Edit: To add another thought, we know that David Vincent and Laura Bailey as Robin and Lucina sounded great in Awakening, but kind of average in their reveal trailer. I'm positive they'll sound great in the game proper.

If Kozaki returns for the next FE, then he should get to design the armor himself. Or at least have someone more competent that can come up with armor that provides more than fanservice (and not even the good kind).

If more Mirages can be recruited, perhaps the execution would be somewhat like Persona Q. In that game, everyone had a main Persona equiped, but could then equip another as a "sub", inheriting more skills to use and different increases in Stats. Perhaps, if Mirages can be recruited, they could be done like that, which could add to the variety.

I'm really getting sick and tired of people with this mindset. First of all, there's no confirmation of any change and you're already moaning.

Not surprised at the T rating. I'm not going to get into the whole "what will they censor" talk but I always believed that it was going to get a T rating even if it was kept exactly the same as the Japanese version. From my experience, you would need something truly graphic or explicit to get an M rating in America.

Sounds interesting. Sounds like something I should expect for Sakura. I'll be curious to see how she does with Charlotte. That's something I found interesting with so many actors voicing 2 characters in Awakening, to see how they each portray the characters. I mean, would you have believed that Sully and Cherche were voiced by the same person if you didn't read the cast list?

Huh...interesting results. I don't really care for Corrin's placement since that was pretty much a fore-gone conclusion, and I doubt anything will be done, like with Robin. I don't mind Orochi being at the bottom. Honestly, I always found her design to be kind of meh. This is likely petty of me, but she doesn't have a good design. Flora being ahead of Felicia is intriguing. I like how Belka did well...though Effie being middle of the pack is disappointing (she's currently my choice for my first marriage option when I get the game in February). Eponine being up there is also troubling. Unfortunately, there's been a large increase in people who love yaoi crap in Japan. However, I found Azura's placement to be the most surprising. I've seen enough popularity polls in Japan where being a main character is generally all you did. Outside of Female Corrin, Azura is the closest this game has to a main heroine, yet she couldn't break the Top 3. As for the kids....let this show Intelligent Systems that if you want to put kids in, you need better reasons for them to exist.

That's pretty much the thing. The tone seems to be closer to the SMT spin-offs, most likely why it even has the "Ibunroku" title given to games like Devil Survivor in Japan. The Mirages seem much more like Demons from the typical SMT games, with their own personalities and such. The fact that they get tied to a character like Chrom does to Itsuki doesn't really automatically scream Persona to me.

No, because none of these concepts are exclusive to Persona. Hell, most Persona games aren't even like this.

I'm personally not thinking of it as a Fire Emblem game. I'm taking it as just an Atlus RPG, nothing much more than that. Thankfully, Atlus has never let me down with their RPG's so I'm looking forward to this.

Assuming you're thinking of the one I'm thinking of, I think that dark knight-looking character might be that guy with the microphone. Their faces look similar.

Mamori is adorable as expected. Well....I was hyped when I saw that Barry was playable...but to see that he doesn't seem to have a Mirage is disappointing.

Eleonora seems to be the kind of girl I like so far. Kiria is alright so far, though I'll have to see more of her to judge. Tsubasa....looks to be the kind of girl I really don't like. Need to see more to judge Mamori.

Agreed. Besides, it's not like this game is going to change either series. Fans who prefer the typical style of both franchises have Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final and Fire Emblem Fates to look forward to. This game is just a silly spin-off doing it's own thing.

I honestly don't mind the Shadow Dragon/Awakening focus. I mean, yes, my favorite casts are the Tellius and Magvel characters, but overall, there really isn't a FE cast that I don't like. So, even if this doesn't have Tellius or Magvel characters, I'm still okay with that. Hopefully they might have them in a sequel if the game is successful.
