Just like a Jagen should, he is a great crutch. He can tank well, but they have enemy surprises with Ridersbane and chain attacks just for anyone that thinks "Let's send Jagen forward to tank" Etie in her join chapter has exactly enough power to one shot the fliers. In the chapter after, she's 3 damage short from doing so....exactly what Alear's personal is for Armors are the only ones who can tank, and they CAN TANK. Like finally. Add to that the whole no break thing and they finally have their niche. Oh, wait till you start playing skirmish.. All kinds of achievement pops up while you stuck figuring out the optimal strategy Because the skirmish all are ruthless. Places to grind? Hah! Granted, the enemies are spread evenly, also everyone got low MOV in this game. but still, failure to clear the waves means... you know the rest. Battle Saves is nice and I'm used to going back to the title screen anyways but with all the QoL they added, would've been nice. Edit: or have the Retry option ask if you want to do it over from the last save in addition to just repeating the whole thing.
