I had the impression there might be a little more on-foot dungeon before I got to that. I knew the battle was coming, and I know some of its results, because of my endless foresight. That actually made me await the encounter with some eager anticipation (despite being well-informed chocolate bod in XS itself was hurt by the series being cut short). Without any gameplay cushion to ease me back into XS narratively before getting to that awaited moment, it was jarring, my anticipation was a dried residue of what it had been, not what I had wanted. If only I had mustered the will months ago to play on the tiniest bit further. Then it would've probably been at a far better break point.🤨 Nonetheless, I want to resume XS and finish it, so I have no choice but to pick up from here. But... I'll give myself another day to get over this sudden mood, my body's chemical composition might resemble a Gnosis's right now realizing my inopportune luck.
