Can I just step in here and say this discussion seems to be getting out of hand? Not trying to push anyone around or ruin anyone's mood....but this discussion really seems to have gotten off-topic. I mean, it's a Book 4 topic yet it's gone into an ongoing fanservice debate and I'm not sure if this is the right place for it. Again, not trying to push anyone around here, but think the debate could be moved over into it's own thread or something?

RIP Hot Springs banner. You will NOT be missed. Kind of hoping it's not Farfetched though since that comes with a Paralogue so the main story wouldn't advance.

Overall very good as usual. Larcei and Shannon's get to show off a lot of sword users which was cool (really wish Soleil wasn't there though). Alfonse and Ced had some nice talks as did Altena and Fjorm. I feel like Travant fans are being trolled though with Altena recounting how Travant killed Quan with Gungnir.

So, we now have another McGuffin. First that incense from Henriette and now Gullenkembi from Freyr. Wonder how it'll all go down. Looks like we'll probably fight Triandra and Plumeria together in the next chapter. They're certainly trying to make this whole Kiran situation mysterious. Wonder what it'll lead to. And now we also have this childish mystery voice. Edit: Oh, would you look at that. They actually updated the official website. We have Freyr and Plumeria now. We're getting story content in the form of Abyss mode, which has been hinted at with certain characters in the game right now.

I suppose I'll throw my hat into the ring. More often than not, I don't mind fanservice so long as a character has something to offer besides that. Let's take Camilla for example. I wouldn't mind the fact that they clearly sexualize her if she had more of a character arc. Problem is that she doesn't. There's clearly more attention given to her figure than there is to her backstory which is sadly underutilized. To me, she comes as something that's meant to pander to the Avatar rather than a character in her own right. Which is too bad because I think Camilla's overall story had a lot of potential. As for Plumeria, I've pretty much excepted that Heroes' story is meant to be very simple so I've become a little desensitized to how it's done its characters.

Peony actually had shorts in the Book 4 trailer, though that doesn't seem to be the case with her artwork. Guess Yoshiku doesn't care.

I think we need to calm down on Imperial Astra. They don't always specify in these trailers if the skills are inheritable. Alm's Lunar Flash and Marth's Fire Emblem didn't have those notices either but there uninheritable. So, let's chill a bit.

Nope, Altena is from Genealogy. And you know, perhaps people would less rude to you if you didn't come off as having an attitude half the time.

I rank it as my 2nd favorite overall FE game, and favorite of the 3D games. Only one I rank higher is, as my profile probably says, The Sacred Stones. 😄

I like Silver Snow, but I also think it does lack an identity of sorts. Azure Moon, Verdant Wind, and Silver Snow all deal with the plot of saving Rhea. However, AM and VW are also driven by Dimitri and Claude's own goals which help to shape those routes. Silver Snow lacks that, and mostly just has the basic "Save Rhea" plot without a whole lot else. Heck, you actually see less of Edelgard in Silver Snow compared to other routes due to Gronder Field Part 2 being skipped in that route. It would have at least helped if Seteth and Flayn being Byleth's immediate helpers gave more information on the Nabateans, but that really doesn't happen. Heck, the Black Eagle students actually feel very marginalized in SS.

Kind of one of many reasons why I don't like Crimson Flower's story. It takes leaps in logic to even get going.

Given how screwed Leif got by taking so long to even get in the game, I say bring on the brokenness. 😄

Sounds pretty much the same as she does in the Duo Alfonse unit. Julie Kliewer pretty much took the squeakiness out of her characters starting with Summer Lilina.

3 and a half minutes of Alfonse and Sharena teaching everyone how to weab! 😄 But in all seriousness, very cute and well done. Kudos to Ray Chase, Julie Kliewer, and Ryan Bartley on the performances.
