It's certainly of it's time and I can see people not being up for the jokes it makes. I would say however it's cracks at the church as an institution at the time they came out may have had more impact than anticipated and it was well accepted here when it did come out and in the years afterwards, though I haven't rewatched any of it in years. It's a shame that one of the showrunners is a TERF, though that is not something shared with pretty much anyone else involved from what I can tell (Though it's easier when several of them are dead). And that's an open question worth considering for works that are finished, especially ones which you're likely getting access to through less legal means as I don't even know who has the US streaming rights.
