  4. It's another week and time to bring you another update! [spoiler=Yes of course there are zero updates]Let's start with the Zero updates: I might post some of the doodlies from the stream I did some work on this during. I know that it looks like I literally only darkened his cape but let me tell you coloring clothes is suFFERING [spoiler=AND nOW A SUPER COOL ART PROJECT KNOWN AS PROJECT SHARK]It's stickers They're vinyl stickers printed from a cnc vinyl cutter thanks to a handy dandy drawing i did!

  6. A small little update on WIP-y things because I'm really excited to be using a tablet for art again! [spoiler=artsy update-y things]Wow look i did a bunch of work on Zero To be honest a lot of my digital stuff is unfinished, but I think what you're saying is that my work with traditional media looks more... polished? Can you explain a little more what you mean?
  7. Here we are with another weekly-ish update! So, what do i have in store for you all today? More FE14 drawings! [spoiler=Art is really tiring so only one of these is actually finished] [spoiler=Camilla aka Miss Party Boob] [spoiler=Lobster Lord, Prince Charming, and Dancer Lady Never Smile] If you can't read my handwriting, it says "None of you smile wtf" [spoiler=Zero thingy I'm doing for Marthzilla] I did not intend for this to be a gif but oh well it's a damn good rough sketch I was really tired this point so I stopped drawing Aaaaand that's that! Tell me what you think~
  8. I'm happy being as short as I am. It's easier to get away with ordering off of the kid's menu when you're only 5'2"~ Interesting to hear!
  9. Tbh I like my voice a lot more than I used to because holy wow it's a very nice voice. There are definitely times when I wish my voice didn't get super mega high when I get nervous, but overall I definitely like my voice. for example
  10. Oftentimes my characters get their start from a drawing, and then grow from there because I end up having to develop their personality as I draw them more. My favorite and preferred method of fleshing out characters is trying to imagine them doing really mundane tasks (for example: How would X character dance? How would X character hold their glass while drinking? What about a tea cup or mug? How does X character sit in chairs? How do they display boredom? etc), which gives rise to their personality and those little things about them that make them more real. All the basic info and whatnot happens somewhere along the line as notes in my sketchbooks too but it happens more as an along the way piece of the puzzle rather than the trip itself? Idk that's just how I do things.
  11. Hearing you say such nice things about my art makes me really, really happy! So thank you ouo. I think I'll do some more work on the mandarin fish now actually, since I'm in an art mood and didn't really know what to work on.
  12. Wowza! Your art really shows all the effort you put in, so great work! I hope I can help you out with what you've already pointed out as problem areas so you can make your art even more impressive than it already is So, the girl in the dress. You mentioned that you thought you maybe made her shoulders too wide but in actuality, the thing that I see that makes her torso look a little off is actually the dress itself more than her shoulders (which in my opinion look A+). What I personally am seeing is that her dress doesn't quite match up with her intended (I HOPE) body shape due to the way it comes off her person. I made this as an attempt to explain what I'm seeing here, so please bear with me. The way the dress falls off of her body just below the bent right (her right) arm suggests to the viewer that her torso is much wider than it really is. Think of it as one of those situations where you try on a super cute dress at the store, only to find that the cut and style of it doesn't look right on you. How I personally (This is only a suggestion, so go with what you feel works best for you!) would remedy this is let the dress follow the contour of her hips juuuust a teensy bit before billowing/flowing/whatever it's called out from her person so it is more easily suggested to the viewer what her body shape is. The only other thing I'm seeing that you might want to work on is the length of her right arm (the bent one). The width of it is a-okay stylistically (I'm actually really proud and a bit jealous of the fact that you managed to make the arms look thin because I always seem to make them too wide in my own artwork) but it looks a pinch too short for her body, which could very well just be a result of the pose. The elbow is a little high and slightly too close to her body (which could also help with suggesting her shape more clearly now that i look closer) from what I'm seeing posing in the bathroom mirror, but fixing that sort of thing is all a matter of practice and you'll most definitely be able to improve upon it! I hope to see more work from you soon!!
  13. I feel kind of terrible for not having updated my thread in so long, but that's sort of what happens when i get busy and have little time to make art. However, I've got a plan to maybe remedy that. I'll try to update my thread at least once a week because structured, scheduled things are really helpful! [spoiler=Here it is, the art that you all come here to look at.] [spoiler=These first two are kiiiiiinda old but who the heck cares since i was planning to post them anyways]Remember how I call myself the Wizartist. Well here's the finished thing of that. And also, because it took a TON of work to make, the starry bits I used to do the inside of the hat. [spoiler=It wouldn't be an update without mermaids, now would it?] [spoiler=Zebra Lionfish... or Zebra Turkeyfish... or just fucking Dendrochirus zebra because science]this is a wip that i'm doing on my phone because it's a pain in the ass to charge the iPad and way easier to carry my phone around with me [spoiler=This isn't even finished but you know what I'm proud of this] [spoiler=I drew this in the car the other day so it's not perfect but i'm not about to ruin it in a futile attempt to adjust it] Tfw the photo is still huge even after you resize it. [spoiler=Last but not least, proof that mspaint is a good art program] And that's all for now! I've got some more stuff to finish and color so hopefully there'll be plenty to show off for the next update!
  14. I really like the way the coloring on your newest Ampharos pops in comparison to the other Ampharos you drew! Even though the coloring does look shiny sometimes, I feel like it has some serious oomph! Keep it up Shuuda~!
  15. As promised, I bring you another update! [spoiler=Look! I actually posted when I said I would!] CHECK IT [spoiler=THE DIGITAL COOL STUFF] [spoiler=Oh hey look it's Cyrus] My favorite fluffbaby So yeah, that's tonight's update! Please don't hesitate to give critiques and the like, I'm always up for that sort of thing ouo
  16. I really haven't updated in a while. Oh well. To celebrate the sheer MUSCULARITY of some of the characters from FE14, have a Rinka. [spoiler=Boy do i love muscular chicks] I just noticed the eyelash on her right elbow. Interesting Other than that, there's really not a lot else I have to show off. I'll have more to share soon!
  17. I hope to update really soon, actually! Also, it means a lot to hear that my style resonates with you in a way that it feels personal! Ahhhh, thank you so much!
  18. A quick update consisting of more mermaids and some WIP art! As usual, comments and criticism are welcomed and encouraged! [spoiler=Mermaids]The first image makes me think about the Death Parade opening. I couldn't quite place what was wrong with that one hand, so if anyone has any help to offer I'd really appreciate it! Boy do I love sharks [spoiler=WIP stuff]This one's got some layers to it, mainly because I've got a few sets of WIP on it, the second and third of which may or may not be tossed. [spoiler=Original Sketch] [spoiler=Cleaning up lines]Haha yeah I'm really really lazy about finishing the line clean up tbh, partially because I got frustrated with the nose and the iPad keeps dying. [spoiler=I gave up on the lines and just started slapping colors on]I always seem to give up on linework because I want to color. And there you have it! Next time, I hope to have some traditional stuff colored, so stay tuned~!
  19. My goodness, your style is adorable! I really like the way your coloring looks too, it's a very aesthetically pleasing style. Honestly, your art brings a huge smile to my face, it's all so warm and welcoming. As for some critique, I must say that your humanoid poses do seem a bit too static and rigid, but that's not really as much of an issue so much as it is a skill that is acquired with practice. Chrom's arm and hand are a prime example of the rigidity, so perhaps utilizing references for the way the pose works would help! I'm no expert on maintaining fluidity of poses myself, but that's often one way of remedying the issue! I also noticed that Chrom and Hinoka's noses seem to be in more of a profile view than the rest of their features. This may or may not be a stylistic choice of yours, and it's not really all that glaring of an issue, it just sticks out to me for some reason. Aside from those two things, which again are relatively minor things, your humanoids are pretty damn good! I can't wait to see more of your works~ ouo
  20. And now, the moment you all actually seem to have been waiting for: An Update! [spoiler=Haha I didn't feel like sizing everything down so you'll have to live with huge images inside of spoilers] [spoiler=Take a look at this majestic Moon Boob] [spoiler=Haon you have been waiting for an eternity for me to finish this]I still have no clue what the front of the armor looks like [spoiler=MERMAIDS HOLY SHIT] And then there's also a Melodishark [spoiler=And lastly, we have a two day old image of my current art project, MONOPRINTING]Have you noticed my obsession with fish yet Part of me regrets not shrinking the images down now.
  21. I must say, the first and second images are definitely my favorites! The facial expression of the girl with the staff is so wonderful! Keep up the lovely work~
  22. Alrighty!, I've got a few more pieces to share with everyone, so get ready! First up we've got an old-ish drawing that I use mainly as my computer bg [spoiler=Idk it's something cute and i wanted to share] Next, we've got some assorted doodles! [spoiler=Let the doodle assortment begin]These are some random scribblies of my two tacticians as recruitable units that I did in Chemisty a few days back I am so sorry for the weird notepad but it was free paper and i wasn't about to let the opportunity pass me by... Hoshi let me draw her absolutely adorable OC and said I could post my drawing! [spoiler=I had so much fun drawing wings again ouo] And lastly, here's some coloring practice I did after watching a literal boatload of Steven Universe earlier today: [spoiler=Thaaaaaats whyyyy the people of this world believe in Garnet, Amethyst, ]AAAAAAAND PEARL That's all for now! I'd love to hear what everyone has to say, so don't be afraid to send your thoughts my way!
