How they handle it is really dumb. Even doing it with PST doesn't do anyone any good, not even those on the West Coast. With it being 11 PM for them, it might as well be the next day anyway.

This post just reminded me of how much I wish Heroes would do something like the Gala showcases. I'd love to see story-promoted versions of Heroes' main cast like what DL is doing.

Well, I dare say we just got bamboozled. 😄 But in all seriousness, this is pretty awesome. This means ancient heroes are indeed eligible for Mythic heroes. This opens the door for characters like Anri, Roland, the 12 Crusaders, and all matter of heroes. :) And damn, Altina is sick, in a good way of course.

Fire and Ice banner came on November 21. Book 3 debuted on December 10th (with no associated banner). Winter's Envoy came afterwards.

I don't think they're following any real pattern for Book reveals. Book 2 was revealed not too long before it came out. Could simply be a matter that they're not doing as many previews as before, kind of like how they've barely even advertised FEH Channels this year, as most of them have just been dropped without prior warning. I see no reason for Book 4 to be held off since we just got its transitional chapter this week (like how the Surtr/Ylgr banner was the transition chapter between Book 2 and 3).

I don't think Eir is taking over since the implication is that Alfonse is giving her a home in Askr. Plus, Eir might not even be qualified given her lack of any true relation to the world of the dead.

I'm pretty sure they already have an idea given the various popularity polls that have come out since TH's release, not to mention the Famitsu polls that they've actually referenced in the past.

None honestly, but that's not any fault of the game. There are very few times in video games where a character death got an emotional reaction out of me. The only thing I can say for sure is that I make Bernadetta an automatic recruit through all playthroughs so I don't have to kill her. In fact, I place no recruitment restrictions on myself. I'll recruit whoever even if I don't plan on using them just to avoid more death.

Honestly, I'm not sure what can be done with Anna, given she's basically the same Anna we've always known just with a different title. She's basically just a mascot like she's always been hence her lack of big story moments. Sharena on the other hand definitely needs something. Unlike Alfonse, she has no current path in life other than being a cheerleader.

Yeah, whether or not Askr/Embla count as one of the realms has often been on my mind too since there's not an obvious connection like the others. Guess we'll have to see.

Next month most likely. Achievements for Book 4 are already in Google, and I doubt they would wait close to 2 months for those to come, especially since they've been averaging a New Story chapter every month for a while now. Plus, Book 4 may not be tied to a banner either, just like Book 3 was.

That term literally means Dark Elves, so I doubt they'll look like aliens. But yes, dreams appear to be the central theme for Book 4, and perhaps that was their intention with Adrift.

I think it kind of depends on what blueprint the writers are following. When I googled the Nine Realms, I saw there were two different versions. And that's significant because Hel is only considered in one of them.

Yes, the term Loki uses does translate to Dark Elves, according to Google at least. I'm going to guess that if Lif and Thrasir show up again, it probably won't be in Book 4. Thorr and Loki are obviously up to something, but I get the feeling that will remain in the background for the time being while the Dark Elves take the role of main antagonists. On a different note, looks like the new Tap Battle we're getting will be Book 3 themed. I'll be curious to see the extent of how much they give it for the going away party.
