    TV of today is dead for me. I only watch old cartoon series which - I think - do not care all that much for character development. And if they had, then something would be really wrong.

    Oh I see, thanks! Well, at least for videogames I do not know any of these examples except Lucia, but I never considered her haircut as part of character development as I do not consider Mia improved overwide. My knowledge about movies and TV (anime) series is non existent, so cannot really talk about it. @Shrimperor Honestly the opposite. If I had a ponytail, then I could say to myself, I would have experienced character development. That said I would not exclude it will not happen. Ponytails look supercute, but on the other hand long hair feels uncomfortable for me. Wearing a woman's wig for six hours was already enough for me.

    I just have had a hair cut, but I have experienced no character development. I am still the person as I am.......at least I hope so. Anyways aside of Luke from Tales of the Abyss I cannot think of anyone right mow this would apply to.

    Awakening splits the community (probably as no other game in the franchise does). It introduces tons of new people into FE (which is why this game saved the series), but for veterans like me it was a huge disappointment in terms of content. But I do not want to fall back with my paroles in my dark past about five years ago and I will not say anything more about it. I accept that people like it because it has a new stuff. It is just for someone like me who likes a variety of mission objectives and staves, FE13 did not extend its potential to its full and prioritized things which are minor in FE to me.

    If I had known about the content at least one day earlier, I would have summoned more for Ishtar. Since my only interested unit Ilyana is an armor unit, and I have a good VLyn already, there is no reason to pull from. If she was red, that would be great, because I have no red armor mage. Maybe I could try for a better copy of Sakura once she returns.

    This is from my view. Awakening was like two step backs regarding gameplay compared to Tellius (ambivalent to FE6 and FE5). The new things like pair-up were executed poorly. And I really did not need marriages and waifu-wars in Fire Emblem. I am so glad Three Houses got rid of them aside of Byleth. If I say that "Edna is the best of Zestiria", then same goes for Lucina in Awakening. She is the only reason I would ever replay this game.

    I only have played very little yet (lent the Wii version about seven years ago) and the first impression was that the game's mood is extremely dark and depressing. A protagonist who is hated and chosen by the folks and cannot handle the situation with his whiny attitude. Symphonia might have a great story, but I have issues with the controls and graphics. I remember failing in the very first battle. If I started with a classic 2D Tales game, I would have a different opinion of the game. Getting used on the 2D battle style (someone compared it to StreetFighter which is describes accurately) is something I have my issues with. Same goes for dipping in Phantasia. Speaking of black sheeps: I consider Fire Emblem Awakening as Black Sheep of this series, although if this series has one, then it is Gaiden. Tbf Zestiria does not have a good reputation either, also saw people called it as Black Sheep. The armatization was a cool idea, but executed totally wrong. You have to rely on that to withstand any (optional) boss fights which is stupid. Classic battle with four characters pretty much does not exist once armatization comes into play.

    My order of played games: Abyss Berseria Vesperia Xillia 2 Xilla Graces Zestiria Symphonia (I dislike the 2.5D battle graphics) Zestiria anime has been the only anime series I have watched yet, well, it exists. I do not enjoy the old Tales games because I cannot get used to the 3D battle graphics and controls. Also random encounters are a thing which I dislike. I grew up with 3D Tales.

    Oh, there are people here who like Dawn to the New World? People considered it as black sheep mainly because of the protagonist. (Have not played it yet because I am no big fan of Symphonia) Yes, Bersy is soooo much better than Zesty, but Zesty still has better dungeons. If I miss one thing in Berseria, then a well designed dungeon. Aside of the water temple and final dungeon nothing comes in mind unfortunately. Also postgame was obnoxious.

    Purchased Valkyria Chronicles 4 from the e-shop for 20 € despite not having made much progress in the first game yet. It mainly ends by Alicia taking some headshots by messing up with the controls. But I like their story and gameplay and my hometown appears in the first part.

    I watched it too. I have to admit in midgame chapters it is not too hard. In my BL run Byleth in a thicket can easily take care of all the enemies, but in the early chapters (especially first battle of the Three Houses) the RNG must be really merciful to pass them.

    Idk any of the titles, but my favorites are the map theme from chapter 8 till 10, all boss battle themes and final map theme of Blue Lions and Black Eagles.
