  1. .________________. wat. I... I don't even... I guess Inigo was on to something (his battle quote from the hot spring dlc)
  2. Wasn't that already confirmed when they presented details on my castle (the hot spring scenes?) Also, nosebleed
  3. Hahaha! Forest castle, here I come!!! #dodginglikeaboss
  4. Maybe that's why they said they'd up the rating for this game... poor, poor Kazahana...
  5. Or its something like ancient and/or medieval times where you could get married to siblings/cousins no problem (look at ancient Egypt and Tut-Ench-Amun. His parents were siblings). I'm not sure if that is true for ancient/medieval Japan, but... it is highly likely. If, by any chance, everything I said in this post is wrong, then please correct me... History isn't exactly my forté... Edit: I hope, you can't marry the kids... that was hella weird in Awakening... at least for me.
  6. Alrighty then. So it is true, then. Kamui and Azura aren't really blood related to the respective royal families. Watch out, guys and girls, as the huge plot twist turns out to be... Lillith is actually your mother (or you can marry her as well :P)
  7. Perhaps you can finally bring everyone with you on each map? (didn't have time to watch the E3 playthrough)
  8. I would think the same. It would make sense, considering you are the only one that can turn into a dragon.
  9. Like he was called in Shadow Dragon, then? And his class from Awakening? I hope the class has some skills of its own this time. When I found out that DLC Marth couldn't learn any skill if you didn't reclass him was kind of a bummer (but then Second Seals came and all was fine)
  10. Marry your... what. the. actual. heck. I mean, your adoptive siblings, I get that... and Azura too, but... but... blood related siblings?!? I mean, I read it, but I couldn't quite wrap my head around it. Oh, btw. Thanks for replying :D
  11. Good day to all members of the hype train for Fates! Holy hell, what a surprise! Those lucky, lucky Hong Kong guys and gals... I WANT THAT GAME AND I WANT IT NOW!!!1!!!11111 *clears throat* yeah... sorry... Did I miss something? Or is the list with the support options not up yet I really want to know if the Avatar can marry Hana/Kazahana
  12. Hi, guys. Sorry for two topics in one day, but I had to get this one off my chest, too. Recently, I decided to change things up a little and came up with some 'challenges' for Fire Emblem Awakening to keep playing the game interesting and fresh (kinda) and I decided to share them with you guys. Challenge 1: Story-characters only This is a challenge that involves using only major characters (those that get heavily featured in cutscenes and story segments and are 'crucial' to the plot) throughout the game. The usable characters for this challenge are: Chrom, Avatar, Lissa, Frederick, Lucina, Say'ri, Tiki, Flavia, Basilio (and maybe Gangrel, Walhart, Emmeryn, Yen'fay and Aversa) Difficulty: any Special conditions: only these characters are allowed to do battle at any given point in the game. Challenge 2: Chon'sin This is a challenge that involves using only classes that are styled after japanese soldiers and/or appear in Yen'fay's paralogue. Usable classes for this challenge are: Myrmidon Archer Thief Mercenary Bow Knight Swordmaster Assassin Trickster Hero Difficulty: any Special conditions: all characters that can be Swordmasters must be Swordmasters. Only Killing weapons can be used (once they are available) What do you think of them and do you have some suggestions as well? Let me know :D
  13. Hey, guys! Been playing Awakening again and I wondered what my personal favourite characters were. So I came up with this topic (yes, it's original!!! /sarcasm). If this exists somewhere already, then you (admins) have my sincere apologies and are free to close/delete this topic (if you're fine with it, that's fine too :D) So... what are your favourite Fire Emblem Awakening characters? It can be for any reason: stats, personality, design, whatever you like about them. Here are my personal top ten: 1 Avatar (both genders) (yeah, obviously) 2 Sumia (sweet, kind, strong and pretty? Yes, please!) 3 Nowi (because she has an adorable personality) 4 Say'ri (female Swordmaster. I'm sold!) 5 Chrom (yes, I genuinely like Chrom's character) 6 Severa (holy crap! Killing machine!) 7 Morgan (both genders) (see above) 8 Nah (see above) 9 Lissa (an adorable prankster. I wish she was my little sister) 10 Frederick (LOL! just... LOL!)
  14. In my first ever playthrough it was Nowi, because I didn't know what I was doing. Then I thought: DRAGONS!!! and Morgan as a Manakete kicks ass (not so much in Apotheosis, though) Anyways, nowadays, it goes something like this: Male: Nowi, Sumia or Severa (Sumia is my favourite, though. The supports are so cute :3) Female: Chrom (I had one playthrough with a female character, so...)
  15. Most disliked character in Awakening... let's see. I can actually make a list. 1 Kjelle. I can't stand her "men are sh*t" attitude. She's a perfect example of why I despise (extreme) feminists so much... also, I can't stand her "I'm stronger than ANYONE!!!" attitude either... I can't stand her, let's just leave it at that. 2 Sully. For the same reasons as her daughter. Ugh... they didn't do a good job with these two. There are plenty of strong women (Say'ri, Mia, Lyndis, Marisa, Palla, female Avatar (Awakening) etc. etc.) in Fire Emblem history that don't need to spout "I'm better than any man" or "men are sh*t* anyway", so I see these two as a HUGE setback in terms of women rights... (Hell, now I'm doing it!). 3 Ricken. I hate people who overestimate themselves. Ricken is no exception. I hated him from the moment he appeared on screen being all like "duh, I can do it by myself!". What I did was being all like "prove it" and put him alone on the frontlines. He died in just one fight. ONE. FIGHT. Damn I hate this guy... Those were the ones I hate. Here are the ones I am neutral about/couldn't care less if they didn't exist at all (in no specific order): Laurent Gregor Inigo Flavia Aversa I'm fine with everyone else, though.
  16. My guess is that the little sister thing is a follow up from Lissa and Alja (cute as a button, but illegal as heck and sister to the main character (Chrom and Ike, respectively)). And Nowi... and Nah... and Myrrh... and Fae... and Shadow Dragon Tiki... and holy hell, Fire Emblem's got a lot of lolis... *shudders* On topic. LOL. I mean, if there WAS a marrying system in the game, my character would go with Kazahana or that dancer lady. Probably Kazahana though, because 1) she's a Myrmidon/Swordmaster (maybe) and 2) I personally like the bubbly, happy girl type in stories. But as I stated: my CHARACTER would go with that. Not me exactly.
  17. Well, my favourite character so far is Kazahana or one of the two Kamuis (leaning towards the female, though). I'd say Kazahana simply because for whatever reason, I'm a sucker for female myrmidons (I used Marisa over Joshua in Sacred Stones and preferred Mia over other Swordmaster units in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn and my female Avatar in Awakening is a swordmaster). I really don't know why. Ryouma seems cool, too. So does Marx. Actually, all of the new characters have their charms (although I'm not too much into Camilla's design. It's too fanservice-y for my tastes. For the very same reason I didn't like Aversa...)
  18. Not sure if trolling, but... yeah, if you think so, it's okay. You have your opinion and I have mine. ... You were not trolling, were you?
  19. I know. I meant it happens more frequently with her than with others (for some reason). Also, she wasn't really on my worst characters list to begin with. Those were Gaius, Ricken, Miriel and Donnel. Cherche just got a mention, because of the reasons I stated earlier.
  20. Tales of Zestiria by a long shot. Bravely Second Those are the two I came up with on the fly. We'll see.
  21. I'd say one of the Tales games, but that's a bit bias because next to Fire Emblem, the Tales series is my personal favourite video game franchise. (Just finished Vesperia and LOVED it, even though a certain bit in the ending had me confused). I'm planning on preordering Zestiria as I did with Xillia 2
  22. Off topic: I'm really looking forward to Fire Emblem if. On topic: It's always both ways. It's never a one-way road. At least that's what I think. I just used Awakening as an example, because it was the most noticeable on the forums I looked through (sadly, sometimes even here...)
  23. His favourite Fire Emblem game is the one where *SPOILER ALERT* Loptyr appears in
  24. Cherche does have her perks, and I like her as a unit, but I find that she gets stat-screwed quite often. I agree that she is a powerhouse if she gains stats, but... well, let's just say the RNG and I are arch-nemeses in any video game ever.
