  1. I rigged Matthew's strength to make up for the lack of a Killing Edge early on. If I had the Killing Edge I wouldn't have cared that much about his strength. Admittedly, 20 strength was slightly overkill outside of killing Oleg with a Slim Sword crit, but I wasn't sure how much strength Matthew needed to reliably kill bosses, so I just went for max strength to be safe. He needed at least 16 strength for Lloyd iirc.
  2. Chapter 26: 15/127 Pent and Ninian went left, Matthew and Eliwood went right. Got the Boots and the Rescue Staff, and Nino talked to Jaffar on Turn 12 or 13 or something. Pent slowly killed Ursula over the course of like 3 or 4 turns. Nils danced Pent who then Warps Eliwood again. On Turn 2, Pent moves forward and uses the Rescue Staff on Nils, who dances Pent. Pent then Warps Eliwood up to Limstella and drops Matthew in front of her equipped with a Lancereaver to kill the knights and chip Limstella. However, Matthew is a fucking man who dodges Limstella's fairly accurate attack and then OHKOs her with Lethality (the plan was to rig crits for days, but Lethality works too), and gets a good level on top of that. Eliwood seizes next turn. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Matthew's lack of 1-2 range does not screw me out of a 3 turn clear. Eliwood opens Brenden's room equipped with a Killing Edge, Pent opens Ursula and Jerme's room equipped with Thunder, Athos opens Darin's room equipped with Luna, and Matthew goes up, gets danced by Nils and then opens Lloyd and Linus' room. Athos needs to crit Uhai, Eliwood needs to crit Brenden, and Matthew needs to get a Lethality on Lloyd either on Turn 1 or Turn 2. On the successful clear, Athos also critted Darin and Pent crited Jerme, but these don't matter. On Turn 2, Matthew finished off Lloyd and Pent kills Ursula. Eliwood moves up and is danced by Nils in order to kill the Bolting Sage in Kenneth's room. Athos would have killed Darin this turn, but he killed him with a crit last turn, so he goes left to kill the Warrior in Brenden's room that he would have otherwise killed on Turn 3. On enemy phase, the Gespenst Druid and Linus die. Jerme would have also been killed now if Pent hadn't crit him before. On Turn 3, Eliwood finishes off Kenneth, revealing Nergal. Athos would have also killed the Warrior this turn if the crit against Darin didn't happen on Turn 1 and would have been danced by Nils afterwards. Pent then uses the final use of the Warp Staff to Warp Athos up to Nergal. Athos chips Nergal with Aureola and then kills him on enemy phase. Final, Part 2: 1/160 Luna >>>>> Dragon. 3. Chapter 21: 2/87 Matthew has 6 move and can reach the boss on turn 2. Matthew can't ORKO the boss even with the Longsword so he has to dodge a 61 displayed hit attack in order to live. Chapter 22: 4/91 Pent killed nearly everything while Eliwood and Matthew cleared out the stragglers. I gave Ninian the Angelic Robe so that she can take one more hit without dying. Chapter 23: 3/94 This actually sucked. Matthew has to hit two 63 displayed hit Silver Swords against Lloyd as well as dodge Lloyd's 77 displayed hit attack in order to live. Chapter 24: 11/105 Yay, I finally have 1-2 range thanks to Pent. I feed Pent as much experience as I can since he's the only one who can actually gain exp at this point. Pent used the Afa's Drops on Turn 1 so that his level's will be better. He also teamed up with Lancereaver!Eliwood in order to kill Vaida. Matthew got the Hammerne Staff. Bought some Killing Edges. Admitingly I did something kind of lame here. I rigged two back-to-back 10% crits from Pent in order to feed the boss to him since he can actually get exp from it. Matthew could have killed him with a Killing Edge crit for a far more reliable boss kill, but I wanted to distribute the exp better. 4. Chapter 11: 7/7 Eliwood goes left and eats the Energy Ring. This chapter's pretty unreliable since Eliwood needs to dodge basically every axe dude and proc speed twice to double the brigands near the boss. Chapter 12: 7/14 Eliwood goes right and murders everything while Oswin kills some soldiers. I accidentally moved Oswin to a space on Turn 1 that prevents him from reaching the armory by the end of the map, but it's fine since I can just buy some Iron Swords later. Chapter 13: 6/20 Drafting Matthew actually kind of sucks since he needs to get the Merlinus village, which means that he can't recruit Guy for his Killing Edge without costing turns. Besides that, Eliwood needs to either crit the boss or dodge 2 60-something displayed hit Steel Lances from the boss in order to not die. Stats: Eliwood Lv. 9.90 25HP/14Str/10Skl/14Spd/11Lck/7Def/3Res B Swords Matthew Lv. 2.00 Base Chapter 13x: 7/27 Yep. Chapter 14: 12/39 This kind of sucked since Matthew has terrible hit rates against the cavaliers near the beginning with the Steel Sword. Eliwood went around and killed most of the enemies. Erk died. Bought 10 Iron Swords. Chapter 16x: 4/62 Can't get a 3 turn because Matthew can't kill the mages and archer on enemy phase which results in them blocking the way. Chapter 17: 4/66 Gave Matthew Canas' Secret Book. See above for why I can't get a 3 turn even though Matthew could otherwise reach the boss just by counting squares. Stats: Eliwood Lv. 20.00 36HP/20Str/15Skl/20Skl/17Lck/11Def/7Res A Swords Matthew Lv. 20.00 32HP/20Str/16Skl/20Spd/11Lck/11Def/2Res A Swords Chapter 18: 5/71 Matthew charged ahead and murdered Uhai with the Longsword. Chapter 18x: 6/77 If those forts weren't there I could have done this in 5 turns. Stats: What, did you think they'd have changed? Chapter 19: 5/82 Matthew charges ahead and murders everything while Eliwood follows. Matthew ORKOs Darin with the Armorslayer dropped by one of the cavaliers on Turn 4 after Eliwood opens the door for him. Merlinus managed to live due to the Sniper missing a 78 displayed hit attack. Chapter 20: 3/85 Matthew goes right and kills the boss. The bosskill would have been super reliable if it weren't for a stupid monk blocking Eliwood's path to the boss, which meant that Matthew had to kill Oleg by himself with a Slim Sword hit + crit.
  5. God damn it, I got sniped hard. Matthew since there's litterally no one better.
  6. Wow Jedi, you're so mean. Give me Pent. EDIT: Also, I'd like to suggest that Priscilla be free to be attacked in Chapter 16 if you drafted Raven and/or Lucius. In previous drafts people had to resort to taking a Marcus penalty in order to reach Raven on time before either he or the soldiers die, which is dumb. You shouldn't have to break the rules just to recruit your units.
  7. We're trying to be more objective in character placement than that. Well, as objective as a community poll can be anyways. I would totally put some characters lower due to personal bias against them, but voting based on salt doesn't really help anyone. This is kind of like how we don't use personal experience in Fire Emblem Tier Lists. We have to use more objective methods of comparing characters than that.
  8. 2. Draw my portrait, err... I mean, impressions? 3. Who is the best JoJo? Please note that any answer other than Johnny is wrong. 4. Favorite part of JoJo?
  9. Would there be any significant changes in the list if you removed the outlier votes?
  10. Well that's nice, since I already have 27 strength before tonics in Chapter 23. I was really hoping that max strength Master Ninja!Corrin with a strength asset would be able to OHKO Ryoma with one Silver Dagger Dragon Fang crit (with strength tonic and Shurikenfaire also), since one crit is more likely than two, but I don't think that will work.
  11. Pit and Dark Pit being in different tiers is hilarious. I think Shulk is better than E but I'll admit that's probably just bias talking.
  12. But Chapter 25 will only take one turn if you're crazy like me and don't give a shit about probability in order to save turns that don't matter since I won't win the draft anyway. I also sold my Killing Edge in order to buy tonics because I'm dirt poor.
  13. Whoever gets Pink DK with random fighter first wins, clearly.
  14. I mean, even with taking the competitors skill levels into account, there are clearly some characters that are fundamentally worse than others. For example, I use Dorf, and no matter how good or not I may be with him, that doesn't suddenly make Dorf good in comparison to the other characters. He has flaws inherent to his design that make him objectively worse than most other characters. Being skilled with a lower tiered character doesn't magically make their flaws go away.
  15. Well, if you drafted Lucius, you would be going to Kenneth's map most likely.
  16. I'll join. I have to make sure not to accidentally meatshield with Guy and end up going to Jerme's map this time lol.
  17. I use 5-6 units that each have another unit permanently attached to them as a stat backpack. Additional slots are filled by Azura, staffbots, and Hakitaka/Rallyman.
  18. Just give the last slot to Shin. He wouldn't pass up an opportunity to possibly defeat Horace.
