What if person likes a little fantasies that don't align with their clear sexuality and gender?

Then said person is very confused about their sexuality, and probably a repressed homosexual.

No--they're sexually attracted to men and get off on watching men being overtly sexual.

Same reason why straight guys watch lesbian porn.

I don't think a female is suddenly a lesbian if they like FlorinaxLyn.

...if you appreciate the pairing and think it makes sense based on their characterization and interactions, that says nothing about your sexuality.

If imagining Florina and Lyn having hot lesbian sex arouses you, you're sexually attracted to girls.

EXAMPLE: I think Lucius/Raven is a good pairing. I ship it. Its organic to their characters. They obviously have a close bond. Raven being the top and lucius being the bottom makes sense, for what should be obvious reasons.

I don't find the idea of Lucius and Raven having gay sex arousing, because I am not gay.

If you find the idea of Lucius and Raven having gay sex arousing, you're attracted to dudes.

That's um... interesting. I'll be honest, you're actually speaking my language with all of that evidence and stuff.

Dumb homeschooler question: does it count as asexuality if you like, or are even obsessed with girls and everything about them, but are turned off by the concept of sex in particular?

Asking for, um, a friend of course!

no its probably not asexuality if your turned off or grossed out by female anatomy. It would be asexuality if you didn't care.

Asexual men are like 1970 Pontiac Firebirds.

I have no particularly negative feelings toward them. But whenever I find one I get an amazed sense of Wow. They still make those?

But then what if you think IkexSoren is a good close relationship, and you think the exact same of Lucius and Raven, but you find the idea of the former couple being sexual together unpleasing to yourself, but you like the latter couple together sexually and get off on it? Does liking one couple sexually mean you're gay- but then that suggests a one-drop rule where any gayness overrides any straightness/asexuality? What if you concurrently shipped IkexLethe and got aroused by frisky feline fun?

And what if a straight guy focused on Raven on the top as the man and saw Lucius as a substitute for a woman? They could be imagining themselves wanting to be Raven, but with Lucius standing in for a Lucia? Think on this- for centuries men had to play the role of women in Kabuki. Does that make any Kabuki romances gay just because it is literally two guys in love?

Insofar as sexuality is nature over nurture, and sexuality is both, a Roman Emperor was not gay/bi in the modern sense of the word, since modern Western sexual identities originate in the 1700-1800s and carry a modern cultural baggage the Greco-Roman world lacked, I can see a reason why human evolution and that of any species would permit asexuality. Asexuals do not spread the species's genes because they do not reproduce, but if they devote themselves to the betterment of offspring within the species of others, then ultimately they are helping the genes of the species continue to exist into the future.

Gay or bisexual.

No; the bolded and underlined part does.

If you want to imagine yourself having sex with Lucia--straight.

If you want to imagine yourself having sex with Lucius--gay.

If you don't care whether its Lucia or Lucius--bisexual.

Oh, I think the female anatomy is wonderful! I just don't tend to sexualize a specific asset of it over another... which is kind of creepy. I mean, if you're a girl, and I've seen your face, I've basically seen the part of you I care most about. Making you effectively naked... or something like that.

Eh, there's nothing wrong with liking one particular part of the anatomy in particular.  Most people who attracted to women aren't attracted to the vagina itself, but rather the boobs, butt, thighs, etc.  The vagina is just what comes into play when it's time to do the act itself.

Some people would be considered heteroflexible, meaning mostly straight, but occasionally leaning or dabbling in homosexuality.

OK, so here's a question you guys might enjoy answering: the majority of men seem to pursue romantic relationships for the sex. How well do you think you could survive a virtual relationship with no IRL, physical aspect?

I would disagree with the first notion. Lots of men do, sure, but not the majority.

As for the question you ask, do you mean like, a long-distance or strictly online thing?

Any romantic relationship without a physical aspect.

Temporarily without a physical aspect with the understanding that at some point in the future we'd meet in person and physicality would be on-the-table, or indefinitely without physical aspect? And would this purely virtual relationship include nude pics, phone sex, sexually explicit use of webcams...anything of the sort...or is it entirely asexual?

Basically what I'm asking is do you think a happy, fulfilling, long-lasting romantic relationship can exist without sex/other physical contact. No sexual stuff exchanged between parties. Is it possible? Would it be possible for you?

Yeah, it's possible, it happens. I mean, there gets to be a point for most people where they just aren't interested in sex anymore. Some people just aren't interested in it, or can't engage in it for whatever reason, from the beginning of their relationship.

As I am now, I wouldn't be interested in a relationship without sex.
