It did have a variety of interviews (which I would say is not exactly all that uncommon in the magazine world but you certainly wouldn't think that Playboy would) Fahrenheit 451 was serialised in it the year after it was published, and there was a period where they went out of their way to publish fiction stories in the magazine, Stephen King absolutely tried to in his early years. Naturally, it doesn't really come up as much of an avenue nowadays, or for a lot longer than that. And neither does this change what Playboy did usually (And no, I have never had a copy myself.). I mean I do like “a little challenge”, and hard is for people who find normal lacking, but how will I know if I find normal lacking without playing it? Genius logic. I'm equally as surprised as you are, but apparently, it is very much a thing. As far as I've heard, it's because that character and her faction are the most popular in Japan, so they get shilled a lot by being presented as the best thing since sliced bread, and completely overshadowing the other characters.
