand... and used said axe to kill some people, for Adeltrudis was beyond done with the citizenry of Raewald... perhaps Ethel would offer them the services of her executioner, she did seem ever so fond of using him liberally, after all.

Speaking of executioners, however, as Adele's head whipped towards the sound of a shattering window, she couldn't help but swear. Why in Belial's hell was this woman here? Now? And while dealing with these peasants might be possible with this chair as a bludgeon, it certainly wouldn't be good enough for Arteria.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck fuck fuck!" The young noblewoman continued to swear, as she sidestepped a particularly threatening woman with a clothes iron, and swung her bludgeon at the woman's face in response. How cathartic.

Unfortunately, if Cass was going to stop any murders from taking place today, she'd have to leave Owen to the horde amassing behind her. Sidney was there, she'd keep him safe... Right? Right... She had to hope that Sidney could. Arteria was, of course, getting dangerously close to turning this into a red wedding, and Cass' legs just wouldn't move fast enough.

"ARTERIA!"

Blocking a shovel and catching a rolling pin, only to shove it back in that peasant's face, Cass had to keep moving forward. None of these fools were dying today, and none of them were stopping her wedding!

"If it's blood you want, then come paint my dress! The masses have nothing to do with us!"

Cass to 9,10, casually heal Serge as she goes

The healing light from Cassandra's staff revitalized Serge to more acceptable standards, with some of the bruises he received disappearing off of his skin. He would have thanked Cassandra, had she been paying attention, though she was more focused on the murderous pale woman near the altar. There was still no way Serge could take her on, so instead, he opted to continue the first task of defeating the peasants that were so rudely interrupting the wedding.

It seemed like everybody had their hands tied as well... well, it was time to stop complaining and get good.

"I'm sorry, dear, could you get the medicine I've been saving in my pouch? These shovels are pretty hardy." Some painkilling would be very welcome right about now.

Owen takes the vulnerary from the convoy, uses on self.

"Hey! Cass, wait!" And Sidney was clearly too late, the princess rushing off after... that sword woman again. That's not going to end well... But, she didn't have time to think about it much, as peasants kept attacking her, especially after the door broke. "What are you idiots thinking?! How dare you say this union is what's desecrating the cathedral as you're destroying it! Disgraces to Engel's name, all of you!"

Still, she only got hit once, and Owen was in a lot more trouble. ... Dear? "Of course, Owen... we'll show them who's really in the right here, won't we?" She reached for the medicine in his pouch, resisting any thoughts of reaching anywhere else, and applying it to one of his wounds.
