Melissa Fahn voiced Maribelle in Awakening. The role I remember her the most from is Rika from Digimon Tamers.

Amelia as an axe armor unit. Interesting choice. And Innes is voiced by the same guy who voices the Smash 4 announcer. Nice!

As far as Avatars are concerned, Intelligent Systems needs to finally figure out how to do Avatars. It feels like they're constantly trying to fuse character creation with typical FE Lords, and it comes across as a lesser version of both. If you want the player to be an Avatar, then give them more control over the character through things like dialogue choices and such like that. Don't give the character a set personality and expect the player to fall into that especially when said character reacts in a way no reasonable person would (aka Corrin). As for children, do it like Genealogy or don't do it at all. I'm sick of seeing the parents and children at the same age. Fates showed me how tiring that's getting. I forgive Awakening because the time travel aspect was rather important, but there's no reasonable way to keep that sort of thing going. And marriage....put it back in support endings like it used to be. Older games got by just fine with implying that special things would come in the future for couples. I don't need to see more forced romances. On that note, bring back platonic endings. Those were excellent.

Celica should be S tier. She's probably in my Top 5 in terms of artwork.

As far as I can tell, outside of Hector, there really aren't many popular axe units. Or at least characters in which the axe is the weapon they're most known for.

It's Hardy Bearing 1, and it pretty much just negates Vantage and Desperation.

Man, Squad Assault 2 is proving to be harder than the last one. First map includes Ryoma and Takumi. Cruel mix-up for me.

Man...this is just an absolute slaughter. Gaius has had more bonus hours than I care to count and he's still super far behind. Imagine if this didn't even have bonuses.

Why isn't the Valentian Falchion anywhere to be seen in Awakening? Because whoever wrote Valm's role in that game is a complete doof who couldn't even get it's geography right.

Nintendo has been giving every major Switch game it's own direct so far. With FE Warriors and Mario Odyssey coming in September, I imagine one will get a direct this month and then the other will get one in September.

Welp, as far as SD/Awakening/Fates Pegasus Knights go, I would have preferred Hinoka, but Cordelia is okay. Better choice than Caeda or Sumia at least.

Probably won't figure that stuff out until the 1.6 update.

I find it kind of funny that Fates: Conquest seems to be getting more love from Intelligent Systems than Birthright is. I mean, you have Nohr getting a Summer Banner along with Ylisse (Awakening), and you have Female Corrin (basically Conquest Corrin) being put in Fire Emblem Warriors over the Male one that's primarily advertised for Birthright. Maybe they think Conquest is the more popular version.

Well, this will be curious. Not really an obvious winner here.

Kind of interesting that they may be going for various kinds of relationships in these BHB's, not just romantic pairs.
