I don't think anything in the game 100% resists it but there are times where Monado Purge just does nothing and it can get you killed very quickly. When i fought the one story boss that can do that, i just switched to Casual Mode and obliterated him. I was supposedly playing Mission 13 already, except the map was completely different. Full of snowy/icy mountains, canyons/valleys also snow-blanketed with rivers coursing through them, and flowing from waterfalls. It was really gorgeous. Though the dream got heavy on the number of planes around, hahaha. Groups of like ten planes at a time. They were also pretty good, flying low in the valleys then climbing up parallel and very close to the waterfalls. Also too many choppers... and for some reason biplanes. They didn't had lock-ons, but could still be gunned for points. Hmm.... The text never makes any sense because the translation is god awful. So if you are reading the tutorial on how to play, it sucks. They gutted everything fun about MMBN3 and took almost all the good options away from the player. Dont get me wrong. I love MMBN, but this one is just not that great.
