It would be hilarious if the Nintendo amusement park would host screenings of CDi Link alongside stuff like Pokemon, Kirby, F-Zero and Fire Emblem anime and the animated Kid Icarus shorts.
-
If it's to just play Binding Blade as is without any fan translations, then no. Learning to be fluent in another language requires a lot of time and dedication. It would be more worthwhile if you intend to do something like play more untranslated/unlocalized Japanese games or watch lots of raw anime or if you intend to stay in Japan for extended periods of time.

I can easily see Mario, Legend of Zelda and Pokemon being featured prominently there.
For Fire Emblem, it's probably going to be medieval-themed skits and such.
Could be cool if they pull a page from amusement parks like Disney World by having people dress up as various Nintendo characters for photographs with guests.

She in the game is by definition one of the most useful sniping character in the game and is one of the most mobile one too because of her low steam usage. Guess that archer reclass has some uses for once.
Well, Chrom and Lucina can be incredibly good Snipers in FE13 mostly because of Dual Strike+ (highest Dual Strike rates in the game, with ~100% chance of activation if paired with their S-supports and have Limit Break equipped) and that they can go Aether + Luna on top of that.
Seen the Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser ones (all SMB amiibo) at the Gamestop store close to the college campus I go to.

Edited OP because of new Pinsir stage.

From what it looks like, the amiibo figures seem to get better in terms of quality as time passes.
Getting Palutena and ZSS amiibo most likely would be a nightmare.
-
While Female Morgan can get Aether from any daughter of Chrom, she can't get Rightful King. Which, I imagine, would be needed to get the "highest Aether activation rate" in the first place.
Ah, that's true though Rightful King isn't too useful when compared to proc-stacking for loads of damage.
-
Female Morgan exists; she can have a higher Skill mod than Lucina would depending on male Robin's Asset (Skill) and Flaw and Lucina's mother (Sumia for this case), therefore having higher activation rates. Stacking Aether with Ignis and/or Luna can be scary with Brave weapons. Female Morgan inherits Aether from Lucina or Chrom!Cynthia.

Try the music arrangements of the video game soundtrack heard in the anime adaptation of Pokemon. The Pokemon anime may not be the best in terms of writing, but the music is really good!

Btw. it looks like Palutena will be an exclusive, perhaps to Walmart since it didn't get a wave 4 exclusive. Best Buy didn't get one either, but Palutena's SKU isn't showing up in its database while Dark Pit is there. If she is exclusive to Walmart, I'm glad I live just around the corner from one... I haven't played KI, but I like Palutena.
Oh boy, sounds like yet another unicorn rarity amiibo like the Rosalina one.

I love how people are looking at Carmilla as a possible reason for an M-rating. Senran Kagura Burst, when it came to America, is T-RATED, and that game was bursting with fanservice -- clothes damage, massive bust sizes, cleavages and pantyshots (really swimsuit shots) -- basically, those high school girls in that game for the most part make Carmilla look well covered up. And as if Tharja and Aversa from FE13 weren't any better.

That depends on the father Yarne has. From what it sounds like, you had Panne marry Gregor or male Robin so Yarne can get Myrmidon and Mercenary skills. Keep in mind that not everybody uses that pairing and that not everybody bothers to use Armsthrift. Also, Taguels lack range and don't have any weapons that allow them to double automatically, a problem shared with the Manaketes in addition to Movement problems (for many units, this can be alleviated with Galeforce, for the case of Yarne, the most he can get besides the mediocre Movement +1 skill and the situational Acrobat is Deliverer, which depends on who he has for his father (ie. Lon'qu, Virion, Robin or Frederick) or if he inherited it from Panne).

Gotta love that "Hurry Up!" print on the back of his jacket. And I can see that they tried to make his pink pants textured to look as if they're made of denim!

I'm not worried as anybody can find worse crap on the Internet and I'm of age at which I can purchase an AO rated game if I wanted to. What I'm more worried about is how much Nintendo of America would censor the game during localization to make it more suitable as a T-rated (recommended 13+ yrs. of age) game rather than go with possibly the first M-rated (recommended 17+ yrs. of age) Fire Emblem game since the game got rated to be recommended basically 15+ years of age.
-
Hopefully, that means that preordering during future amiibo waves may not be as frustrating as before.
-
I'd go physical if all 3 routes are available in 1 game card. Otherwise, I'd just stick with digital.
-
Edited once more.
-
I can see that scalpers are going to try to raise prices based on whether the amiibo are first prints or reprints.
-
Then why is Peach common as hell? :P She's so common that she had to officially be marked down! And she's pretty detailed. Whereas Kirby, who should be extremely easy to make, is getting a bit rare these days.
It's probably because of the popularity -- iconic characters like Link, Mario and Pikachu can easily be found in practically any retailer that sells them.
If there are to be any FE amiibo, I'd probably get those of female characters like Lyn and Eirika.

Anybody in agreement with this?

Renewal on children characters (especially Lucina in FP3) is awesome in all maps, especially in FP3 if you intend to hold off from using staves immediately.
-
I'm all in for Fire Emblem amiibo as long as they're well stocked and/or have card versions readily available. But from what I've seen, that may be too much to ask for, especially since at least part of the amiibo production process involves work done by hand rather than by machine and the problems with worker unions (in America) and scalpers.
-
Probably going to be T-rated here, especially with localization potentially censoring more graphic or suggestive content or something.
-
Mm, a tough break for those who preordered the American boxed amiibo.
Nintendo Theme Park? It's actually happening!

I'd truly love to visit the amusement park. However, I probably can't as I can't afford going from Maryland all the way to Florida. And it's possible that the merch that can be found at ordinary retailers can be more expensive at the amusement park.
