  1. Technically no. As long as you have the money for eternal seals, you can keep going, but it stops showing your true level at level 99. (Shoot, I was ninja-ed by someone else)
  2. Personally, I'm very biased towards Lazward (because he is dancing Inigo), but my next two are Zero and Setsuna
  3. Everyone. I played the Japanese version, so I'll keep it consistent with what I know their names as. White Night: Yuugiri Dark Night: Nyx/Flora, Lazward/Leon/Flannel Invisible: Ashura/Jacob/Kaze, Aqua/Felicia/Yuugiri(again because I really love her)
  4. Nohr. Corrin has known them for most of his/her life, but with the Hoshidans, Corrin has known them for about a month or two(?). Maybe three? I really can't see Kamui abandon Nohr that easily. Plus I'm very bias towards the European feel of Nohr. I like the Nohr characters more as well.
  5. While my current streetpass team is literally a joke team, filled with maids, butlers, and one songstress Azura, I do plan on making my NA team for just skills and such. No weapons at all to help people out a little. But everyone's a maid or butler, of course. I'm not letting that go.
  6. Really? I never had that problem. It was ordered on the announcement date from Best Buy. The receipt said the 19th of February. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm in Canada, so I had to order it a week or two after the Nintendo announcement, so they may have fixed that before my copy was ordered.
  7. At first, I didn't like Laslow (god, that will take some getting used to) because I thought he was just a copy-and-paste of Inigo. While I love Inigo, I really wasn't into recycling characters. Then I played the game. It's hard for me to hate someone like that for long. Also Camilia. My general basis of hate for her can be summed up with, "No need for big boobs!" When I started to play the game, I tried to stay away from her due to her yandere nature to Corrin, but she was honestly a sweet person. She just has her own way of expressing her love(?).
  8. I have the opposite situation. I have to go to school to pick it up. Someone at school accidentally bought way too many copies and offered to sell me one.
  9. When I'm not playing at home, I'll typically wing it. I'm never serious when I play outside, but if I'm at home, where taking out a calculator isn't that strange, I'll calculate every single move.
  10. My first runs through each path. Nohr: Flannel. I'm not even sure why. It was late at night and I was super tired from reading a ton. It's kinda a blur to me. Hoshido: Yuugiri because she seemed like a fun person. Invisible Kingdom: Suzukaze because watching my friend letting him die with a smile because he didn't want to grind an A support during Hoshido was too brutal for me. I felt like he needed a little love as compensation for my friend.
  11. Speaking as a fan of Kibayashi's works, I would say that his works are primarily detective mysteries. You can probably already tell how different that would be from a fantasy war game. While Kibayashi has quite a bit of experience with fantasy, I've never read a story that he has written with so many characters. It was probably changed to fit the general tone of Fire Emblem games. I also believe there is a second writer for If. It's quite possible that their ideas clashed and If is the result of a compromise between the two. Edit: I almost forgot to mention. As someone who has played both Nohr and Hoshido, in the middle of IK, it's best to play the game yourself first with decent standards, then form your own opinion. What I'm seeing across the internet are people with way too high expectations. I personally love it despite a few flaws. I like it more than Awakening. I recommend avoiding most things like forums until you've had a good look at the game yourself. I'm pretty certain quite a few people here are hating it without having played it themselves, I think there are people who've uploaded ongoing translated playthroughs on YouTube, if you can't wait for the English release date.
  12. Just use a parallel seal on her when you get one. The option for pegasus knight is one of her personal class trees.
  13. *slow clapping* That's actually pretty amazing that you can screenshot and fight at the same time. Starforce is definitely takes sometime to get used to, especially if it's on a computer. You'll also see a whole bunch of floating marshmallow roadrunner things as you go further in the game. And look on the bright side! At least you weren't too far into the game before it died on you. Let's hope this file doesn't die.
  14. This has become the only reason I come back to Serenes Forest. I'll wait patiently for the next part. I must see your reactions to *censored because of spoilers.* I'll wait forever if I have to.
  15. Persona is a pretty good JRPG. I've been a fan for my entire life. You should probably start with Persona 3 or 4, if you like "supporting" with other characters. I lack a better term for that. It has a turn-based battle system. Tales of series is kinda cliche at times, but it has it's funny moments, like the skits. Tales of Xillia is one of my favourites from that. I'll just agree with everyone else above me and say you should definitely try Xenoblade. Etrian Odyssey is a first person dungeon-crawler game, where you basically navigate labyrinths and beat up monsters. Also, turn-based battle system. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is also a really good choice for JRPGs. I'm personally not overly fond of the second game though. It has a turn-based battle system.
  16. Lots of games by Atlus. Persona, Sekaiju no Meikyuu, Devil Survivor, Megami Tensei, Luminous Arc, Conception II. I'm just this piece of trash pouring money onto Atlus. Fire Emblem, definitely. While I've spent nowhere near the amount that Shadowofchaos has spent, I have every game, except the Tellius series, and a bunch of Awakening merchandise, including a 3DS that turns on and off by itself. I've grown up with Pokemon, alongside Fire Emblem and Atlus games. It really doesn't help that my parents were the ones who got me into games, manga, and anime at a really early age. So, having lots of nostalgia, I tend to buy a lot of Pokemon stuff.
  17. Just take your time. I'll probably be lurking here even if it takes a year for your computer to get fixed. Time is a necessary sacrifice for a funny LP like this.
  18. My JPN Hard cartridge is fine. There's definitely an increase for WExp on Logbook avatars and Einherjars. Maybe it's just a localisation problem. I'll try Lunatic later.
  19. While I'm not particularly fond of F!MU and Chrom's S-support, I would love hear Sugita do a line or two. *quiet fangirling over his voice* Maybe a little more voice acting for when you kill Grima in both endgame and DLC. I can't think of much outside of that, only taking away the random grunting. It's a little awkward to listen to. I'm sorry for not having an english copy. I haven't heard many parts from it either, so I can't be a good judge on lines I want to hear from it.
  20. As much as I really want to use almost everyone, I often forget to train them and then, I have a long list of units that are never used. If Chrom wasn't forced into every map, I would completely forget about him. I forget my own avatar all the time. Lissa, Frederick, Sully, Virion, Stahl, Vaike, Miriel, Kellum, Donnel, Ricken, Maribelle, Panne, Gregor, Nowi, Libra, Tharja, Say'ri, Basilio, Flavia, Lucina, Yarne, Nah Characters I never recruit: Owain, Brady, Kjelle, Laurent, Noire, Gangrel, Walhart, Yen'fay, Aversa.
  21. My friend has the same birthday as Donnel. (She always kills him, like Gaia and Cynthia, or she doesn't get enough exp though so Donnel never gets stuff on his birthday on her file)
  22. ...my copy is Japanese...I have no choice in the matter. But if I'm ever helping my friend with her file, I typically do have it set to Japanese, because I'm way too used to hearing it.
  23. Usually(when I get streetpassed by a japanese copy), I get Chrom x Avatar or Tharja x Avatar. Never anyone else. Unless it's literally an entire team of Avatars.
  24. I leave mostly everyone as is. It's not a smart idea, but it just feels right if they literally have their portrait classes, with the only exceptions being Lissa as a sage, Maribelle as a valkyrie and Brady as a War Priest. If I'm ever bored with that, Olivia, Cherche, and my female avatar get turned to brides and a ton of guys get turned to dread fighters.
  25. I'm not really fond of Robin. If I had to relate them to something, it would probably be water. Their personality can literally fit into any sort of container, actually, to be more specific, they have very little personality. They're not completely a self-insert, nor are they their own person. They scare me more than Tharja, most of the time.
