That moment when your family is considering taking eachother to court.

Er, wait, that isn't normal, huh?

Been there... wait, no , I refused to testify in that.

'Morning, all.

Sorry for your loss, Draggy. If there's anything at all I can do to help, please just let me know.

Hey there, Benice!

And thank you! Just keep being yourself!

Happened.
Though in my case, it wasn't actually a bad thing.

Can imagine it sucks when you have an otherwise normal family, though.

I'm now nearly done with my current run of VS1, and apparently, this track actually does play once in VS1!

It plays in this scene (Marked with spoilers cuz Endgame)

Spoiler

SPOILER_Screenshot_951.png

The theme is basically a "reunion theme" of sorts; it plays when Cyltan comes back here to help Zade, and then when Zade and Laurec meet up in Ch6 of HSoS. Cool, if you ask me.

Also, Sheela now has 17 strength. So blessed!

That reminds me, I still have that Champion's Mark from Ch5. Didn't use it on Cezar despite wanting Haggler. Maybe I could reconsider it for a bit.

If it's divorce issues, then I'm afraid it is all too common. Unless it's something more... complicated, let's say. Then I don't know.

It does have that vibe to it.

also very common: inheritance disputes.

Taking people into court isn't what they mean by courting someone.

Ahahahahahahahahah... I never get tired of these dumb jokes, I swear.

Yes, that too. Nothing says brotherly love like fighting over dad's money. I suppose in that respect I can consider myself lucky that I'm an only child...

Speaking of inheritance disputes, these are a very underused conflict-starter in FE.
How interesting would it be, if we had an FE game where protagonist and antagonist are just kids of a king who passed away before he could name an heir? There's some potential for intriguing interpersonal conflict and political intrigue, there.

Or just any story in general, really. Doesn't have to be FE, but I think the FE template would lend itself well to something like this.

That would be pretty interesting!

After having to live through my parents' divorce (technically), an inheritance dispute would just be the icing on the cake.

But then my brother and I aren't on that bad of terms. Yet, at least.

But where would Dark Cult and dragon plot destroyer of doom fit in that?

That said, yup, it could work.

Yeah, that's a really neat idea that would be awesome to see explored.

That's exactly a plot point from the FE romhack that I want to make. A shame I don't have the talent for that.

The cult wants the winning heir to make a child with his love interest in order to revive their (Dragon) Demon God.

I remember the FE-esque story I wanted to make did had that as what a country was facing for a succession crisis. And countries all over the continent had interests to turn it into a proxy of their own larger conflict.
