So basically eclipse and bluedoom will be the only ones around during phase end...maybe.

I guess at least we won't have a last-minute lynch, lol. Speaking of which...shouldn't we get some discussion going on here? ...I say, while having no ideas for discussion yet...

5am here. I would probably be just waking up in time.

discussion, you say? Well allow me.

Paper is Mayor. He always is

Serious discussion. Let's play a game. it's called popcorn, where we go around revealing info abour our role. Nothing big for now. It's gonna work in stages.

Stage one: Everyone posts whether their role is active or passive.

Stage two: Announced when stage One is complete.

I have an active role. Next?

@Elieson- why?

##Unvote, ##Vote: Elieson

That is information which benefits the mafia a lot. It lets them automatically cancel out people who are not high priority targets like the Doc and the Cop, while also letting them know who they probably don't want to target yet. On the other hand, very few town roles care about whether someone's role is passive or active.

And how do we know if everyone is telling the truth?

We don't. So even if someone claims a passive role and then ends up on a Watcher report, it doesn't mean they are auto-scum because they could have a good reason for lying. On the other hand, if the mafia kill someone who said they had an active role, but end up having a passive role, whatever, it's one town down for them anyways. I guess if it was like the Bomb or PGO or something similar, it might hurt them, but on the whole they're helped more by it.

Though I'm not sure about the rest of you kids, personally I'm hesitant to give out info about my role because, at least in my case, it'd be more helpful for scum to know anything about my role right now than town. I don't think Elieson is scum because he asked this, because IMO I think the scum team would be afraid of raising suspicion to themselves so early in the game. I think he's trying to create some discussion since this thread has been pretty quiet so far.

I am kinda curious about who each person's character is, but that's because of theory I'm developing more than anything else.

Wut. How does this help us at all, this just gives scum hints at who the power roles are. I don't want anyone to start outing info about their roles for no reason, and I don't plan on doing so myself either.

This is your fourth or fifth game, right? So I'm not willing to write this off as a newbie mistake. ##Unvote, ##Vote: Elieson

Okay lets do it this way, yes their are doubts on if someone is lieing or telling the truth, but normally town won't lie. Now, next, elieson just stated it as an idea because, well, NO ONE IS TALKING. I don't think he's scum at the moment nor do i think the idea in its self is a bad idea, especially since it's only active or passive as an answer. This tells mafia nothing except for yes who doc and cop might be under. However there are power roles that are passive as well. Now I would like to point out reacting poorly to something as small as this has been something scum tend to do in these types of games.

So whereas we don't actually have much info, I don't think elieson is scum, it's not how he has acted previously in his past games that he was scum in. And from most experiences I've had people that act like Subieko, BBM, and Helios are acting right now tend to be scum. Being overly suspicious and quickly hopping on the easy possible misslynch on Elieson. All that was needed was to say "GUYS I DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING THIS INFO CAN WE TALK TOGETHER BEFORE WE CHOOSE TO DO THIS?" Instead you chose to say part of that and vote Elie, except Helios, which makes him seem a little less scummy to me.

Side note whenever Elie is scum he tends to ask if what he says in thread is okay to say in thread, especially if it has any importance to it, such as that post, which is especially why I don't think he's scum, his scum buddies would have told him not to say that. Therefore, ##Vote: BBM, scum again, calling it.

This is still very early in Day 1. If people are allowed to randomvote based on no reasoning, I can throw out a vote on Elieson for something I find suspicious without it meaning I am an overreacting scum. And starting discussion is one thing, but it has to be discussion about things beneficial to the town, not something that is much more beneficial to the mafia than the town. And yes, passive roles can be PRs too, but seeing as they don't do anything without someone targeting them first, mafia's first priority is almost always active roles. And you can't just explain away all scummy actions saying "lol his scumbuddies would have told him not to do that". I agree, mafia!Elieson tends to be more active lurky, but that doesn't mean I can't vote for him when he does something if he breaks the pattern.

BBM What you did isn't a random vote, therefore your first reasoning is pointless. Throwing out a random vote during RVS is completely different from voting someone because they started discussion.

I don't think it's necessarily scummy to not want to share info about your role this early, it's just being cautious. I agree with Shinori that Elieson looks town, since I too also know how Elieson thinks when he's scum and I know that his scumbuddies wouldn't want him to draw attention to himself if this was the case. I think one of the scumteam actually went along with things to blend in and answered Elie's question, and I also think someone who is scum tried to jump on Elieson on the basis that he's indirectly rolefishing. This is just my speculation right now though so take it as you'd like.

I'd still like to hear from Kay who should be on later so I'm keeping my vote on her.
