  1. Gray got a six stat level up, the best level up. (also Hi Breeze) I guess the growthrates became only slightly better? Getting 2-2.5 stats in average for my units. Got several one-statter already.
  2. Why can everyone only take one either item or weapon besides their standard weaopon in Echoes? Also Idk who to give the defense boost. Gameplaywise it's way too much original Gaiden unfortunately. No weapon triangle and infinite weapon durability hurt. But hey, therefore there's sth. similiar to fatigue. However I haven't quite found yet how it exactly works. I'm honest enough I didn't expect Echoes to be a masterpiece in terms of gameplay, and sure it isn't. But therefore storywise it has a lot to offer. I guess no other FE part focusses as much on the characters's presentation as Echoes does.
  3. I played this chapter today. Didn't use Clair or any other peg. knight to drag him out. Just went through the central path with pretty much everyone. Slayed starts to move when someone's in his attack range.
  4. He leaves after Slayde has been defeated.
  5. The prologue is only made to use Mycen. The others can't do shit. It doesn't matter since you don't get any exp. However it gives me the question what the purpose of the prologue is except for telling you to use forests because they're OP as fuck.
  6. I have to say I was very sceptical about this game since I liked neither FE2, nor FE for the (3)DS in general. After completing Act 1 I was positive surprised about this game because it's quite different to a regular FE game. It feels rather like a classic RPG (like Shin Megami Tensei) with exploring dungeons, talking to people and searching for stuff. The gameplay is very simple though. Weapon triangle doesn't exist and weapons have infinite weapon durability. Of course these are mechanics overtaken from the original, but I prefer having a FE game with complex mechanics. As simple the gameplay is (unfortunately), as detailed the plot is. I guess it's the text-heaviest FE game I've played yet. You learn a lot about all the characters. It also has more VA than FE13 + 14. As for someone who prefers gameplay over story, Echoes definitely won't become my favorite part.. But comparing to previous parts it has a MUCH better story.
  7. I've read it's similar to the GBA games. So I guess max. five supports per unit are possible? Can anyone support with anyone? Also where can I see the support boosts? I couldn't find anything related to supports here.
  8. It's not that my grammar is good, so I have no reason to complain about others.
  9. Eyrios is in the same class as Olwen, mage knight. He's recruitable but only in one of two routes, and only if Olwen died / hasn't been recruited. He has better stats than her but he can't use daimthunder therefore. Oh, forgot about this. It's definitely a mechanic I'd like to see returning as well. It's true that too many questions about FE5 have been asked. I replaced two questions regarding FE5. I wish I could ask more about 1-3 but I haven't played these games yet.
  10. I see. Just assumed that all characters in Cipher would exist in FE so I was wondering from where they are.

  12. Umm... what? correct Funnily enough I thought these people were just redesingned characters from other franchises and added to those chipers.
  13. Eyvel can't die in chapter 5 because of plot reason. Just keep Nanna out of any enemy attack ranges. Grafcalibur and earth sword are the best weapons to beat the prepromoted enemies. Grafcalibur has 50 uses so you can use it quite frequently. And if it should break, you can still repair it.
  14. Woah... that makes ... sense... to disable permadeath under these mentioned circumstances. Idk that real money is a thing here.
  15. Seriously I was thinking about it like more than a half year ago. (also he posts in multiple sections GBA, Switch and Fates too) I even see some similarities to a certain wannabe president. He just wants to be in the spotlight of SF with all this threads without having any knowledge about the FE matter. He's really not aware of the consequences about the content he's posting. And whenever someone criticizes him or refutes his "facts", he becomes whiny and starts to complain. I think he's rather illiterate than a troll, but his dumbness in his posts let people think he's a troll. On the other hand he's 25 already...

  17. Hmm... depends on the game acutally. As for status boosts I normally wait till near end of the game to check out who does need which boost. There are still a few cases for immediate use like angelic robe on Roy and a angelic robe on FE10 Jill to ler her take multiple hits in part 1. I'd say FE6 and 10 are the only parts I use some of them rather early. As for rare or forge weapons I use them conservatively; only if I have to.
  18. My answer is simple: Depends on the growthrates of the opponents If they match the growths of the allies, it's absolutely fine. Also caps shouldn't be generic but fitting to each own class like it's the case in the latest FE parts.
  19. Reading this topic title after almost 24h still disturbs me. Seriously FE wouldn't be FE without permadeath. Why did Heroes have no permadeath? (sry, I have no knowledge about its gameplay)
