Just did this out of boredom. No banned members were counted since the members list does not include them.

Will update this a while after FE13 gets added to the choices.

And here I was thinking only myself, Integ and Kitty were fans of FE8.

I would be too...if I were a fan of FE.

I hope you used some sort of automation to extract this information, TC. I disdain you regardless, but more so if the earlier premise is false.

It's amusing that someone who could have probably just ran a query to gather this information in perhaps the quickest way came in and, in what I would like to believe was smug, commented that the information appeared accurate.

Seems pretty reasonable. I knew FE7 and FE10 were at the top, but I didn't realise FE8 and FE9 were so high... I expected FE4 to be at the top too along with 7/10. And I expected FE5 to be higher, too.

That being said, how can people possibly prefer FE3 to FE12?

By not playing FE12.

FE1: 21 (19 from last count, 10.52% increase, raw gain of 2)

FE2: 41 (29 from last count, 41.38% increase, raw gain of 12)

FE3: 46 (44 from last count, 4.55% increase, raw gain of 2)

FE4: 556 (340 from last count, 63.53% increase, raw gain of 212)

FE5: 161 (116 from last count, 38.79% increase, raw gain of 45)

FE6: 276 (175 from last count, 57.71% increase, raw gain of 101)

FE7: 1,122 (611 from last count, 83.63% increase, raw gain of 511)

FE8: 656 (301 from last count, 117.94% increase, raw gain of 355)

FE9: 650 (387 from last count, 67.95% increase, raw gain of 263)

FE10: 943 (657 from last count, 43.53% increase, raw gain of 286)

FE11: 124 (94 from last count, 31.91% increase, raw gain of 30)

FE12: 91 (32 from last count, 184.375% increase, raw gain of 59)

FE13: 864 (Awakening wasn't released at all when I first started the count)

Awakening has gained 864 favorites, and it wasn't even released in Japan (let alone the rest of the world) on my first census. This is more than any other FE in terms of raw gains. Next up is Blazing Sword, which gained 511 from last time, then Sacred Stones, which gained 355.

Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light, as well as its SNES remake/sequel gained the least with 2 each. Gaiden gained the second least with 12, and Shadow Dragon with 30.

Blazing Sword also overtook Radiant Dawn as the most favorited FE game, and is also ahead of Awakening, which I was expecting hold that title before I counted. Maybe I should have waited longer?

Sacred Stones also overtook Path of Radiance and Genealogy of the Holy War. FE12 overtook the game that FE12 was a remake of.

From a percentage standpoint, New Mystery had the highest with almost triple the favorites. This may be because of the English Translation patch that was completed last year. Sacred Stones had more than double, and Blazing Sword nearly doubled. The games that later got remakes did poorly.

SF-wise there's been a shift not only towards Awakening, but also the localized GBA games and New Mystery of the Emblem. Japanese-only games still don't have nearly as many favorites as most of the officially localized titles, with Genealogy of the Holy War being an exception.

So, yeah.
