  1. http://feuniverse.us/t/enemy-control-glitch-fixes/1621 Literally 2 bytes were messed up when FE7 was developed, seriously. That's the technical why, as the game returns unexpected values when you reset when a mine goes off, so the game doesn't really know what to do with it so it lets you control the enemy
  2. If you were playing on the Wii U's Virtual Console, the Online Shop functions offline, but in regards to cheats for emulation, I know they exist, but the only one I have adds EVERY item to your inventory so...
  3. Anri slayed Medeus 100 years before Echoes, not 1000 498– Anri, a youth of Altea, a developing town in a remote region, obtains the divine Falchion sword and slays Medeus. 605– Medeus is defeated by Prince Marth, and the Dolunian Empire collapses.– End of the War of Shadows (600-605). Echoes occurs in the year 605 in the Archenean calender, further evidenced by people who fought in the War of Shadows in FE1 appearing alive and well in Echoes and referenceing that very same war https://serenesforest.net/general/timelines/ The full timeline is right here, Duma =/= Loptyr
  4. Duma is a Divine Dragon, Loptyr was an Earth Dragon before he became a Book Spirit thing. Ergo, they are not the same dragon because they are both different species of dragon
  5. Horses for mounts have HP and thus can die if exposed to too much combat. You buy new horses with gold in the stable for mounts inbetween maps. As for Berwick's game quality, it's basically Kaga Tellius, the plot is very reminiscent of FE9, and while the game's mechanics try REALLY hard to not be FE after Nintendo's reaction to TRS, it still feels like FE at it's core. It's really ahead of it's time in a lot of ways, doing things FE wouldn't attempt until 3DS FE like it's skill system or My Castle Berwick's thing isn't called My Castle, but it's the same idea. The big thing that makes me unable to recommend it at present is that if you can't read Japanese STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM BERWICK AS POSSIBLE. It is NOT friendly to someone who doesn't understand the language unlike TRS or Vestaria where basic FE knowledge can get you thru it in Japanese. Thankfully, the guy who did TRS's English Patch is making a translation for Berwick now, so if you're patient, you should be able to have a good time with it.
  6. FE1, 3B1, 11- The basic plot structure I guess, being easy to pick up and understand is a nice thing for storytelling. Being designed with ironmanning in mind FE2- This had a plot?. Multiple armies, TRS does this better, but it's technically not an FE game so... FE3B2- The Show don't tell, I love shit like this and OG FE3 is bursting with it. FE3 Manaketes FE4- The Scale. Having a legitimate home base on the map FE5- How personal things get. Capture FE6- The Lord's strengths and weaknesses being shown thru gameplay. It's simple structure gameplay wise despite still having legitimate and fair challenge FE7- the characters, the rest of FE7's plot is very mixed to me, but I love me it's characters FE8- Nuanced Villains. The World Map traveling FE9- The attention to detail regarding character deaths, I mean, DAMN. Bonus Exp FE10- Having the Multiple Armies fight each other. That's both my picks FE12- ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FE13- Multiple Arcs, Pair Up FE14- Character's dying in the story. My Castle FE15- The sheer amount of dialouge. Command based skills. Berwick does command based skills better, but again technically NOT a Fire Emblem Game BONUS ROUND TRS- Interweaving the story into the gameplay. Being able to choose who goes in what army Berwick- Can't understand Japanese so no comment. Horses being a resource Vestaria- See Berwick. The weapons having a Brawl Minus mentality design.
  7. Regarding Archer Faye, the Echoes dev team flat out admitted that was due to communication issues with the Heroes devs/them just wanting another Bow unit
  8. Is the Binding Blade a Falchion? No. What the Binding Blade IS tho is the FE equivalent to a Nuclear Warhead. Remember, the Elibean Divine Weapons are flat out STATED to cause a Nuclear Winter, something not even FE4 with it's lolwtf Holy Weapon stats could claim, and Binding Blade is stated to be superior to those two. The Binding Blade can kill Duma because it can kill Divine Dragons. Lucina's Falchion can not because it is not exalted yet while Marth's and Alm's are. The same holds for Ike's Ragnell and Corrin's Yato, that Ragnell hasn't been blessed by Ashera yet while Corrin's Yato hasn't been made into the Omega Yato yet. In short, is the Binding Blade a Falchion, no, but it is canonically on the same level if not outright superior to it.
  9. Bride Lyn's Level 40 dialogue: "Oh, sorry. I was staring at you. You remind me of someone I know Kiran. My husband? You're kidding right?" Hate to rain on your parade but...
  10. That's a far better way to put it than I would, ngl. Shadow's game, while I hate how it was structured, was my favorite 3D Sonic game until Generations for reasons even I don't understand, and honestly, playable Shadow in Forces has me more excited than anything else so far in Forces I've seen. Still, game looks hype.
  11. Who you give the Afa's Drops to appears there, always
  12. Accurate summary of my thoughts on the overall marketing of this
  13. literally just insert it yourself, not that hard
  14. Eliwood x Lyn and Hector x Flo makes Roy x Lilina much more poetic imo so I go with that.
  15. I hate FE12 with a burning passion and I adore FE3 as my favorite FE, so my opinion here should be obvious
  16. Where is the gun tho Ngl, as someone who considers Shadow's game a guilty pleasure, I'm more looking forward to this than the base game
  17. FE3 Book 1 has neater mechanics and looks nicer than FE11, but has less content overall and a worse translation. FE11 is more in line with modern day FE titles than Book 1, but comes across as more generic because of it. I personally prefer Book 1 myself fwiw for its FE3isms, but I can see why people prefer FE11
  18. Least Favorite is FE12 so I guess here's 5 things I do enjoy about it Wrys It's fan translation Tho I don't hold the support convos themselves in high regard, I appreciate them being there BSFE maps I do appreciate having the ability to play a harder version of my favorite FE Which brings me to... FE3 is my favorite, so here we go The map design, in particular 3 and THAT DESERT CHAPTER Its really slow. This can be fixed by messing around in the options menu, but the default settings are so slow Its fan translation is garbage It's way too easy And BY FAR, my least favorite thing about the game that for some unGodly reason, was NOT fixed in the remakes, ONLY Marth can visit villages
  19. https://ux.getuploader.com/FE4/ I got both of them from here. These patches go on Headered Roms
  20. Let's not forgot Berwick's Apostle Sanacia who cannot hear the Goddess's voice. There's also a certain something hidden inside TRS1 I will always find curious, Elincia. This isn't a fanmade portrait in TRS's style, this was found in the first game's files. On topic, having played the Japanese version, I can say I'm pretty damned hyped for this
